The Conservative Beaver seems to be a brand new site - only a few months old.

It is claimed they also claimed in an older article that Obama has been arrested on espionage - I do remember that report but the article seems to have been removed ... hmmm ....

its sad but i think many of these new fledgling sites abandon ethics morals and honesty and push out hope porn, knowing we are all in desperate times. this is a willful con by them to get viewers and subscribers and are no better than the cheaters of this election. time will tell.

I did a web search and think it was the Obama article you mention that I was getting confused with. I think it or links to it perhaps mentioned a media blackout rather than an electrical one.

Sorry for confusion, but I can't personally trust site I don't think. Perhaps being used to muddy the waters and descredit people.

Yeah I agree ... I think maybe that site is quick to publish stuff on a whim, or for the clicks. All other articles seem to be citing this one. This is my conclusion until more evidence turns up on this topic.

It sounds a bit like what DJ (Dark Journalist) calls "Junk conspiracy".

Also the story about the arrest of the Italian president seems to make sense only for people unfamiliar with the Italian governmental system. The presidency has just a symbolic, ceremonial role in Italy so arresting the Italian president would be almost meaningless.

We won't go far if we just keep on spreading unverified rumors that turn out to be completly unfounded in the next news cycle....
I fully agree - there may have been an actual blackout (those happen occasionally). I think we should cautiously wait and watch, and try to substantiate before we come just another conduit for spreading nonsense.

    EDIT:
The Conservative Beaver report has an incredible amount of detail and conclusion for something that just happened.

A known tactic in spotting lies that investigators use is to watch for how much a suspect rambles on with extreme details ... it is sometimes telling.
I have a feeling that conservativebeaver report is really old and that I discounted previously as I mentioned in another thread. I suspect there is an old link to it from this site somewhere.

Edit: can't find any evidence of previous post so memory might be wrong. I do know I discounted the site at one point rightly or wrongly.

    Maybe this one from 2018?

Thanks but do remember it being on conservativebeaver but that it was difficult to find links to it from front of site.

First, thanks everyone for your concern.

Second, there was no massive blackout at the vatican.

I received so many links to videos and articles about how a huge sting was underway. There was a gunfight. The vatican was surrounded by military and police. And the pope was arrested and being held in an italian prison waiting for the fbi to arrive.

Now, i love a good conspiracy as much as everyone. You might remember when i posted the video of smoke rising over the vatican. That video was shown in newscasts all over the world. It was actually a fire at a nearby tire shop. I’m in snopes now thanks to that one.

But a gunfight at the vatican and the pope being held by the fbi.. What?

I looked out my window (i can see the vatican from my apartment) lights were on. No gunfights. No police. Cars were coming and going as usual on an early winter sunday morning.

i can't find anything on india, except an article citing that india is blackout capital of the world as blackouts a regular occurrence.

Quote power restored after italy blackout

italy has got its power fully back today after a nationwide blackout plunged millions into darkness.

As engineers worked to keep the network up after sunday's outage, politicians said italy had received a wake-up call to kick-start economic reforms including measures to boost power generation and reduce dependence on foreign power supplies.

The head of italy's grid system said power had been fully restored across the country but targeted power cuts were planned to avoid overloading the network.

"we are planning precautionary cuts to reduce demand so that it meets the availability (of power)," andrea bollino, chairman of the national grid company grtn, said today.

    storms

authorities attributed the outage to a breakdown of electricity lines, some in heavy storms, from france and switzerland - neighbours supplying italy some 17 percent of its power. But they disagreed on who was to blame.

Almost all of italy's 57 million people were affected by sunday's blackout, a scale similar to last month's collapse in the us northeast and canada.

Four deaths were unofficially attributed to the cuts which struck at 3.20am (1.20am uk time) on sunday.

Grtn blamed the blackout on problems in the swiss and french networks. Italian industry minister antonio marzano called for an investigation.

    tree blamed

swiss power firm atel said a tree, uprooted by strong winds, had knocked out a line carrying power to italy over the alps. But it said that alone could not block power to all of italy, and blamed italy's power grid for not reacting swiftly enough.

It was the fourth major western blackout in two months, after cuts in north america, parts of london and scandinavia.

What a nightmare this all is. I haven't found anything other than hopium so far (even if some of it is quite good). I should clarify that when I say hopium I don't mean I think it is nonsense, just that there is no way to verify it.

Maybe this is the ten days of darkness, where you just can't get any reassurance?

I can see the need for everybody to see the msm lie for as long as possible and keep operations a secret. I get we need a lesson (one way or another).

Still keeping the faith here though. And to me the battle was already lost without the recent help, so why create all this drama if the war was already won (from the their perspective)?

Thanks for pointing that out ... but if you "read" through this thread instead of just reacting you would note my reaction was highly skeptical of the original claim, and pointing out the original source as media outlet that has a history of outlandish articles that bear no truth. Also I was the first to post the write-up from the guy who lives next to the vatican and debunked the outage there.

Ok, but as the person that started this thread I have to say; after the guy said there was no power outage we then we got a report about the entire country of Italy having a power outage. So of course we have to continue to ask questions.

My opening post was a call for verification - and round and round we went. Considering what we have all gone through in the last year there are going to be people jumping to hope and people upset at something not proven.

Bottom line - look at our coverage, our ability to communicate on a world level without fighting. At the end of the day I see a job well done and our hearts and minds still open.

The report of all of Italy having a power outage, I believe only came from my erroneous post from the Daily Mail (although if you look the only date on that page is today's date) ... my apologies for that.

When you are one step ahead of the crowd, you are a genius.
Two steps ahead, and you are deemed a crackpot.

or the purpose of information only: in a previous post it was mentioned that Interpol made the initial arrests. According to Wikipedia: "Contrary to popular belief, INTERPOL is itself not a law enforcement agency".
