A couple of good short videos of injured Ukrainian soldiers sincerely thanking the Russian doctors for their medical treatment.

    Default Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia

A new SitRep from The Saker's blog, published a few minutes ago.
    NATO surrenders in Azovstal

(...thanks to Pepe Escobar for that prescient title)

Nazi Azovites – from rats in a hole to fish in a barrel – This is what denazification looks like!

The New York Times prevaricates as follows: Ukraine ended its “combat mission” in Mariupol and said fighters were being evacuated, signaling that the battle at a steel plant was over.
    https://nyti.ms/3sIon9B

Zelensky adds some Ukrainian/Cocainian dreams to that: “The evacuation mission from Azovstal continues. It is led by our military and intelligence officers.”

Dmitry Polyansky says it differently: “I didn’t know English has so many ways to express a single message: the #Azovnazis have unconditionally surrendered.”

Nightfall did not stop the surrender process. Ukrainians are still surrendering in crowds without stopping. Sufficient forces to deal with this are on the terrain and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the DPR are kicking ass and taking prisoners.

Illumination rockets are constantly launched into the sky, which at least somehow facilitates the crawling out of underground inhabitants

These invincible heroes are emaciated, ragged, hungry and a pitiful sight.

Donetsk Defense HQ – 962 Azovites surrendered and the process continues. In the meantime, 11 servicemen of the 25th airborne brigade and seventeen of the 54th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine voluntarily laid down their arms and went over to the side of the DPR. We hope this is the start of a mass surrender.

This is denazification and movies will be made and books will be written. After this major loss of prestige, expect a doozy of a false flag.

Starting point today is the MoD report and somewhat reformatted for ease of use.

    — Over a day, high-precision air-based missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces have hit
    • 2 command posts, including the territorial defense headquarters near Soledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic,
    • as well as 31 areas of concentration of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment, including locations of foreign mercenary units from European countries in Nikolaev and Krasnogorovka.
    • In addition, 2 Ukrainian Su-24 aircraft have been destroyed at a military airfield near Dnepropetrovsk, 1 division of Ukrainian S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems near Nikolaev, as well as 4 ammunition depots for missile and artillery weapons and ammunition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Ugledar, Pokrovskoe, Soledar and Bakhmut, Donetsk People’s Republic.
    — Operational-tactical and army aviation have hit
    • 3 command posts,
    • 41 areas of concentration of AFU manpower and military equipment, as well as
    • 1 ammunition depot near Ugledar, Donetsk People’s Republic.
    • The attacks have resulted in the elimination of more than 270 nationalists and up to 54 armoured and motor vehicles.
    — Missile troops and artillery have hit
    • 76 command posts,
    • 421 areas of manpower and military equipment concentration, as well as
    • 147 artillery and mortar units at firing positions, including
    • 1 Ukrainian battery of US-made 155mm M777 howitzers near Pogornoe.
    • 1 pontoon crossing point equipped by Ukrainian Armed Forces to cross the Severskyi Donets River has been destroyed near Protopopovka, Kharkov Region.
    — Russian air defence means have shot down
    • 1 Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft over Tripolie, Donetsk people’s republic.
    • 1 Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 has been shot down near Kamennaya Yaruga, Kharkov Region.
    • 15 Ukrainian UAVs have been shot down near Semenovka, Velikie Prokhody, Balakleya, Malye Prokhody, Velikaya Kamyshevakha in Kharkov Region, Rudnichnyi, Grabskoe, Staromikhailovka, Volnoe in Donetsk People’s Republic, Belyaevka, Chernobaevka in Kherson Region.
    • 8 Ukrainian Smerch multiple-launch rockets have been also intercepted near Kamenka and Malaya Kamyshevakha, Kharkov Region.
Not too shabby for a day’s work. And they will repeat it, and repeat it, and rinse, and repeat it again.

