it looks very likely that ON TOP of the above we will have another housing crisis as the pandemic has covered up a lot of financially struggling mortgages and has encouraged aggressive lending /borrowing.

There is so much going on right now, all at the same time, very interesting times... July 1 is when it goes boom (foreclosure moratorium expires 6/30) though I imagine that can be kicked down the road as reporting doesn't really happen till a loan is 60 days delinquent... or will the ones that were already there just come due?

"the big short" took 2 years of waiting to happen (once the few people that recognized the housing bubble for what it was and acted on it).

I don't think there's even 6 moths of waiting left on the GME situation (maybe less than 6 weeks)

Not sure if this makes sense, but I've never seen something at this scale before... it's a bit insane....


half the game is patients, I have not sold any of my position and am just waiting for the math to play out.

I already know what the financial change will be in the near future, but it doesn't have any sexy "quantum" in the title... its boring bank jargon; the power of the banks will be shifted significantly because of this change & when it was attempted to be implemented back in 2019 it almost crashed the entire market... haha

SOFR will change how interest rates are calculated. Yet again in a very simple explanation: if Libor is "forward-looking" meaning you get an interest rate ahead of time (you know exactly what your payment will be) - SOFR is the inverse, meaning it's "backward-looking".

There is about $350 - 400 trillion (yes that is TRILLIONS with a T, about 4x the size of the global economy) tied up in this transition.....

The things you mention are not the only things that are a huge threat to the financial world. The crypto space is this too. All these crypto companys almost all focus on decentralisation, privacy and transparency, they all have better technology and they have the momentum. With blockchain banks, insurance etc will all become obsolete. And this is moving lightning fast now. Huge amounts of money are pumped into the crypto space at the moment.

today is an important day, but technically there is no "squeeze" action currently, just breaking out of a consolidation period, and breaking up (as we assumed it would).

some of DFV's last tweets mentioned this date indirectly, such as:


the DTCC is conducting a liquidity test... more rules are out from the SEC... lots of "normal" reasons for the stock to go up... the whole market is green today, maybe a correction of the blood bath yesterday was.

it looks like it could start to head in the direction we want it to, patience is key.

1. What is the predicted top. I have read 10 k 100 k a mil and even 67 mil? Is it so uncertain?
2. Do you think it will dip again? Or only up from here?
3. What are the dates to watch for?

The Launch of a GME NFT on July 14th could mean that crypto dividends will be issued like overstock did (which will instantly cause the squeeze as it's essentially the same as a share recall & all un covered shorts (naked shorts) will have to cover).

there's a congressional hearing today and tomorrow with bank CEO's....

Mortgage forbearance ends 30 June... that's going to be huge for the economy as a whole..

I don't know when, but I do know "soon"

If not are they pushing up the stock now?
Or if they did, were they stupid enough to have shorted the stock again (or is something else driving up the price now)?

1. Is there no timeframe on the shorts? As i understand it now, when the stock starts to rise the hedge funds with the shorts will start to panic because they will need to cover the shorts at higher prices. But lets say the price stays around 200 dollars for years. Is this possible?
2. Is there a way for me to get a signal from a trading site or my broker when the stock gets above certain point? Im a bit afraid im gonna miss the whole show. I only have 2 shares but who knows what the price will be right.

It seems that they have run out of the ability to short aggressively like before, the downward pressure is quite a bit less and the stock is doing what it should have continued to do back in Jan.
If you look at this chart, the stock went up some 20% yesterday, yet reported buy and sell volume is basically equal? (this is the first time in awhile it hasn't been like 2buys:1sell ratio... there is stll some ****ery going on).


Last week it was like a 5:1 buy:sell ratio and the price didn't move much

Patience is always the key in situations like this, that and trusting your data.

Short positions do NOT have to cover, but they DO have to pay daily interest and maintain enough cash on hand to cover the shorted positions margin requirement (which changes based on the price of the shorted stock) so as the price of the shorted stock goes up, those margin requirements do as well & if there is a "margin call" (aka the DTCC asks for proof, with in a short time frame (used to be a day, new rules make it ONE HOUR) if the bank cannot meet the margin requirements for a stock that stock will be liquidated FOR them at what ever price can be gotten & since a short position as INFINATE risk (aka, 1 share shorted at 5 dollars a share COULD go up to 100,000 a share and they would have no choice but to eat the 999,995 loss) this will allow for the INSANE price predictions you see.

Unfortunately that is a very very pedestrian explanation, there is a lot more to it, but that's a good "how it's supposed to work" explanation.

yes, almost all trading apps have "alerts" you can set up.

But you won't miss this, this will happen over a few day stretch, maybe weeks... hard to say but it won't be hours or min.

Once it catches the media's attention the FOMO (fear of missing out) will be strong, the stock will shoot up because of that alone.
