GOP senators release 'shocking' new images from border; 'The Five' react (9:45)

Jesse Watters: These pictures are sad. They’re preventable. It’s not the US's role to accept every single teenager in the western hemisphere that sets foot on our soil or every adult who grabs a teen in Mexico and sets foot on our soil. This is cruelty. Joe Biden is aiding and abetting human slavery done by the drug cartels.

Every single picture that you see has paid a coyote. And if they don't have the cash up front, they have to work off the debt here in the United States. They do that through drugs, prostitution or slave labor. And when they work off the debt, they go work off more debt for US companies. Wealthy individuals who run hotels and have estates that again is another form of indentured servitude. Joe Biden should be ashamed of himself. He supports this type of behavior.

Jen Psaki, White House press secretary: I’m sure you're not suggesting that we have children right next to each other in ways that are not Covid safe are you?"

Katie Pavlich: When we were asking about this surge and here you are on your screen looking at people sitting, laying side by side overcrowded. And it's just an interesting question for the White House press team because in the age of information this was inevitably going to happen when you have senators, republicans going to the border who have connections inside of CBP who have been set up to fail by the administration.

By the way, we’re going to eventually see these photos and yet the White House has been lying to us about the situation and at some point Americans have their own eyes and ears and they can see exactly what's going on. And the messaging becomes insulting and they can clearly see that the White House has not been honest with them about what is actually happening especially after Biden's press conference yesterday.

Greg Gutfeld: And if you want to talk about inhumane, you heard these senators and we've heard many other people including democratic congressmen say what they're seeing that these kids and these families are going through on the way getting here is anything but humane.

I kind of like the fact that in order to get the media to cover a story you got to send like half the senate and short sleeve gap shirts and night vision goggles. We should probably be doing this with other stories like how do we deal with the homeless in the in all of our downtown cities? How are we dealing with the crime in our downtown cities? Maybe we should be sending senators there and then maybe the media might cover that outrageous stuff.

Now politicians are doing the jobs that the media won't do. The media should be taking these pictures not senator Ted Cruz or Senator Langford. Joe Biden and the media have this twisted arrangement where Joe Biden takes away their first amendment, takes away the freedom of the press and then the media pretends to care.

I echo Mike's sentiments. It would be great if you could record these interactions you have and put them up online. I wish I were your neighbor so I could help. Do you have security cameras? If not I wouldn't mind contributing to a go fund me or something to help you buy some.

At this rate Trump really isn't going to have to try hard to get back in office.
I have security cameras all over the property. Hooked to the internet so I can see what is happening real time. My neighbors do as well. Yesterday one of the neighbors put up alarms as well so if someone crosses a fence line we will know.

Last night I watched at least 50 people cross. I watched them read the signs, some had enough sense to turn around and go the way they came. Others just keep coming and yes they are confrontational. One actually told me that according to our President they are owed.......

I am afraid this situation is going from bad to worse, sooner or later a conflict will happen that will result in loss of life.
Dear Karen, so glad you have some back up on the property and thank you for your reports that let us know what is really happening.

It does appear this situation is being allowed to escalate, creating what we are seeing unfolding. Do you think "they" are waiting for the public to ask for military intervention, or just continuing to erode and destroy peoples way of life, chaos, to bring in the planned reset? Stay safe, our thoughts are with you.

    Mod post from Bill:

I've just copied 23 posts from Here and Now...What's Happening? to start this new thread. The standalone topic is clearly important, timely and needed.

(Technical note: because I copied them and didn't move them, the 'Thanks' stay with the original posts. So that's why all the Thanks may appear threadbare just for the moment.)

Karen, please stay safe and use extreme caution. If people are willing to steal your car and belonging then they are capable of much more.

There are not many world problems that you can point to and say one person is responsible but in this case, Biden's words and actions caused this problem. Immigration has ceased to exist at the southern border, it has turned into a free for all. When you try to find numbers on how many people are getting in without being detected you run into a brick wall. Some sources say about half are being caught and other sources say only one in four are getting caught. The truth is no one actually knows.

The crisis at the border is deliberate and intentional. It is immigration without compassion and has caused an untold number of murders, rapes, and child molestations. Recent reports say the cartels are making $14 million a day trafficking humans. Another unspoken human tragedy are the people trying to immigrate legally. The USA takes in more legal immigrants (more than a million) every year more than any other country on the planet. Resources are spread so thin the process is completely bogged down. Outside of war there is no faster way to bring a country to its knees than illegal immigration. Again this is calculated and deliberate. It could be stopped in one week if Biden and his political allies wanted it to stop.

The holding facilities are at full capacity, the Dallas Convention center houses 3000 immigrants, tent cities are being set up and temporary makeshift holding facilities are underway. Biden has issued a media blackout on reporting and photos from these facilities and the media plays along as if it is not a crisis. Biden tells the citizens that this is normal. The media's behavior and Biden's blatant lies are nothing more than the mass brainwashing of US citizens. At the very least it is a concerted effort to manipulate the public.

The riots of last summer caused more than 40 murders and death, billions of dollars of damage to city infrastructures have occurred, countless small businesses were destroyed and it made no difference if the businesses were minority-owned. Cities have burned, cancel culture is in full swing and immigration is not being enforced and election law is being federalized. Big tech has already put a lid on free speech. In a sense, the states are being neutered and the Constitution is receding into the background. All this is being condoned and encouraged by the new Democrat Party. Most people haven't opened their eyes to the reality they are living through and the massive changes that have already taken place in American politics.

