Quote MSM Wastes No Time Using Senate UFO Report To Promote Arms Race

The New York Times has published an article on the contents of the hotly anticipated US government report on UFOs, as per usual based on statements of anonymous officials, and as per usual promoting narratives that are convenient for imperialists and war profiteers.

    [...]

I can't predict the future, but I won't be at all surprised if we begin seeing this arms race angle become the dominant aspect of this UFO story in the coming months/years. It would certainly fit the pattern of the US war machine and mass media promoting completely unverifiable allegations about foreign governments to justify further cold war escalations.

    [...]

I have no idea what if anything is going on with these UFO phenomena, but I do know the world-threatening new cold war the US is waging against Russia and China is insane. There is no valid reason our planet's dominant power structures cannot at the very least cease brandishing armageddon weapons at each other and begin collaborating toward a better world together.

Reject the propagandists and cold warriors, no matter how elaborate or bizarre their manipulations become. Keep an eye on these bastards, and help spread awareness of what they're about.
In other words, even if Elizondo, Mellon, et. al. aren't now stressing the threat capacity of the UFOs/UAPs, the discussion about them on Capitol Hill will put Congress in the situation where they have to say "We are going to do something about this!" and then, with the help of their lobbyist friends on "K" street, spend lots and lots of money and drive the U.S.A. even further into debt.

U.S. Finds No Evidence of Alien Technology in Flying Objects, but Can’t Rule It Out, Either

Since this article is behind a paywall, I will post the entire article to illustrate how clueless the NY Times is, or wants us to be.

A new report concedes that much about the observed phenomena remains difficult to explain, including their acceleration, as well as ability to change direction and submerge.

WASHINGTON — American intelligence officials have found no evidence that aerial phenomena witnessed by Navy pilots in recent years are alien spacecraft, but they still cannot explain the unusual movements that have mystified scientists and the military, according to senior administration officials briefed on the findings of a highly anticipated government report.

The report determines that a vast majority of more than 120 incidents over the past two decades did not originate from any American military or other advanced U.S. government technology, the officials said. That determination would appear to eliminate the possibility that Navy pilots who reported seeing unexplained aircraft might have encountered programs the government meant to keep secret.

But that is about the only conclusive finding in the classified intelligence report, the officials said. And while a forthcoming unclassified version, expected to be released to Congress by June 25, will present few other firm conclusions, senior officials briefed on the intelligence conceded that the very ambiguity of the findings meant the government could not definitively rule out theories that the phenomena observed by military pilots might be alien spacecraft.

This image is not from the NY Times, it is just my editorial comment on it.

Americans’ long-running fascination with U.F.O.s has intensified in recent weeks in anticipation of the release of the government report. Former President Barack Obama further stoked the interest when he was asked last month about the incidents on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on CBS.

“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here,” Mr. Obama said, “is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are.’’

The report concedes that much about the observed phenomena remains difficult to explain, including their acceleration, as well as ability to change direction and submerge. One possible explanation — that the phenomena could be weather balloons or other research balloons — does not hold up in all cases, the officials said, because of changes in wind speed at the times of some of the interactions.

The final report will also include a classified annex, the officials said. While the annex will not contain any evidence concluding that the phenomena are alien spacecraft, the officials acknowledged that the fact that it would remain off limits to the public was likely to continue to fuel speculation that the government had secret data about alien visitations to Earth.

Many of the more than 120 incidents examined in the report are from Navy personnel, officials said. The report also examined incidents involving foreign militaries over the last two decades. Intelligence officials believe at least some of the aerial phenomena could have been experimental technology from a rival power, most likely Russia or China.

One senior official briefed on the intelligence said without hesitation that U.S. officials knew it was not American technology. He said there was worry among intelligence and military officials that China or Russia could be experimenting with hypersonic technology.

Blinded by Brighter Headlights? It’s Not Your Imagination.

He and other officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the classified findings in the report.

Russia has been investing heavily in hypersonics, believing the technology offers it the ability to evade American missile-defense technology. China has also developed hypersonic weaponry, and included it in military parades. If the phenomena were Chinese or Russian aircraft, officials said, that would suggest the two powers’ hypersonic research had far outpaced American military development.