Secrets from Azovstal and surroundings are beginning to be revealed. There will be many!
    • How the OSCE mission cooperated with the Azov terrorists.
    • The filming crew of IA “Arbelet” was the first to visit the territory where the OSCE mission in Mariupol was located. Among other valuable finds, they found two mortar positions, equipped directly near the mission’s administrative building. The mortars themselves and their ammunition are of Italian origin, as evidenced by the markings. Another noteworthy fact: the last delivery of the Italian BC is dated March 11, 2022.
    • Do ordinary Italians know that their authorities are helping outright terrorists of the national battalions? How will the OSCE comment on the fact that they were in clear collusion with the terrorists, allowing “Azov” to fire from their territory? How, after these facts, will the OSCE be able to clean up their reputation at all?
(Sidebar: Do you now understand why Russia is leaving international organizations? Simple, these organizations are corrupt to the extent that they cannot be reformed but they have to be broken. Mr Lavrov today is meeting with SCO Secretary-General Ming where new structures are being built.)

Update from Brian Berletic: He views the canoodling from western sources and he hoists them on their own petard. Do take a listen, specifically Brian’s explanation of how the Russian command and soldiers keep certain areas ‘fixed’.

Here is another example of such a ‘fix’. The Russian army attacked Ukrainian defense facilities in the Odessa region with precision weapons from the Black Sea. This information is confirmed by the Ukrainian operational command “South”.
    https://t.me/intelslava/29149
(Sidebar: Today in Odessa – On this day “Russian Spring”
May 18, 2014 – “Odessa is a Russian city”, “Donbass – we are with you” – such slogans sounded at the House of Trade Unions in Odessa.
Hundreds of protesters with Russian flags and banners of the Victory came out not only to honor the memory of those killed in the May 2 tragedy, but also to show the Ukrainian Nazis that Odessans are Russian people who are not afraid of the Kyiv punishers.)
Is the Russian SMO beginning to touch hearts and minds? Remember the stories that Russia underestimated the willingness of the Ukrainian people to support the denazification.
Telescoping into the current pic on a map we see that cauldrons do not come in ones any longer but in threes:

    Readovka on the fronts

Kharkiv Front. The fighting in the area of Kazachya Lopan and the village of Liptsy is of a positional nature. The enemy in the area of Ternovka reached the border MASS MEDIA: Ukrainian Armed Forces have reached the Russian-Ukrainian border in Kharkiv region. Ukraine conducted a counterattack in the north-east of the Russian Federation, and is also probing the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of Volchansk. The Russian Armed Forces do not conduct active offensive operations in the Kharkiv direction.

On the Izyum part of the front, fighting continues in the area of Kamyshevakha, Kurulka and Dolgenky. The enemy continues to try to strain the flank of the Russian group to the north-west of Izyum, forcing the Seversky Donets. In the Slavic direction, the troops took Drobyshevo and Krasny Liman in a semicircle. The front also approached Svyatogorsk.

In the Luhansk-Donetsk part of the front, fighting continues in the area of Kamyshevakha, north of Popasna. There are also battles for Toshkovka. There are attempts to enter the flank and rear of the fortified area in Gorsky and Zolotoy. Fighting continues on the outskirts of Severodonetsk, as well as to the west of Lisichansk in the area of Privolye and Belogorovka. According to unconfirmed reports, Russian troops occupied the town of New York.

On the Zaporozhye part of the front without any special changes. An attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack in the area of Malinovka ended in failure and heavy losses. The battles here are of a positional nature all the way from Gulyai-Pole to Velikaya Novoselovka. The enemy is moving part of the reserves from the Zaporizhia direction to the Donbass, where the situation for the Severodonetsk group is rapidly deteriorating. Heavy fighting continues in the area of Novomikhailovka and Ugledar.

On the Southern Front, the development of the offensive is not yet taking place. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are waiting for the landing of Russian troops in the Odessa region and are working on mining the entire coast. In the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih directions, the Ukrainian command is accumulating forces to uncover weaknesses in the Russian positions.

On arrival, it is already traditional – the APU shelled Petrovsky district Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled Petrovsky district of Donetsk. The shell hit the school grounds Donetsk, a shell hit the school territory. The Ukrainian side also shelled the outskirts of Kherson, which resulted in the death of one civilian.

smoothiex12.blogspot.com (Andrei Martyanov) is correct when he says that the only battle that the Ukrainians know, is the battle taught to them by their NATO advisors, which is to shell civilian territory and hide behind civilians.