I remember when the other "crisis" happened years ago, i had a few kitchen items that a friend asked to borrow for a few weeks, so we lended them (like pressure cookers and other stuff like that, and a small portable stove we had)

Later on we found out my 'friend' and other guys were renting a cheap hotel, all rooms at once, to host immigrants, so they needed our stuff to prepare food for them, when we asked he said "we just get some cash every week and we have to feed and hold them here for a couple weeks, then they move and another group comes. It's easy money and everything is paid, we make around $1000 a week just to keep them around"

So i wondered, who pays a thousand dollars a week to keep those people in check, clearly not the immigrants since they obviously don't have the money. So someone with big pockets was doing that because we are not talking about 50 people at all, there were thousands and thousands going through the city, you could see them in other hotels or cheap places, or on the streets sleeping on parks, and if you get paid 1000 a week for a group of 30/50 people... how much money was being moved then?

That was a very well organized operation, they would get to the hotel, spend two weeks, move to the next city and another group would arrive, all food paid/hosting/travel plus what the care takers would receive per week. He never said who was giving the money or anything, just he knew he would get it. And lots of people did the same thing, in their own homes sometimes, "money is money" and if you are poor well how not to accept 200 dollars a week for letting 20 people sleep on your backyard or whatever?

Maybe there were other immigrant groups that were not in this thing, but i have seen with my own eyes that there was at least some kind of organized operation going on. And it was not something random, it was happening all over the place, lots money flowing around

That's a very good question. My bet is on Soros, who bankrolled mass illegal immigration into Europe in 2015 and thereafter through "NGOs".

Well now I know why our worthless Gov. Abbott cannot do anything about the border. He is too busy trying to give everyone the poison vaccine.

Wow, so much for freedom of the press.
Very honestly, i found this a bit hypocritical. That guy Ted Cruz doesn't have any limits on causing suffering to the exact same people when they are on Venezuela for example, supporting sanctions that caused the economy of that country to go down by 90+% over the years, which causes deaths and suffering no one is even aware of, but once the exact same people are in US territory now they matter?

    Rights of what people?

Why doesn't he tell the American people what the US sanctions cause on those countries in the first place? Or why support the sanctions knowing very well what those will cause?

    Give me a break...

US foreign policy in Latin America has been shameful, going back a lot further than Venezuela. And I'm sure, as Confessions of an Economic Hitman points out, the US was at the beginning of Venezuela's problems. But Venezuela's embrace of Marxism was its own fault. Their professional class left, many to the US but legally, not over the Rio Grande. You can't blame a country for defending its border.

But maybe Latin America can take comfort in the fact that the corporations that laid siege to their countries are now doing the same thing to the US. And the invasion of poverty from the south is part of that siege.

Agreed they caused lots of their problems, but let's also remember they were doing very well and as soon as the US sanctions began, then everything started going wrong for them, what would happen if there were no sanctions in the first place? Would they be doing as bad? I don't think they would, so why impose the suffering then pretend it "just happened because of their bad choices"

Same thing that happened in Bolivia last year. Suddenly one of the countries with the most Lithium (if not the one with most) in the world, had a debt they could not pay, and started going down, just trying to pay interests on a ridiculous debt they did not need in the first place. They got rid of the debt and returned the money, now they are considered "undemocratic" because they don't need to be slaves to a debt no one asked for. But if they were in total debt, then "poor people of Bolivia, they need help"

It's easy to see the pattern and scheme to bring countries down, then we see the migrants start moving again, because their country is barren land now

Every country makes bad choices, but if you trip them and push them down as strong as you can and then pretend you did nothing and its all their fault, that's pure hypocrisy when you "lend a hand" or use their suffering to win political points back home

Stop tripping them off, then see what they can do on their own, and if they fail, then have a reason to say "See? Told you so"

In the case of Venezuela for example, see this

The engineers working on the oil fields and processing plants, left the country for the most part

It was said they left because "The government can't even pay them and it doesn't have resources to keep the plants running"

What was never said is: "US sanctions prevent any country from selling parts and machinery to keep those plants running, and any necessary materials are also forbidden to be sold to Venezuela by the sanctions, so the plants have to be shut down out of not being able to keep them running anymore"

No one sells them the parts/chemicals they need to keep things running, because of the sanctions

But we all know "the Venezuelan government is so useless they can't keep their engineers around, so they left to the US or other countries for better opportunities" as immigrants

    Yeah

Well folks I am moving. Being forced off my land by invaders, and now reading this it makes me feel like you are all BLAMING the US for the problems in South America. Which makes me very sad. You have no idea what is going on down here.

Good luck to you all when it happens to you.

I'm really sorry to hear this, that's very upsetting.

I'm going to look into this more. Time to start composing letters to officials, I don't know what else to do.

Maybe off topic but I'm so sick and tired of debating US politics as though we're the only country in the world who has done nasty things in the past that I generally don't do it anymore. The gall to ignore the intricate web of events in the world which drives policy and to conveniently leave out atrocities committed by other nations across the world is shortsighted, ignorant and annoying.

Karen, that’s unfortunate that you have to leave your farm, organic garden(s) and the foods you’ve forage in the forest. A sliver lining is you’ll no longer have to sleep with one eye open.

You’ve been through a lot since November with loosing your best friend, Blue.

    Godspeed, Sweet Lady. ♡

Dear Karen, Is it possible that you will be able to return, although that's probably not known right now? Will your home be protected in any way? I am so very sorry - truly, this is a tragic situation for you and others who are enduring this. My heart aches for you. Diane
