Default Mind Blowing Experiences, the Unforgettable, the Inexplicable and the Weird.

This thread is for sharing all those experiences that you would have a hard time getting people to believe but that actually happened to you. You may even have a hard time believing it yourself.

I was in the Preseli Mountains on a dull day and lying down on a huge Blue Stone rock with my eyes closed. Suddenly through my closed eyes I saw bright light and thought the sun was out. Upon opening my eyes I saw that it was not out. The light was in my head. I repeated the opening and closing of eyes several times but no..the light was definitely in my head and the Preseli stone was transmitting into me and possibly waking up the Pineal. These rocks are known for raising vibration and also for cleaning all neg vibes from the body.
For those of you who have not heard of the Preseli mountains I have included the video below.

So many. That's not a boast just a reality. Not all of them were good experiences either. I'm sure many on the forum will know what I mean.

I'm sure I've shared this encounter before somewhere but I couldn't find it. This was the first (that I recall) of many consciously aware, wide-awake UFO sightings – nearly all of which went on to span the entire 1990s. A very strange time for me.

I refer to the notes in my old journal where I recorded each and every sighting/experience.

    ***

December 12th 1989. The time is approximately 8.45am. I am driving to work. The location Bedminster, Bristol, UK. The weather is grey, overcast, damp, cold. Typical English fare. No precipitation.

The rush hour traffic is particularly bad this morning. Cars are moving very slowly. I round a bend and get on the narrow three-lane bridge over the train track.

(You can see this bridge in the background of this image):

As I enter the bridge, a dark object comes into view overhead in the middle-distance. It is hovering directly over the road no more than a few hundred feet up. It is dark against the cloud base, almost a silhouette, but in the grey light I can see enough detail to pick out its metallic construction. There is a faint gleam to it. It is like no aircraft I have ever seen, because it is unmistakably round.

What I am seeing is a classic flying saucer. The most classic flying saucer you could ever imagine. Think George Adamski, Paul Villa, Billy Meier. This is like something out of a 50s B-Movie.

The traffic creeps forward a few yards, and the saucer is still sitting there perfectly still. But what I cannot understand is that no one else around me seems to see it. I am in the right-hand lane of a three lane one-way road. We're all facing in the same direction, so it's impossible that they cannot see it. Look up! Look up! I'm shouting in my mind. But no one looks up, no one sees.

Then things get very strange. I do not know what happened, how, or exactly why, but I'm no longer in my car. I don't remember getting out, but I'm now standing on the pavement (sidewalk). No cars are moving, but if they abruptly did start shunting forward I would be blocking traffic. I don't even think about that – I don't care. I'm standing at the side of the road with my hand over my eyes staring at this magnificent object hanging in the sky. It is perfectly silent. I remember pointing, hoping to draw attention to it. But no one is paying any attention to it, or paying any attention to me at all. Now I become aware that I don't hear car engines any more. It's as if the world freezes, everything and everyone in it, except for me and the UFO.

I cannot account for what exactly happened next, but I am then aware of viewing the craft in a completely different part of the sky. I have no memory of seeing it move. Now it's behind me, down the road the way I had already come. It has changed shape – or it is another craft. This is no longer a saucer but a cylinder. It has the shape of two soup cans stuck together end on end, connected by a narrower cylinder in the middle. It gives off a red/orange glow. Slowly, it begins moving away from me in a westerly direction.

After what seems like minutes watching it (it was probably only seconds), the sound of traffic and a world in motion reaches my ears again. I jump back into my car and resume my journey to work – and for the rest of the day I feel like I am floating.

For illustrative purposes I got on Google Maps/street view, and found the exact spot this experience occurred. I borrowed some stock cgi UFO image to superimpose. This is pretty close as a "representation" of it. In '89 there was no dumb contra-flow bus lane, this was all one-way. I was in the right-hand lane, and that is the very pavement/sidewalk I was standing on while pointing at the object.

Today, every time I drive over this bridge, which is occasionally, I think of that object, that experience, that morning. It is etched in my mind forever.

For the record, I got to work on time, so there was no missing time. Yet I still have many questions: why/how no one else saw it, why/how I got out of the car (with no memory of doing it); the world slowing down/stopping; the UFO being in front of me (east), and then behind me (west) in the blink of an eye; the UFO being initially a saucer then inexplicably a weird reddish cylinder.

This doesn't end here (it all begins here). Upon leaving my workplace that night at approximately 5.30pm, I was crossing the carpark on my way to the car, when a large, brilliant, pink light descended out of the clouds and hovered overhead, a little to the north. I rushed back inside, up the stairs, to find a workmate who I knew was still there. I was desperate for a witness. I ran to a north-facing window on the second-floor, but I already knew what we'd see. Nothing. It was gone.

So began a wild journey of discovery, outward and inward. Life would never be the same.

Thank you for posting Trisher; I love the Preseli Mountains, I used to live near there and you've brought back some lovely memories (none so magical as yours though!). I find Wales generally to be a very magical landscape, even little streams that trickle down the hillsides seem to sing. I'd sit beside one for a while, absorb the magic and all my cares melted away.