The battlefront is still in a relatively chaotic state, but Russia is now forming and shaping it.

Let’s take a look at Martyanov’s levels of war as we can categorize from this handy depiction:

Finland and Sweden formally submit applications to join NATO – currently, it is harassment but may well move up the scale to major operations. We cannot say where Russia will stop.

    Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov:
“Ukraine… No one wants Ukraine. They are an expendable country in this hybrid war against Russian Federation. No one has doubts any more”.
The language from Russian sources has changed and they now say clearly that Ukraine is a tool and the fight is against Russia by the West.

    Weapons

Russian self-propelled howitzers “Msta-S” and “Acacia-M” are being put to good use and they destroy armored vehicles and fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Distance of fire is up to 30 km and they use high-explosive fragmentation projectiles that can destroy buried concrete fortifications of the enemy.
    https://t.me/intelslava/29140

Incoming weapons. On the Polish-Ukrainian border, seven South African-made Mamba Mk2 EE armored vehicles transferred to Ukraine by Estonia as military assistance were seen. These vehicles were specifically produced for the Estonian army.

We have to conclude if we can see these armored vehicles via telegram channel on the Polish border, then the Russian forces can see them too. And ditto for all other incoming weapons.

There are smaller reports of new Russian artillery weapons appearing in the field of battle, but it is limited as yet.

    Major Fail, other than war.

Washington failed to get the summit with the ASEAN countries to condemn Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

ASEAN nations are Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines.

Another failure of freezing funds: Switzerland released $6.33 billion of Russia’s frozen funds.

    We end with biolabs

Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyanskiy gives key takeaways from the last UN Security Council meeting on US biolabs in Ukraine:
    1. The US refuses to explain its engagement in military bio activities in Ukraine. Keeps shrugging off several hundred pages of evidence. “These are all lies and Russia’s propaganda, and we are good guys because it can’t be otherwise”. Not a word on the point of discussion.
    2. Western delegations are praising the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) and calling on us to make use of its mechanisms. They fail to mention however that it is the US who is blocking the elaboration of BWC verification mechanism. Such a hypocricy!
    3. The US refuses to explain why it doesn’t want an effective international verification mechanism for bio weapons. Why act like this unless you are trying to conceal something? Why does Washington position itself above the international law? American exceptionalism at its best.
Main conclusion: we have definitely hit their soft spot. It’s clear for any unbiased observer that they are obscuring the issue and trying to divert attention from this uncomfortable topic trying to discourage us to raise it by repeating mantras on “Russian aggression” etc.

So stay tuned, there’s more evidence on US military biological programs to follow!

Top level headline in China’s Global Times today: ‘Neo-Nazism’ poisons Ukraine, Europe under US, West’s connivance

That is it for today. Be careful with the Ukraine propaganda. It is everywhere.

Russian Peresvet laser system destroys combat UAVs in five seconds

Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov announced the supplies of Peresvet military laser systems to the Russian Armed Forces.

Russian Peresvet laser system destroys combat UAVs in five seconds
According to Borisov, the new laser weapon destroyed a drone at a distance of 5 kilometres in five seconds. In the coming decades, the Russian Armed Forces will get other weapons based on new physical principles, he added.

On May 17, Russia tested a laser capable of burning drones at a distance of 5 km, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said at the New Horizons marathon.

"Our physicists have developed and proceeded to the serial production of powerful laser systems that enable thermal destruction of various means,” he said.

The Peresvet combat laser complex can disable all satellite reconnaissance systems of a potential enemy in orbits up to 1,500 km.

According to Borisov, in the coming decades, the Russian troops will receive new models of weapons "based on new physical principles," including laser weapons.

In December 2020, Deputy Defense Minister Aleksey Krivoruchko said that Russia was developing laser weapons against UAVs and a radio frequency system that would be able to strike electronic equipment of unmanned aerial vehicles.

