    Default The Age of Orion?

....the rare PURE BLUE, ORION STAR, MINTAKA
came within 20 minutes of declination to the equator 1945AD
will creep closer until 2500AD and stay within range until 3200AD!!!
....so over a thousand years rising in the near exact east every day, everywhere
parallel sun at both equinox(north and south), and surely the star of the millennium
blue is best, forget the rest, a thousand years of peace???
..where is it you might say??...dont look for it in the news, i might say..
...MINTAKA did not get close to the equator in the last precessional cycle 26,000 years ago..the last time mintaka was directly above the equator was 46,758 BC according to stellarium software..during that cycle all the orion belt stars passed over the equator
