BBC Publishes Cringe Guide For ‘Talking To Conspiracy Theorist Relatives’ At Christmas

Broadcaster says ‘keep clam and carry on’ if your uncle starts ranting about our freedoms being taken away
    23 December, 2020 Steve Watson

The British Broadcasting Corporation, the bastion of all that is proper and right, has published a handy Christmas guide for how to talk down to relatives who believe in nasty ‘conspiracy theories’, and it’s a huge sack full of cringe.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson effectively cancelled Christmas for a third of the UK, and is now threatening to lockdown the entire country on Boxing Day.
That is not enough for the woke state broadcaster, however, which clearly feels it needs to instruct Brit NPCs on how to debunk the dangerous disinformation being spread by their unmutual uncles and disharmonious descendants.
“How should you talk to friends and relatives who believe conspiracy theories?” The BBC headline reads.

“You’re dreading the moment. As your uncle passes the roast potatoes, he casually mentions that a coronavirus vaccine will be used to inject microchips into our bodies to track us,” the ‘five point guide’ outlines, adding “Or maybe it’s that point when a friend, after a couple of pints, starts talking about how Covid-19 ‘doesn’t exist’.”
“Or when pudding is ruined as a long-lost cousin starts spinning lurid tales about QAnon and elite Satanists eating babies.”
    Cringe.

Ok, so what does one do in this horrible situation, oh mighty and wise Big BBC Brother?
“Keep calm; don’t be dismissive; encourage critical thinking; ask questions; don’t expect immediate results.”
Eh? So don’t immediately shut them down as a dangerous conspiracy theorist who spreads fake news? Just retain that thought in your head while you deeply patronize them with your received BBC approved spoon-fed opinion.
    OK then.

Perhaps chase them down the street screeching questions about why they are not wearing a face mask? Probably a good tactic.

Paul Joseph Watson guest hosts The Alex Jones Show to break down the medical tyranny takeover of the UK as “new” strain of Covid spreads.
    Next tip?

People who believe conspiracy theories often say: “I do my own research.”
Well, how dare they believe something not published by the BBC. How bloody awful.
“The problem is that their research tends to consist of watching fringe YouTube videos, following random people on Facebook, and cherry-picking evidence from biased Twitter account.”
So we take away their social media accounts then, right?
“Your aim is not to make them less curious or skeptical, but to change what they are curious about, or skeptical of.”
Ah, OK. Direct them to the BBC website then?
Any more tips, oh corporate board of directors earning millions per year from scalping old ladies by pretending they have to pay you to own a TV?
“Focus on those who are pushing these ideas, and what they might be getting,” says Claire Wardle. “For instance, financial gain by selling health supplements, or reputational gain in building a following.”
Yeah, those evil conspiracy theorists, making a living AND selling vitamins that are good for your health.
    What’s next Gandalf BBC?
“Conspiracy theories tend to be simple, powerful stories that explain the world. Reality is complex and messy, which is harder for our brains to process.”
Ouch, thinking hurts too much. Got it.
Wait, so pedos don’t run the world then?

All in plain sight ... meanwhile almost all Mainstream Media refuses to ask the hard questions!

[pseudo skeptic quote]: John you are a "Conspiracy Nut" [unquote]

    ~my response:

Yeah it “must” be total nuts that we have laws to put people in prison (jail) for conspiring … totally nuts is that … what were they thinking? … When two or more people prepare to commit a crime or to do harm is totally “science fiction” … the lawmakers must also be “conspiracy nuts” then.

Conspiracy Researchers studies Proven Conspiracy Facts and sometimes have “Theories” about KNOWN liars mixed with hard evidence of corruption, colluding, deceptions etc. … To label some one “Conspiracy Theorists” is to FALSELY ASSUME that some one ‘only’ cooks up “theories”.