In 2019, President Vladimir Putin suggested that tactical combat laser systems that until recently were only described in science fiction stories would largely determine the potential of the Russian army and navy in the coming decades. The same year, Peresvet complexes were put on combat duty.

So goes the mess. Azov's offer of trade for enough food to last them maybe a few weeks, has played out before we get to see what they do with their bonus time.

Nice way to screw up the human race, guys.

It will be a new memorial park.

There sure do seem to be "sides" here, as it has been said Russia cannot work with almost any western organization--they are so corrupt, they have to be broken. Never mind that "mountains of evidence" are "allegations not worthy of response". There is something very dumb here. On the one hand, I still am trying to see exactly how Russian racism seems to have penetrated the early British Empire. On the other, who are we dictating nonsense to?

We have gotten a few versions of the Russian view that most of our bad blood comes from the division called The Great Schism of 1054, which has led to waves of invasions from the west.

Not a lot has been said about the "how" or what came together to make a "Russian view". "Rus" as a culture has mostly to do with Varangians, i. e. Scandinavians, forming a power center around Kiev. It is correct that this is what eventually clashed with the Kharazian Empire. Firstly, one of the antecedents murdered several of his own family members and started wars with a certain kind of foreign assistance, this is just going from some Wiki snippets:

Sviatoslav (r. 963-972), continued to worship Perun and other gods of the Slavic pantheon. He remained a stubborn pagan all of his life; according to the Primary Chronicle, he believed that his warriors would lose respect for him and mock him if he became a Christian.

After losing power he tried to get back:

The battle took place in 1016 not far from Lubech, near the Dnieper river. Sviatopolk was defeated and fled to Poland.

In 1018, he returned to Rus', defeated Yaroslav with help from his father-in-law and seized Kiev. Bolesław of Poland and his army remained in Rus' for several months, but later returned to Poland, seizing some Cherven towns on the way.

Meanwhile, the posadnik Konstantin Dobrynich and other citizens of Novgorod persuaded Yaroslav to go to war against Kiev once again. Sviatopolk was defeated and fled to the steppes. Soon he returned with the Pecheneg army and attacked Yaroslav on the Alta River, but was once again defeated and fled to Poland, dying on his way there in July of 1019.

Obviously it was a pagan culture, whereas:

North Pontic Greek colonies, both in Crimea and on the modern Ukrainian shores of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, remained the main centers of Christianity in Eastern Europe for almost a thousand years.

There were St. Andrew and a few others who had extended missions, but none of those efforts had made any kind of lasting stable existence, until it was one of Svyatoslav's sons who then converted to Christianity:

Originally a follower of Slavic paganism, Vladimir converted to Christianity in 988 and Christianized the Kievan Rus'.

Born in 958, Vladimir was the natural son and youngest son of Sviatoslav I of Kiev by his housekeeper Malusha. Malusha is described in the Norse sagas as a prophetess who lived to the age of 100 and was brought from her cave to the palace to predict the future. Malusha's brother Dobrynya was Vladimir's tutor and most trusted advisor. Hagiographic tradition of dubious authenticity also connects his childhood with the name of his grandmother, Olga of Kiev, who was Christian and governed the capital during Sviatoslav's frequent military campaigns.

For a bird's eye view of this state and his long-term effect:

According to the Primary Chronicle, the first ruler to start uniting East Slavic lands into what would become Kievan Rus' was Prince Oleg (879–912). He extended his control from Novgorod south along the Dnieper river valley to protect trade from Khazar incursions from the east, and moved his capital to the more strategic Kiev. Sviatoslav I (943–972) achieved the first major expansion of Kievan Rus' territorial control, fighting a war of conquest against the Khazars. Vladimir the Great (980–1015) introduced Christianity with his own baptism and, by decree, extended it to all inhabitants of Kiev and beyond.

It finally fell to the Mongol invasion of the 1240s, though the Rurik dynasty would continue to rule parts of Rus' until the 14th century in the Kingdom of Galicia–Volhynia and until the 16th century after the establishment of the Tsardom of Russia.

So Rurik (father of Oleg) is Varangian and the dynasty held power from pre-Russia until the time of the Tsars.

