    Default A personal coincidence

Hello everyone! I wanted to share with you something that happened to me some days ago, maybe a coincidence? I don’t know and am still pondering about. Thank you for listening.

I’m currently completing my MA in animations and have this design course. We were only drawing fantasy stuff for about a month until this week that our subject and medium suddenly changed and we were assigned realistic drawings of a chosen animal using pencil. I chose a specific and endangered crocodile called the gharial. The week went by and I didn’t have time to start my project until the day before my class which I had to draw 8 perfect drawings in no time! I was so stressed and skipped some sleep but really loved what I was doing and drew every picture with precise detail and whole heartedly. After two drawings I went to bed and the next morning just about one hour after I rushed and started the third one, the news page which I daily visit was hit with a strange and out of context report of a rumored crocodile in an artificial pond in a very busy entertainment center in my town (which you may know is Tehran).

We have no wildlife near let alone crocodiles! Surely someone had set free their pet reptile over there or something but why would anybody do such a thing doesn’t make sense. and by the next morning when I completed my eight drawing, things went serious and firefighters were sent off to investigate. And then the official report was that there’s supposedly no crocodiles but the artificial pond has alligator gars which closely resemble the animal I was drawing called the gharial.
Well I’m wondering! Maybe we should start drawing family and friends rich and happy!

Did you check to see if all 8 of your drawings are still where you drew them? 😉

    Well, yes!

As a serious and fascinating note, that's VERY probably what our hunter-gatherer ancestors used do before going out to hunt animals — and may even have been what some cave paintings were about.

The Innu, used to carve a semblance of whatever animal they wanted to hunt. It was a substitute residence, for the spirit of the animal, since they would consume the flesh of the animal.

    Cute Gharial, nice synchronicity

I can relate to this as I have had synchronicities happening through my artwork time and time again so much they were the foundation of many stories in my book on the subject.

This is what I wrote about art and synchronicity in the forward.

"Being involved in creativity can also be something that can nurture synchronistic events especially if the creative process involves a degree of spontaneity, randomness and chance. Rigid planning and carrying that plan out to the t may produce a great artwork but if you are not allowing ideas to flow and channel through while you are working there is less chance for synchronicity to occur.
Like meditation, the practising of art can put people in a trance like state, whereby the artist is very much in the moment, almost out of time. In these states of mind, the artist is often accessing the unconscious mind whereby archetypes, meanings and messages are more likely to flow through. It is curious that the less someone consciously thinks about something the more likely chance and synchronicity can flow through.
Creativity is also about the manifestation of inner vision into an external object. Once you have that tangible manifested object it is like the inner vision is now interacting in actuality in the physical world.

There are various creative techniques that can potentially increase thechances of the synchronistic quality of an artwork, and its divining potential. These include the cut-up technique that increases the randomness and the workings of chance into your work, although it can be disruptive and destructive to certain art works."
“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The latter procedure, however, is disagreeable and therefore not popular.” (Carl Jung)

I once met a "seer" who told me that all doodles on pieces of paper end up being creatures in the sea. Some of them do look like doodles. If that is true for them then maybe someone doodled us. As time itself is only linear in this dimension then the potentials are there for the creature to exist before the drawing and we just pick up on its essence. We also appear to attract to us that which we focus on.
    Many potentials and possibilities.

Dorjezigzag thats was soooo intresting to read and I agree 100 percent! Your paintings are beautiful
May the source and it’s never ending creativity power us all

P.s. sorry for my late reply, I suddenly caught my first cold since covid and recovered in no time taking as soon as possible 3 mg of vitamin c daily ( I’m pretty small though) + other vitamins like zinc and D and magnesium ... + lots of water mixed with oregano, licorice, curcumin, black pepper and a bit of nutmeg and flaxseed! It took me only three days whilst it would always take more than a week just being able to walk properly, and while I always developed sinus infection this time there was no complications or any infection at all or even coughs or blocked nose. I didn’t even slept or kept warm that well and I was working full time so hail to mother nature and I hope everyone keeps safe

Sorry for the off topic, but me and my kid been using turmeric roots and curcumin in capsule for quite a while, since we both suffer from sinus, we tried more than a dozen different remedies, all miserably failed.

