Default Plex- Free Streaming Content Site

A friend linked me this site which has a huge range of movies, shows, docs etc across many genres. it also has music and podcasts.

You do have to register and create an account with an email address but after that there is no messing around, stuff just plays though there are short ads before your selection starts.

    Currently enjoying this....
Quote The Cradle of Storms, a documentary film which follows Alex Gray, Josh Mulcoy, and Pete Devries through the Aleutian Arc of Alaska, highlighted by the discovery of one of the best cold-water slabs in the world.

Follow the crew as they traverse the island on quads, tracking pulses of swell to remote bays and never before surfed pointbreaks. Set against stunning volcanic backdrops and sweeping arctic landscapes, it is surf exploration at its finest.
    Radical

This is lined up next..... The site has a lot of B flicks, off-beat stuff if that floats your boat.

Quote Virus (復活の日, Fukkatsu no hi) (literal translation: Day of Resurrection) is a 1980 Japanese post-apocalyptic science fiction film directed by Kinji Fukasaku.[3][4] Based on Sakyo Komatsu's 1964 novel,[1] the film stars an international ensemble cast featuring Masao Kusakari, Sonny Chiba, George Kennedy, Robert Vaughn, Chuck Connors, Olivia Hussey, Edward James Olmos, Glenn Ford, and Henry Silva.

On its release, the film was the most expensive Japanese film ever made.

Also great for playing all types of media from other devices to your tv across your own network, and can download subtitles on the fly which my deaf ears find is great.

Don't think so ... I didn't anyway. It just worked with no account. Just streaming from the browser - no app is needed. In fact I installed the app, logged in with my google account and it only accesses like podcasts ... no TV or movies ... weird. EDIT: Ok just the "home theater" edition of the app has no movies and TV ... seems broken or old version ...

When you are one step ahead of the crowd, you are a genius.
Two steps ahead, and you are deemed a crackpot.

just discovered it! its great! was doing research on ME .. which i will continue to gather pieces til i exit this Orion planet or figure out how i landed here .. anyway one of my "leads" was "fred stewart" and in researching ALL "Fred Stewart" i came across an interesting tidbit on an IMBD that listed a FS in the cast list of the movie

Professor Marston & the Wonder Women

which turns out is the story of the creator of Wonder Woman .. to quote:

"The story of psychologist William Moulton Marston, and his polyamorous relationship with his wife and their mistress who would inspire his creation of the super heroine, Wonder Woman."

and i'm sitting here .. in complete bewilderment as i remember liking Wonder Woman so much and never "saw" any of the hidden messages of questionable themes for comic book whose target audience would be kids ... and i just wonder if my friends have been right all along and i really AM just naive after all since i never caught ANY of that ...

and it directed me to plex tv to watch it now here

so .. i'm going to watch it now and completely dismantle what i believed or thought i "knew" about an empowered woman heroine ... sigh ...

    but yes ... great site!

Many thanks Pueblo, will give this a look: YouTube has an impressive archive of films and documentaries (as we know) but being Big Tech they can be censorious!