...two of Rurik's men, Askold and Dir, asked him for permission to go to Tsargrad (Constantinople). On their way south, they discovered "a small city on a hill," Kiev, captured it and the surrounding country from the Khazars, populated the region with more Varangians, and "established their dominion over the country of the Polyanians.

The Chronicle reports that Askold and Dir continued to Constantinople with a navy to attack the city in 863–66, catching the Byzantines by surprise and ravaging the surrounding area...

The attack was the first encounter between the Rus' and Byzantines and led the Patriarch to send missionaries north to engage and attempt to convert the Rus' and the Slavs.

The new Kievan state prospered due to its abundant supply of furs, beeswax, honey and slaves for export, and because it controlled three main trade routes of Eastern Europe.

    By becoming a Christian power:

The Christianization of Rus firmly allied it with the Byzantine Empire. The Greek learning and book culture was adopted in Kiev and other centres of the country. Churches started to be built on the Byzantine model.

But the only surviving work of lay literature, The Tale of Igor's Campaign, indicates that a degree of pagan worldview remained under Christian Kievan Rus'.

Vladimir I had a similar experience to the king of Khazaria in comparative analysis of religions:

During the first decade of Vladimir's reign, pagan reaction set in. Perun was chosen as the supreme deity of the Slavic pantheon and his idol was placed on the hill by the royal palace. This revival of paganism was contemporaneous with similar attempts undertaken by Jarl Haakon in Norway and (possibly) Svein Forkbeard in Denmark. His religious reform failed. By the late 980s, he had found it necessary to adopt monotheism from abroad.

The Primary Chronicle reports that, in the year 986, Vladimir met with representatives from several religions. The result is amusingly described in the following apocryphal anecdote. Upon the meeting with Muslim Bulgarians of the Volga, Vladimir found their religion unsuitable due to its requirement to circumcise and taboos against alcoholic beverages and pork; supposedly, Vladimir said on that occasion: "Drinking is the joy of the Rus." He also consulted with Jewish envoys (who may or may not have been Khazars), questioned them about Judaism but ultimately rejected it, saying that their loss of Jerusalem was evidence of their having been abandoned by God.

In the year 987, as the result of a consultation with his boyars, Vladimir sent envoys to study the religions of the various neighboring nations whose representatives had been urging him to embrace their respective faiths. Of the Muslim Bulgarians of the Volga the envoys reported there is no joy among them; only sorrow and a great stench. In the gloomy churches of the Germans his emissaries saw no beauty; but at Hagia Sophia, where the full festival ritual of the Byzantine Church was set in motion to impress them, they found their ideal: "We no longer knew whether we were in heaven or on earth," they reported, "nor such beauty, and we know not how to tell of it.

Foreign sources, very few in number, present the following story of Vladimir's conversion. Yahya of Antioch and his followers (al-Rudhrawari, al-Makin, Al-Dimashqi, and ibn al-Athir) give essentially the same account. In 987, the generals Bardas Sclerus and Bardas Phocas revolted against the Byzantine emperor Basil II. Both rebels briefly joined forces and advanced on Constantinople. On September 14, 987, Bardas Phocas proclaimed himself emperor. Anxious to avoid the siege of his capital, Basil II turned to the Rus' for assistance, even though they were considered enemies at that time. Vladimir agreed, in exchange for a marital tie; he also agreed to accept Christianity as his religion and bring his people to the new faith. When the wedding arrangements were settled, Vladimir dispatched 6,000 troops to the Byzantine Empire and they helped to put down the revolt.

The neighbors of Kievan Rus are a bit like Native Americans. As relatively small bands, they do not have any systems of laws by which to arbitrate disputes, and they are sort of condemned to fighting as a result. It is thought that is why they were open to a central authority.

Comparatively, for those who followed Perun and Veles, the national baptism was quite a forceful process, from decree, to fire, and sword. Violent revolts persisted until at least 1071. The Greek Church, per se, was Constantinople and the Black Sea, whereas Kiev is kind of the source of its own Crusade. This is in honor of Hagia Sophia as the apex of civilization.