Default Re: Mind Blowing Experiences, the Unforgettable, the Inexplicable and the Weird.

A year ago, late autumn, I used to go to the garden in the evening to look at the sky, I usually like to do this alone, it is a kind of meditation, in fact without wanting to meditate necessarily, maybe more a contemplation .Sometimes I have headphones in my ears with the music I like, sometimes when the wind blows, I like to listen to the sound of the leaves from the trees on the hill, they have a certain song sometimes.

I had the camera with me, and I was going to photograph any event that might happen, because some time ago, I had seen a ufo very close.
So I walked over the grass, trying to follow the next star that would appear in the order I knew, "on my piece of sky" here. And I didn't expect anything to happen, so I enjoyed the cold, fresh air.
I looked across the sky for a while, thinking of poems and what else I would like to write, thinking compassionately of a friend's sick little daughter, wishing with all my heart for her healing in the most positive way. I somehow knew that nothing is lost and that there is hope for her.

Cassiopeia is a constellation that always catches my eye, I don't know why, but that night, it was brighter than ever, as if someone was simply shaking the stars so that they could shine brighter, and I was thinking in a beautiful positive (imaginative) way :
what if I disappeared and I could dissipate right in the middle of it(?)... and I closed my eyes feeling it in a way that was hard to explain, but apparently easy to do.

For me it has to do with a free will, not being afraid of death or life (too long for a philosophy) but the "feeling" is short.
At one point I opened my eyes and from its center, a light appeared, similar to the other lights that stop in the sky above the garden most of the time, and intensify in luminescence.
This light was very orange instead and I had never seen orange before, so I said with all admiration, "Oh but how beautiful you are!"
And slowly the light gradually began to increase, I did not know if it was approaching, or just increasing, because somehow in its brightness I could not appreciate the distance. The fact that it began to increase, gave me a pleasant emotion as if the light somehow felt my positive energy and was trying to greet me, so I felt the need to raise my right hand and say, "Welcome!"
It was just incredible and I was amazed...
While I stood with my hand up and had the feeling of joy that the light "responds" to my emotion, it kept growing and at one point I was almost certain that it was approaching me.
All this time I completely forgot that I have the camera, in fact I am almost convinced that I did not hold anything in my hands.

I lowered my right hand, and the pleasant emotion of joy turned into a few uncertainties in thousands of seconds, because that light that was actually in the sky, so ...surely somewhere far away, had begun to become a kind of object in close proximity - somehow in air, and it had grown to about the size of a full moon, but it was no longer in the sky, it was on its way to me, coming through the air directly at me. And it shone so perfectly in the orange color of the glow, not the color.

So seeing her so close to me, I took a step back and because the light was still getting big I took another step back because somewhere in myself, I felt the imminence of some kind of impact, so I was extremely terrified-confuse in a very, very short time, and I screamed so loud that my echo was heard over the hill behind the house and my husband heard me from the house from a great distance with music in his headphones at maximum.

The problem is that just when I heard myself screaming, I was very sorry I did it and the light went out and, I was sorry it went out, it was a pretty confusing emotion terribly pleasant imminent that it gave me an extremely relatively positive state, thinking that I would have to reevaluate the potency of my heart in terms of instinct and understanding of events, but for that I have to think more, which I know is a process.

It's easy for me to believe what happened to me, and for those who wouldn't believe me, I'd say they shouldn't believe me, I'd rather say they should experience it themselves.
Every human is a question asked to the Spirit of the Universe, again and again, because every human is an endless row of humans and in all humans together dwelling the Great Human Spirit.

Thanks for telling that experience Anca!

And what happened to me, 31 years ago, is so “close” to your experience that it is incredible (well, this thread is a good place to relate these events!).

It happened on the 2nd of December 1989. It was the month after the “Iron Curtain” fell. On vacation in Thailand, I was on a night train from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. The train was an old one but nice one. The wagons were separated by a short platform, like you sometimes can see in old Western movies. You could actually stand on them, in between two carriages.

Sleeping in a berth in the train, around 11 pm I started to feel feverish. But I was not ill at all. I can’t say what actually happened, it was one of these few times in my life where there was some sort of spontaneous energy-surge in me and of which I have no idea where it came from. I felt as if I was in another state of consciousness (no other way to describe it) and around midnight I felt I should go outside and “get some air”. Now, on this train I could actually do that. I walked towards the next wagon, and stopped on the connecting platform between the two railway carriages and took some deep breaths.

The scenery was beautiful, a very clear sky, beautiful mountains and pitch dark. I looked up at the stars. When I was a kid, about 10, astronomy was a hobby of mine (I always liked “the stars”!). The constellations were familiar to me. While looking up, suddenly a “beam of light”, orange colour (!) came from the sky towards me. It “entered” my body where the third eye is. And then went straight through me, to disappear in the ground (on the moving train). It only took a second, probably less. The feeling was not unpleasant and possibly the strongest “energy boost” I ever received.