This desperate need to control the narrative by MSM is part of mass dumbing down of a nation! Look up the word “Conspiracy” in any (LAW) Dictionary … then ask yourself is that “science fiction”? … When 2 or more people prepare to commit a crime or to do harm is that so “far fetched” … what MSM tries to do is you to be associated with certain people that are FAR from being a true researchers or being an honest conspiracy analyst.

The reason MSM never can share an honest representation of that what they attack is because they assume most will not verify their own sold claims & judgemental assumptions to them! So they count on you being lazy!

Ask any police officer if they are allowed to have a theory when they investigating a possible crime … just ask them please … Then you will realize how stupid the framing really is.

TV Series like: “Inspector Columbo” (Peter Falk) would be pretty BORING if he was not allowed to have several theories when he is investigating a possible crime(s) and/or criminal suspect(s). You see they DEMONIZE any critical thinking exposing Government Puppet Politicians, Corrupted Mainstream Media, Hijacked “Protecting Agencies”, Big Pharma Mafia, Banksters with their Giant Fiat Money Pyramid Ponzi Scheme etc.

There is nothing wrong having theories ... but it will get wrong (really bad) when MSM get never get a "fact check" when they spew theories & (rigged) "computer models" / 'predicting the future' scare monger tactics 24/7 ... When we occasionally do it, they falsely assume it is meant as "absolute" or "only one way of thinking" like as if it is a fact.

So they first FRAME us (using straw-man argument tactics) then claim we are "spreading misleading/deceptive" information that can have consequences for their #Agenda2030 "Global Governance" plans ... But when they (msm) have theories, it will be treated as such by "fact checkers sites" leaving them alone as the theories HELPS to push their agenda when they are NOT openly challenged!

Meanwhile they are the ones using obvious misleading/deceptive framing techniques to silence any form of real opposition/resistance.

That's the typical patronising, sneering attitude of the Beeb.

Take heart, the BBC is on its uppers as people are cancelling their TV licences in droves. We have to have a TV licence here to watch live TV and the revenue goes to the BBC, which is a major bone of contention seeing as many pay for a digital package and don't watch the BBC. The notion of it being a 'national institution' is fading rapidly.

The BBC will either have to accept commercials, or go under.

The Beeb is absolutely of that mind and has to be right up there at the top of the list of things to REALLY cancel, competing with the CIA and debt based central banking:

BBC World Service, Trending - Help! My mum is a conspiracy influencer

BBC World Service, Trending - The roots of Donald Trump’s ‘voter fraud’ strategy

BBC World Service, Trending - Votes, viruses, victims: 2020 in disinformation

I'll go as far as to say the UK Christmas cancellation/lockdown is ALL ABOUT this issue.

Well, seems like those conspiracy theory people might have something of value to say if the gov has to warn people away from them.

Might be in vain. Normies usually lose these discussions if they are based on facts. For them it is only about emotion and labelling or framing so they can indulge in their own cognitive dissonance to further ignore the fact that not all they are told officially on television is the truth (including BBC).

⚠️ Am really sincerely curious when people who, overall, still trust BBC, how their brains works ... Do they ever have any moments of self-doubt? ... or is that exactly WHY (not allowing healthy self-doubt) they are in that fixed state of mind to "cope with (assumed) reality" that way. Or is it something deeper. The perpetual denial & self-deception must have grown so big it is too overwhelming to go back or to reevaluate their chronic stubbornness.

All other less bias mass media are NO saints ... they too have their flaws & (sometimes obvious) limitations. Some people just want to learn from all of them, by doing so you may find out HOW all of them are normalizing insanity! ... Pushing the "new normal" serving Agenda 2030. No wonder they must Demonize Real Alternative Media!

In Canada it is the CBC...as a kid you have grown up with it, watching Hockey Night in Canada and it is like an extended part of your family. But that was before the internet came about so the older crowd are sticking to the original - the one they can trust. This new internet technology is not something they can really understand so they do not trust it. So, their devotion to the old standard is strengthened.

Advertising and marketing - the basics. They know their audience. Add in extra psychology and subliminal programming and take the sheeple wherever they want them to corral them.