The main drivers of the Schism which cause it to repudiate Rome are, mainly, Papal authority, and the subsequent idea that to have an opinion, a person must practice Hesychasm in order to gain Theoria or divine experience. Anyone's experience is basically equal. And so they operate much more like a confederacy, rather than central command of Rome.

Well, it was maybe a bit similar to Rome by doing forceful suppression of heretics or pagans, although the result is different. At this point we might notice that Jews, per se, have not been considered a problem in Russia or Iran. The word Pogrom entered the English language in 1882, which is misleading because through 1389, all the examples happened in western Europe. The way in which it became Russian is:

The brutal murders of Jews and Poles occurred during the Khmelnytsky Uprising of 1648–1657 in present-day Ukraine.

The Russian Empire, which previously had very few Jews, acquired territories in the Russian Partition that contained large Jewish populations, during the military partitions of Poland in 1772, 1793 and 1795. In conquered territories, a new political entity called the Pale of Settlement was formed in 1791 by Catherine the Great. Most Jews from the former Commonwealth were allowed to reside only within the Pale, including families expelled by royal decree from St. Petersburg, Moscow and other large Russian cities. The 1821 Odessa pogroms marked the beginning of the 19th century pogroms in Tsarist Russia; there were four more such pogroms in Odessa before the end of the century. Following the assassination of Alexander II in 1881 by Narodnaya Volya – blamed on the Jews by the Russian government, anti-Jewish events turned into a wave of over 200 pogroms by their modern definition, which lasted for several years. Jewish self-governing Kehillah were abolished by Tsar Nicholas I in 1844.

Professor Zvi Gitelman (A Century of Ambivalence) estimated that only in 1918–1919 over 1,200 pogroms took place in Ukraine, thus amounting to the greatest slaughter of Jews in Eastern Europe since 1648.

Then, of course, more Pogroms in WWII will provide an immigrant population for modern Israel. This cycle of Holocausts is like the Ukrainian national pasttime 1648-present.

In the midst of all this, you get the reincarnation of Turkish Donmeh Sabbateanism, Jacob Frank (1726-1791), who manages to split Judaism in Europe:

Frank rejected religious norms and said that his followers were obligated to transgress as many moral boundaries as possible. At its height it claimed perhaps 50,000 followers, primarily Jews living in Poland, as well as in Central and Eastern Europe.

There were numerous Jewish secret societies of Sabbateans (followers of Sabbatai Zevi), known as Donmeh, in Eastern Poland (now Ukraine), particularly in Podolia and Galicia, at the end of the seventeenth century.

In expectation of the great Messianic revolution, the members of these societies violated Jewish laws and customs. The mystical cult of the Sabbateans is believed to have included both asceticism and sensuality: some did penance for their sins, subjected themselves to self-inflicted pain, and "mourned for Zion"; others disregarded the strict rules of modesty required by Judaism, and at times were accused of being licentious. The Polish rabbis attempted to ban the "Sabbatean heresy" at the assembly at Lwów (now Lviv in Ukraine) in 1722. Still, they could not fully succeed, as it was widely popular among the nascent Jewish middle class.

Whereas Donmeh were Islamic crypto-Jews, Frank decided he had the same Trinity as the Christians and so he did indeed invent Judeo-Christianity:

The Sabbateans informed Mikołaj Dembowski, the Catholic Bishop of Kamieniec Podolski, Poland, that they rejected the Talmud and recognized only the sacred book of Kabbalah, the Zohar, which did not contradict the Christian doctrine of the Trinity. They stated that they regarded the Messiah-Deliverer as one of the embodiments of the three divinities.

The bishop took Frank and his followers (the "Anti-Talmudists", or "Zoharistic Jews") under his protection and in 1757 arranged a religious disputation between them and the rabbis of the traditionalist community. The Anti-Talmudists presented their theses, which began the intense dispute. The bishop sided in favour of the Frankists and also ordered the burning of all copies of the Talmud in Poland. 10,000 volumes were destroyed, which was a tremendous loss for the Jewish libraries of that era.