Navy pilots were often unsettled by the sightings. In one encounter, strange objects — one of them like a spinning top moving against the wind — appeared almost daily from the summer of 2014 to March 2015, high in the skies over the East Coast. Navy pilots reported to their superiors that the objects had no visible engine or infrared exhaust plumes, but that they could reach 30,000 feet and hypersonic speeds.

Lt. Ryan Graves, an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot who was with the Navy for 10 years, told The New York Times in an interview, “These things would be out there all day.” With the speeds he and other pilots observed, he said, “12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.”

In late 2014, a Super Hornet pilot had a near collision with one of the objects, and an official mishap report was filed. Some of the incidents were recorded on video, including one taken by a plane’s camera in early 2015 that shows an object zooming over the ocean waves as pilots question what they are watching.

The Defense Department has been collecting such reports for more than 13 years as part of a shadowy, little-known Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program within the Pentagon. The program analyzed radar data, video footage and accounts provided by the Navy pilots and senior officers.

The program began in 2007 and was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate majority leader at the time. It was officially shut down in 2012, when the money dried up, according to the Pentagon. But Luis Elizondo, who ran the program at the time, said that he continued it until 2017. After the publication of a New York Times article later that year about the program and criticism from program officials that the government was not forthcoming about reports on aerial phenomena, the Pentagon restarted the program last summer as the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force.

The task force’s mission was to “detect, analyze and catalog” sightings of strange objects in the sky that could pose a threat to national security. But government officials said they also wanted to remove the stigma for service members who report U.F.O. sightings in the hope that more would be encouraged to speak up if they saw something. The goal, officials said, was to give authorities a better idea of what might be out there.

Last year, lawmakers inserted a provision in the Intelligence Authorization Act that said the government must submit an unclassified report on what it knows about U.F.O.s. That report is the one to be released this month.

Officials briefed on the report said it also examined video that shows a whitish oval object described as a giant Tic Tac, about the size of a commercial plane, encountered by two Navy fighter jets off the coast of San Diego in 2004.

In that incident, the pilots reported an interaction with the craft, which lasted for several minutes. At one point, the object peeled away, one of the pilots, Cmdr. David Fravor, later said in an interview with The Times. “It accelerated like nothing I’ve ever seen,” he said.

The report studies that incident, including the video that accompanied the interaction. The provenance of the object, the officials said, is still unknown.

The vast majority of examined incidents were not caused by U.S. advanced technology programs, the forthcoming report concludes. So what’s going on?

UFOs = long time well researched and reported sightings.
UAPs = A way to burry the UFOs with new name for searches and for the GOV'S to claim the phenomenon.

The U.S. Government's Long-Awaited UFO Report Is Here. Its Findings? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    4 June, 2021

The U.S. Navy pilots flying maneuvers in their F/A-18 Super Hornets in 2015 did not have to wait for yesterday’s leak of the classified government report on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP)—better known as UFOs—to know that they were seeing things they could not explain outside their windscreens. The objects were, yes, saucer-shaped, and they were bobbing, darting and changing directions with a speed and nimbleness that no known technology could manage.

“Look at that thing, dude!” one pilot shouted. “Oh my gosh. There’s a whole fleet of them. They’re going against the wind! The wind’s 120 knots [135 mph] west!”

Cockpit cameras captured what the crew was seeing, and in 2020, the Pentagon declassified the footage. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about what the crew saw that day was how unremarkable it was becoming. In the past 20 years, military pilots have made more than 120 sightings of objects with no apparent signs of conventional propulsion—no exhaust or contrails, and certainly no wings or fins.

In 2007, Congress established the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program Task Force, championed by then-Nevada Senator Harry Reid, charging the intelligence department with determining if the objects really are extraterrestrial in origin or—perhaps worse—advanced military technology being developed by China, Russia or other potential foes.

That program shut down for lack of funding in 2012. But the work resumed last year, when then-President Donald Trump signed a $2.3 trillion COVID-19 relief bill that also required the Pentagon to continue investigating UAPs and release its findings to the public.

That release is tentatively set for later this month, but the New York Times published a copy yesterday, and the conclusions are just enough to intrigue everyone and satisfy no one: There is no evidence that the UAPs are of extraterrestrial origin, but nor can that possibility be ruled out.