The fever was gone. I felt “normal” again. Then I looked up to the sky, to see where that beam had originated. And yes… Cassiopeia it was! It puzzled me. But – of course – I never forgot that experience. About 11 years later it would bring me in another incredible situation (but that is yet another story).

It would be interesting to know if other people on PA have had similar experiences, like you and me.

To illustrate what happened to me, I can show this drawing: (from this website Dickian Gnosticism – The Exegesis of Philip K. Dick. (wordpress.com))

That is exactly what happened, only the colour was different (not pink, but orange).

Maybe you know who the man in the picture is? I always felt “a close relationship” with him and he had quite an unusual life too (P K Dick).

So, thank you for telling us about your experience. Both our experiences seem to fit in with a Shakespearean saying:

There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Thank you Hikerchick. I have been to Pentre Ifan a few times and like you I believe its a portal. A friend of mine was sitting next to it eating lunch and happened to look up at the sky. There he saw two planes go into a cloud and then nothing emerged. My friend states that a large ball object emerged from the cloud after a couple of minutes and rapidly zoomed off in another direction and disappeared from view. The planes had vanished.

Things like this nudge reality into another level.

Years ago, I was at Mesa Verde as a graduate student. I was with a group. I was sitting on a rock at the cliff edge watching the buzzards hover on the thermal, taking pictures. The people in my group all told me later that I simply disappeared. One minute I was there, thinking, watching, hearing people talk and the next minute I was gone. Everyone was hunting for me, they thought perhaps I fell over the edge, park rangers were called. People were searching. I never moved from the spot I was at I just went to a different time and spoke at length to an old Indian there. Then I came back. My professor, fellow students, and the park rangers were completely freaked out. There I was sitting on the rock where I had been. At first my professor accused me of some sort of stunt. But he knew that wasn't my style. I have 2 close friends who were on that trip who occasionally bring it up and ask me again what really happened. I will go back there soon to that spot and sit.

    Enjoying this thread.

About 10 years ago, myself and 2 friends decided we would have an evening meal at a restaurant situated in a nearby harbour.

We decided that we would walk to the restaurant which took us through a pathway near some woods.

After an enjoyable meal, we headed back. One of my friends, I would describe as very elemental, almost as if she was on a visit in human form from the world of nature spirits. She has much love for animals and nature.

It was dark on our walk back and the pathway was poorly lit by the new moon. We were finding it difficult not to stumble on tree roots and stones. Suddenly, the ground lit up with numerous small flame like lights, as we walked they continued to spark into life, illuminating the pathway back like christmas lights on the ground.

I stopped and bent down to view one of these lights and indeed it was like a miniture flame cradled in the grass. Of this reality but not of this reality.

Eventually, they just disappeared. We were very much in awe. The experience was enchanting and magical.

I do feel the lights were connected to my friend, as there are many tales I could tell of my times with this nature spirit.

Zirconian, with your lights you made me tell one of my stories related to lights.

I was in the army January 1989 and I was detached from one military unit in Retezat Mountains to an other military unit in the same mountains but 20 km far away.I tried to catch the bus who transported the night shift to work at 8:00 PM,but I lost it,so I start marching towards my new unit. After about 3 km it start snowing calmly with small snow flakes.I said to myself that will be no problem with the snow wearing heavy winter gear. But step by step, the snow started to fall more heavy and the snow flakes become bigger and bigger so bigger that I always have to clean my gear from snow.

Walking with my head down protecting my eyes I saw that the snow reach the top of my boots making the walking harder and I thought that I didn't walk to much.Having all kinds of thoughts in my head and making a plan how to reach to the unit before the wake up call and protecting my sight, all of a sudden everything around me was lit in a diffuse but clear yellow-ish golden light.I tried to look around and I saw the trees, the snow, the walls of the valley and the river, things that I didn't saw them due to the snow and darkness only knowing that are there and following the road.I couldn't look up because of the snow flakes.

First thing I remember is me entering in the civilian colony where my unit was.Second thing I remember is me on the unit hallway knocking on a door and a soldier open it and remained petrified letting the door open and all of a sudden the other seven sleeping soldiers waking up and telling me to come in.I entered in the room and I took off my gear and I fall asleep until evening.

After I woke up,they asked me who I am and from where I came.I told them and they told me that they tried to wake me up and even the Commanding Officer of the unit tried but they didn't manage.

Not even today I don't know what happened from the moment I saw that light and I reach the door or how I reached to the colony, but the comrades told me that I knocked at the door at 5:00AM and I slept until 6:00PM - thirteen hours.I didn't asked them why they were so astonished seeing me there and why all of them woke up and inviting me inside. This is my story.

The single sign that I have form that night is that if I stay to much outside during winter on my right side of the lower lip will always have a crack which will heal if I stay in warm place or inside, otherwise is an open wound.
"Your planet is forbidden for an open visit - extremely aggressive social environment, despite almost perfect climatic conditions.Almost 4 billion violent deaths for the last 5000 years and about 15000 major military conflicts in the same period."