The baptism of the Frankists was celebrated with great solemnity in the churches of Lwów, with members of the Polish szlachta (nobility) acting as god-parents. The neophytes adopted the names of their godfathers and godmothers, and ultimately joined their ranks. Frank himself was baptized in Lwów (September 17, 1759) and again in Warsaw the next day, with King Augustus III as his godfather. Frank's baptismal name was "Joseph" (Józef). In the course of one year more than 500 individuals were converted to Christianity at Lwów, and nearly a thousand in the following year. By 1790, 26,000 Jews were recorded baptised in Poland.

Frank inspired his followers through mystical speeches and epistles, in which he stated that salvation could be gained only by first adopting the "religion of Edom" and later adopting a future religion which Frank called daas (daat, or Knowledge in Hebrew).

Some Frankists were active during the French Revolution, such as Moses Dobruška, a son of Frank's Sabbatian cousin in Offenbach Shendl Dobruska. Many of the Frankists saw Napoleon Bonaparte as a potential Messiah. The Frankists scattered in Poland and Bohemia eventually intermarried into the gentry and middle class. Maria Szymanowska, a piano virtuoso, came from a Frankist family. Wanda Grabowska, the mother of Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński, also descended from Frankists.

So perhaps his direct doctrine has kind of washed away, and it is the amoral "any religion" aspect which remains. This is something that it is easy to jump to conclusions over. It could be examined, for example, how close the mentality comes to the Bank of Prussia and subsequently Frankfurt and the eventual repetitive clashes on the French and German border. Perhaps less famously to Schleswig Holstein and the Danish border. It comes from things that were kind of thrown in the face of Catherine the Great. Something failed to penetrate Russia at that time, which, instead, can be found bouncing westward, and executing the very bloody maneuver Bank of Prussia ---> European Central Bank. This is on the heels of private and city bank wealth ---> Bank of England. It obviously is the assembly of a system, one way or another.

What we have found as a puerile British rage is pinned in that somehow. I still don't quite see how they would have gotten "everything against the Tsars" taken to heart simultaneously or in conjunction with the strange early phase of Ukraine. Possibly due to the German Hannovers?

By the 1700s in England you arguably can show "Jewish integration" whereas in east Europe it is a "Jewish problem", between which:

Rental of Hessian mercenaries to fight Americans = large part of original Rothschild wealth.

Half of those colonists were German, as if that system was something to escape from if you could.

But that is just an ethnicity or culture in many states, such as Prussia, Saxony, Bavaria, and so on, since the Holy Roman Empire did not remain intact.

Some people have tried to say that Frank's mentality rapidly gained control especially of the banking sector. It may have; I am still not quite sure about Russian prejudice unless Saxe-Coburg or Hannover might have done it. One can see that through regular battles against France, that no, the English would tend not to like the French, but Russia comes out of nowhere and suddenly is some kind of supreme bogeyman, at least in the minds of a few.

    Default Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia

Here's a very interesting 30 minute discussion on The Duran entirely about whether or not Russia might be advised to ramp up its Special Military Operation to a fully fledged war, given that the US and EU are pretty much waging a full-on proxy war with Russia right now.

Many watching all this may forget that Russia has only deployed a fraction of the military force that it has available in reserve. For instance, they could bring in their world-class supersonic bombers (the Tu-22 and Tu-160) and bomb the Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbass into oblivion. One imagines they could do that in 24 hours flat — if they wanted to.

And by mobilizing another million troops, they could quickly sweep across Ukraine all the way to Lviv — again, if they wanted to.

Alex and Alexander from The Duran note that Foreign Minister Lavrov and Prime Minister Medvedev are both more hawkish than Putin, who is really a moderate who comes from St Petersburg, Russia's most European city.

They speculate that Putin may be coming under some criticism within Russia (and from his own colleagues) because he's too soft and caitious, not because he's too cavalier and militant.

They reference an interesting video conversation from a few days ago, with Garland Nixon hosting Scott Ritter and Ray McGovern, a veteran military analyst who in his bearded great age and wisdom is now more like Obi-Wan Kenobi than anyone else around.