All we need is keep taking it once per week, no need to increase the dosage, sometimes we go full crazy and cook the Indian yellow rice, with chicken marinated in the turmeric mixture. Yummy!

We never suffered again from sinus, it's been years now, it is a great anti-inflammatory just keep eating your turmeric

Hello again my dear friends and Avalonians.

I came back to report that another strange coincidence happened to me today!
As I said I catch a cold last week and because my mother is very stressful, yesterday morning she called over someone to come and test us for covid which I personally denied.

So I was in my room doing my projects while listening to music on headphones then I wore my headphones off and was heading for the kitchen when I heard a stranger’s voice of a women. For some five minutes or so I was completely in a daze as to who it was and for some strange reasons I instantly thought she sounded like a distant relative of my mother which she has personal problems with and tries to cut off completely but they come around once every three or four years, and was so so sure it was her and felt pity for my mother until I was disillusioned.
And guess what, the next day my brother came in the morning and said that the brother of that exact relative’s, which I mistook for the tester, called him just now and was asking for my mother’s number for some unknown business that he didn’t clarify.

I don’t know why this is happening but lately I have done some acts of kindness helping my fellow classmates, Well maybe That’s the switch

Really, I don’t know much, but for reasons or switches this much I can say: It is really hard to put it into words. I think that these synchronies and coincidences have root in something that you feel, not a formula that you could give out in the forms of words although I wish we could and help everyone follow with ease.
For example I could say I connect to nature a lot and take care of old trees and plant oaks when I have the time and that’s a way to reach divine serenity but it’s not a connection, it’s rather a knowing like feeling. like there pops something in your heart that there’s no word for and feels like happiness.
Or maybe it’s just that my english is bad lol

What I’m trying to say is that if you like take care of trees and nothing pops in your heart you have to try harder and reach that point!

I would be interested to learn more about your book and the process you describe. Are you, or anyone else, aware of other people that teach this kind of "manifestation through art"?

I would rather speak of synchronicity? of two events unrelated to the origin and that one makes sense with the other.

In the analytical psychology developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung, synchronicity is the simultaneous occurrence of at least two events which do not present a causal link, but whose association makes sense for the person who perceives them.

Hello dear wegge and lunesoleil, thank you for visiting this topic.
I don’t have any books or know of any. I’m just a regular folk with no knowledge, just sincerely sharing my experience.

I didn’t have any more synchronicity but instead my dreams have been coming true every night. not any big events only small things concerning my own life and about the things that I love and hate the most (it’s all about strong emotions). I love my plants and I will dream about their sickness or blooming and I hate my disturbing neighbor so I dream about him making trouble when he will be making trouble that day! I never 100% believed in an accessible future but I guess now I do because sometimes I forget about a scene in my dream and when it happens that day, I suddenly remember it exactly. so dreams for me can’t be a manifestation but just a prediction.
I did three things that helped with this:

    1. I left every place and thing that brain stormed my brain with useless information that I really didn’t care about. Those kept coming in my dreams and taking up space and time that otherwise could go to more useful scenes and maybe predictions! Like deleting instagram, you don’t need to know your childhood classmate that rarely talks to you ate a burger yesterday. Instead you need to focus your life on things that you deeply love and enjoy. If you deeply love a picture of your classmate eating a burger then that’s the place for you otherwise you will keep dreaming about these useless information noising up your true dreams.

    2. I sleep in the closet! dreams only come true when you sleep good and deeply because only then you will remember them especially the things that had an impact on you in that dream. You must sleep somewhere so dark that you wouldn’t be able to tell it’s already morning especially if you have to sleep late like myself (2 in the morning). No sound either. A good sleep is when you wake up with no head or neck discomfort.

    3. I write down every scene in a dream that comes true. For the record and for learning the personal language of your predictions. Everyone has their own language that they must learn to translate. For example when a leaf on my beloved plant turned yellow I didn’t dream about a yellow plant instead I saw myself in the mirror with yellowed hair (I have dark hair)

And that’s all that I know for now!
