Default Kundalini, Side effect of Sleep Apnea

The first time I remember of Kundalini is back in 1992.
Wow what an experience that was, it lasted for three hours.
    It was extremely euphoric.
Since that date it has happened several times since then ranging anywhere from two hours to 4 days at a time.

I never understood my triggers of kundalini until I read a book recently called ‘Kundalini Exposed’ by Santata Gamana; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kundalini-E...kle_mcd_asin_2

It dawned on me when reading this book that ‘holding ones breath’ is key to unlocking each chakra you have, and a part of my sleep apnea is where my body forgets to breathe (personally I call this ‘lazy lungs’).

Kundalini does not happen all the time, but occasionally it unlocks all the chakras and I achieve kundalini (none of this unlocking is done consciously).

It will be interesting to hear of other sufferers of sleep apnea as to whether they have the same side effect.

    So interesting, Rosco1.
I also have been told I have sleep apnea. And also have had what is best described as Kundalini.
Thanks for the new food for thought!

My notes about my shaking practice are littered with something that I annotate as a "breathing problem". It is a kind of central apnea (my breathing just stops happening automatically). It isn't necessarily during sleep though. I have had Kundalini experiences. I kind of thing of the breathing problem as more of an obstacle than a plus.

Mine is called 'Obstructive Sleep Apnea', and it happens anytime during the day as well.
It was alarming to my ex-girlfriends when I would automatically stop breathing during the night. They would give me a sharp dig and say, 'For gods sake Breathe'!!! lol
They would also know when I was having a kundalini experience as I would have a cheeky grin etched on my face for however long the experience was for.
Boy did she get jealous of me being in this state as she too wanted to experience it!
All of your senses are very heightened, you can carry on with your day but also have a great sense of inner peace.

Mine freaks the hell out of my wife !
I was well in my 30's when I became aware it wasn't normal, I'd had it all my life from as early as I can remember - I thought it was normal until 20 years ago ( might be - what's normal anyway ? - might have it's purpose !)
    Now (to some) it's a "condition" !

    Yes.

But i still don't call it "suffering".
    Same with my "tinnitus".