In that video, Scott Ritter expressed strong concern that the Russians were now going too slowly — not because they'd not succeed in their stated objectives, but because they're allowing too much time for the Ukrainians to be rearmed, and every day the US and NATO is mustering and organizing more support to turn all this into a second Vietnam. I'll not embed it in this post, but it's well worth listening to and the link is here.

    • Finland & Sweden Joining NATO Brings WW III Even Closer:

Reports have emerged that Scandinavian nations Finland and Sweden plan to break with their centuries-long tradition of neutrality to pursue membership in NATO. If the applications are successful, will this latest increase in NATO’s ranks create an increased deterrent to further war with Russia, or will it bring the world ever-closer to World War III?

In the sheer irony of who did what, many have said one of our recent shootings was to distract from things like the capitulation at Azovstal. As you may have guessed, another big surprise:

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - The US House of Representatives passed legislation to combat domestic terrorism in the wake of the mass shooting in Buffalo on Saturday by a white supremacist.

House lawmakers on Wednesday passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act of 2022 in a vote of 222-203.
The legislation, which has yet to make its way through the Senate, would establish domestic terrorism units within the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, and Justice Department. The bill would also create an interagency task force to analyze and combat white supremacist infiltration of the military and federal law enforcement.

Republicans in debate prior to the vote expressed concerns about the legislation's ability to target individuals for beliefs that may not be connected to domestic terrorism at all. The lawmakers expressed concerns about the bill's focus on white supremacist domestic terrorism, citing recent crimes and attacks involving left-wing and Black perpetrators.

Hold on. What? Homeland Security. Designed because of terrorism. Has not prevented any terrorist act. Needs a new unit??

An inter-agency task force on American white supremacy, snidely waving the Ukrainian sentiment under our noses??

    Make up your mind??

That shooter sounds perfectly Ukrainian. If you go down their list, after "Russians", you shortly get to "Blacks and Jews". It's not just political history or some minor white-appearance snobbery, they still hate everyone else other than them.

What does it mean when new legislation comes up within days after an occurrence?

Would anyone within a three hour drive of Buffalo like to say that white supremacy is not really a founding principle in your neighborhood?

Well, I would just like to denounce this crime as non-terroristic since, in order to qualify, it has to present a message, threat, or demand from a non-state actor, such as Azov. If you just shoot people it is just murder. Antifa made demands, retarded ones, but that qualifies. One of them was to tell you to vote Biden. Sounds like he is returning the favor.

So no...this was not in the combat theater but...interesting that fatal white supremacy might be ok in some places but not others.

From the Russian Ministry of Defence, reported by Sputnik News. The large numbers of fighters trapped underground which were earlier rumored (over 2,000, maybe 2,500) now seem to have been accurate.

1,730 Militants From Azovstal Surrendered, Including 80 Wounded, Since Monday - MoD

A total of 771 Ukrainian militants from the Azov neo-Nazi battalion (under criminal investigation in Russia), who had been trapped in the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol for many past weeks, have surrendered over the past day, Russian defence ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday.

"Over the past 24 hours, 771 militants of the nationalist Azov battalion trapped in the Azovstal plant in Mariupol have surrendered. In total, 1,730 militants have surrendered since May 16, including 80 injured," Konashenkov told reporters.

Scott Ritter, who's come under a lot of skeptical criticism after his apparent recent U-turn on the Ukraine situation (now concerned that the Russians are going too slowly and carefully in the light of greatly amplified US/NATO military aid), clarifies and explains his views in a 20-minute interview with Judge Napolitano published yesterday.

His stance (summarized by myself in one simple sentence) is that the "demilitarization" of Ukraine can't be achieved when new weapons are being poured into Ukraine as fast as they're being destroyed, with no end in sight — and this is sure to prolong the conflict to the benefit of no-one except the 'west'.

Scott Ritter was a guest last night on the Garland Nixon show and he basically said the same thing again that he doesn’t feel Russia can win this special mission with limited resources, though they’re accomplishing their mission now of demilitarization, denazification etc., but Ukraine keeps getting more arms and funding and he doesn’t feel that Ukraine can stop either because of the heavy backing it’s getting from NATO, US who are pushing this to continue. (My verbal description).