The report says definitively that the objects are not American military craft, but pointedly does not discount the possibility that they could belong to another earthly nation. Both Russia and China are known to be experimenting with hypersonic technology—vehicles and weapons that can move at five times the speed of sound or faster—and certainly the velocity of the objects seen by American pilots would be consistent with that kind of engineering.

But the suddenness with which the objects change directions would—or at least should—cause G-forces that would rip them (or their inhabitants) apart, and the length of time some of them remain aloft goes beyond what conventional fuel technology could support.

“These things would be out there all day,” one pilot told the Times. At the speeds at which the objects were moving, he added, “12 hours in the air is 11 hours longer than we’d expect.” Other objects sighted have done other extraordinary things, including diving from the air into the ocean and back out, once again at seemingly fatal speeds.

Those kinds of so-far inexplicable abilities have caught the attention of a lot of people who normally keep their distance from what could be seen as fringe beliefs.

“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are,” former President Barack Obama said May 17 on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

During her presidential campaign in 2016, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked about any classified data that might exist on UAPs and how she would handle it as President. “I want to open the files as much as we can,” she said.

“There’s enough stories out there that I don’t think everybody is just sitting in their kitchen making them up.” Senator Marco Rubio, a Florida Republican who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, is also on the record as wanting more information on UAPs.

But others with deep expertise in space-related matters are simply not persuaded that there is anything otherworldly to be found from investigating the UAP sightings.

“As Carl Sagan said some time ago, extraordinary claims require for their validation extraordinary evidence,” John Logsdon, founder and longtime director of George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute, said in an email to TIME.

“Apparently the government report says that there is no such evidence. So I continue to be agnostic about these phenomena, leaning strongly to thinking they are, one way or the other, of human origin.”

In the event that’s indeed the case, Logsdon believes that whatever the government learns will likely remain the government’s business. “If these observations are indeed related to highly classified national security activity,” he said, “I would not expect their origin to be revealed in an unclassified government report.”

More information will surely be forthcoming when the full report drops before the end of the month. But if Logsdon’s right, best to expect the unidentified aerial phenomena to remain unidentified.

Quote IMO, disclosure already has been done by the tens of thousands of firsthand witnesses who have been abducted or contacted by ETs.
So TRUE TrumanCash. Do you think there are people ie contactees that KNOW in-depth the QUESTIONS most people including the Gov/military/black ops are wanting to know? Do you find it interesting the UAPs have not tried to communicate with Gov, Navy, black ops, etc? If you were an advanced species visiting here would you want to talk with the varied nations military?
    Thanks, mojo.

Q 1: I think the military secret ops pretty much know everything by now. Many years ago Bill Cooper said he read gov docs that said ETs created religions and secret societies and Bob Lazar said he read they created religions so I think they know even a lot more now. In fact they appear to be implementing the Anunnaki/Reptilian 1984-style "Great Reset" agenda so they're probably one big happy blood sacrificing, baby eating death cult. I mean, check out the Fauci family coat of arms.

Q2: I have no data on that but assume anything the gov says is a lie with a hidden agenda.

Q3: F*ck no. I would rather help the good people of Earth conduct the Nuremberg II trials asap.

UAP or UFO -- potato or potahto -- Either way they're still using the word "Unidentified". Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! That is so funny to me.

I Found this line worth pointing out from the Time article.

"if the objects really are extraterrestrial in origin or—perhaps worse—advanced military technology"

"Perhaps worse" ! Sounds like their not playing the "Aliens" as quiet the bad guys I thought they would.

They will get their military dollars just in case, whilst at the same time government sanctioned "serious research" can be undertaken to slowly disclose.

    from Paul Craig Roberts/

    Søren Roest Korsgaard

During the second quarter of 2021, the mainstream press across the Western hemisphere has been stumbling upon each other to inform us that aliens might exist and have visited us. A search for “UFO” on Google News yields numerous recent articles: “How UFO Sightings Went From Conspiracy Theory To A Serious Government Inquiry,” “NASA chef says the agency is investigating UFOs,” “If UFOs are aliens, Obama hopes humanity would find ‘common ground,’” “Defense Department confirms leaked Navy UFO video,” “She´s a fighter pilot who saw a UFO. For Real,” “Chris Reed: The government says UFOs are real. What´s next?” “Opinion: That UFOs are real is easy to see,” and on and on. Across the Atlantic, we see a similar interest in the subject by the mainstream press and science commentators.

For decades, the UFO policy of the press was generally to stigmatize, humiliate, and put UFO researchers in the conspiracy theory domain; this is true regardless of whether you found yourself in Europe, US, Asia, or anywhere else. In past years, we experienced a psychological operation to discredit UFO believers and reject the idea of “extraterrestrial visitors” without investigation, despite an abundance of reports such as the 1947 UFO crash near Roswell, New Mexico.

There have been some courageous scientists who have risked their careers by taking extraterrestrials seriously, such as nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman and Apollo 14 Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell. I will not tax the readers with a dissertation of evidence for the existence of extraterrestrials, as such is readily available.

Dr. Steven Greer´s movie, “Unacknowledged: An Expose of the World´s Greatest Secret,” contains numerous credible sources, like high ranking military men, former intelligence operatives, and scientists coming clean about extraterrestrials visiting Earth and their strong interest in nuclear facilities and weaponry.

Governments have extensive knowledge of the UFO phenomenon and technology, but why the 180 degree turn from tinfoil hat to officially admitted phenomena? Why the sudden about face?

Obviously, flying saucers have been mustered in support of an agenda. One possible agenda is that an alien threat is a new reason for increasing the military/security complex budget. The militarization of space can be justified by the extraterrestrial threat and disguise US preparation of an attack on Russia and China. Will there be some kind of false flag “alien attack” to bring the public into compliance?

A story could be borrowed from science fiction that some malevolent alien species has camouflaged themselves as humans, from which flows the justification for implementing all kinds of state-of-the-art mass surveillance technology and devices, in addition to a more global and widespread roll out of artificial intelligence intended to disempower people. In 2011, the Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman stated that the world needed “an alien invasion” in order to fix the financial crisis: “If we discovered that space aliens were planning to attack, and we needed a massive build-up to counter the space alien threat, and inflation and budget deficits took secondary place to that, this slump would be over in 18 months.”

The new UFO reporting and government reports could be used to heighten fears of Russian and Chinese military developments. A June 2021 New York Times article states that “Intelligence officials believe at least some of the aerial phenomena could have been experimental technology from a rival power, most likely Russia or China.” Julian E. Barnes and Helene Cooper, the authors of the article, emphasize that the US is falling behind rival powers: “One senior official briefed on the intelligence said without hesitation that U.S. officials knew it was not American technology. He said there was worry among intelligence and military officials that China or Russia could be experimenting with hypersonic technology. … Russia has been investing heavily in hypersonics, believing the technology offers it the ability to evade American missile-defense technology. China has also developed hypersonic weaponry, and included it in military parades. If the phenomena were Chinese or Russian aircraft, officials said, that would suggest the two powers’ hypersonic research had far outpaced American military development.”

The sudden elevation of tinfoil hats to legitimacy is a two-edged sword. Now that UFOs are officially acknowledged, will other claims, such as those by former Canadian Minister of Defense Paul Hellyer be considered?

Personally, I would be relaxed more than alarmed by extraterrestrials keeping an eye on us. They haven’t used their superior technology to dominate us. It is all to the best if they decide we can’t be trusted with nuclear weapons any more than children should be able to play with matches and take them away from us. As Washington has proved incapable of maintaining good relations with Russia and China, the extraterrestrials could perform the adult role.

So now we have CLINTON copying OBAMA. That's 2 Ex - Presidents. (Saying UFOs are REAL).

If they can prevent BIDEN from running off stage, we could have a sitting President. (Saying UFOs are REAL).

    The "SILLY GAME" continues....

We've got this subject you were forbidden from talking about for decades ....
But now we want you to talk about it ....
    Carry on, children ....

Seriously, Are we supposed to respect these people ??? - It's PATHETIC !

Let's add a few data points. Jacque Vallee worked with Robert Bigelow involving Skin Walker Ranch and other related UFO material. We recently learned in episode 5 of the TV series that Colonel John Alexander & Bigelow did not come to any conclusions what the phenomenon behind the Ranch is. Garry Nolan geneticist at Stanford and friend of mine and friend of Jacques also mentioned that they didnt know who or what was behind the UAPs. Jacques was asking me what I thought which shocked me...

It seems to me that the species of ET is more varied and numerous than previously thought. And so in the past humans made contact with one type but did not know anything about other species. Which makes sense to Jacques reply.
