Moscow to respond to Latvia’s expulsion of Russian diplomat, MFA says

Latvian Foreign Minister Krisjanis Karins earlier decided to declare a Russian diplomat persona non grata
MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. Moscow will respond to Latvia’s decision to expel a Russian diplomat, a Russian Foreign Ministry official told TASS.

"Russia will give an appropriate response," the official said.

Latvian Foreign Minister Krisjanis Karins earlier decided to declare a Russian diplomat persona non grata. The Latvian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the diplomat must leave the country by the end of the day on April 10.

    • Putin blames US and Ukraine for orchestrating ISIS terror attack on Moscow:

We know that the crime was committed by radical Islamists, whose ideology the Islamic world itself has been fighting for centuries. But we also see that the United States, through various channels, is trying to convince its satellites and other countries of the world that, according to their intelligence data, there is supposedly no Kiev trace in the Moscow terrorist attack, that the bloody terrorist attack was carried out by followers of Islam, members of the ISIS organization banned in Russia.

We know by whose hands this atrocity was committed against Russia and its people. We are interested in who the customer is. In the course of joint work between our intelligence services and law enforcement agencies, it is necessary to obtain answers to a number of questions.

For example: are radical and even terrorist Islamic organizations really interested in striking Russia, which today stands for a fair solution to the escalating Middle East conflict? And how do radical Islamists, who position themselves, by the way, as devout Muslims, professing so-called pure Islam, commit serious atrocities and crimes during the holy month of Ramadan for all Muslims?

These, as well as other, more specific, professional questions for an objective investigation of the crime committed in Moscow, have to be answered. One thing is absolutely clear: the terrible crime committed on March 22 in the capital of Russia is an act of intimidation, as I have already said.

And the question immediately arises: who benefits from this? This atrocity may be only a link in a whole series of attempts by those who have been fighting our country since 2014 at the hands of the neo-Nazi Kyiv regime. And the Nazis, as is well known, never disdained to use the most dirty and inhumane means to achieve their goals.

Especially today, when their advertised counter-offensive has completely failed. This is already recognized by everyone and is not disputed. The Russian Armed Forces hold the initiative along the entire line of combat contact, and all the measures taken by the enemy to stabilize the front do not bring success.

Hence the attempts to enter and gain a foothold in our border territories, shelling, including using multiple launch rocket systems, of peaceful neighborhoods, civilian infrastructure, including energy infrastructure, attempted missile attacks on the Crimean Bridge and the peninsula itself.

Bloody acts of intimidation, such as the terrorist attack committed in Moscow, quite logically fit into this series. The goal, as I already said, is to sow panic in our society and at the same time show our own population that all is not lost for the Kyiv regime.
No need to follow anyone, only consider broadening (y)our horizon of possibilities ...

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said that the World Bank will provide Kiev with a $1.5 billion budget replacement loan.

"The World Bank's Board of Executive Directors has approved a decision to provide $1.5 billion to Ukraine as part of a loan to support development policy. Of this amount, $984 million will come from Japan and $516 million from the UK," he said.

According to Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko, the funds will be used to support Ukraine's state budget and economic recovery, and to finance priority social and humanitarian expenditures of the state budget.

This sounds like news-speak perhaps best interpreted as "a loan to pay the other loan" (IMF).

I think it would be fair to say the two institutions are a bit like twin sharks prowling the tank.

I can't say I can fathom why such a robust amount would appear to come from Japan, or, if the Japanese know anything about the decision-making process either.

I believe the sharks will accept timely payments in lieu of asset seizure, if such is the long-term goal.

The post-conflict scenario is rather like the major stakeholders such as Cargill, etc., being relatively unaffected, and most everything else scrapped and firesold to creditors.

"Development" and "recovery" are two entirely inappropriate words written to mask the scent of Vultures.

Excerpts from Ambassador Gennady Gatilov’s opening statement during his briefing with members of ACANU (https://www.acanu.ch/index.html) (Association of Accredited Journalists at the UN)

    This, from March 26th:
On March 22, our country was hit by a terrorist attack, the scale and brutality of which Russia hasn’t seen for the past 20 years. 137 people confirmed dead and over 180 injured in the tragic events at the Crocus City Hall. We are grateful to the host country, UN high-ranking officials, fellow diplomats and ordinary Swiss citizens for expressing their sympathies, condolences and condemnation of the attack. As our President has stated, all perpetrators will face fair and inevitable punishment, whoever they may be, whoever directed them.

🗳️ During the recent presidential elections in Russia, the will of over 76 million of its citizens, 87% of whom voted for Vladimir Putin, is evident. We do not care that certain Western states consider the elections unfair - we have the statistics and numbers that say otherwise. The Russian people have expressed their unequivocal support and trust in the political and economic course of the country's development. Which, among other things, means that Russia will continue to uphold its sovereign and independent foreign policy and protect its citizens across all Russia and its new regions.

🇺🇦 The Ukrainian crisis could have been resolved in April 2022, until the Western mentors of Zelenskiy convinced him to pursue a violent path. A big miscalculation, which has already led to unnecessary loss of life, and one that will be the undoing of the Zelenskiy regime.

🇺🇳 As far as UN Geneva affairs are concerned, the current situation within the UN Human Rights Council continues to be especially disturbing. There is an urgent need to prevent the increasing trend of turning the Council into an instrument, which caters to political whims of just a single group of countries, punishing other governments for their independent domestic and foreign policies.

Placeholder ONLY post for this forthcoming documentary which we should really archive after its release:

    Source/website: https://filmsasiedzi.pl/

NEIGHBORS: Last Witnesses of the Ukrainian Genocide against Poles

    Background (excerpt)

    Trailer: https://filmsasiedzi.pl/film/zwiastun-filmu/

    From the director:
A documentary film is being made about the Ukrainian genocide against Poles in 1939-1947 and Banderism in the 21st century. Premiere of a documentary film directed by Jacek Międlar entitled "Neighbors. “The Last Witnesses of the Ukrainian Genocide against Poles” is scheduled for July 2024. The film will be publicly available and will be released in six languages: Polish, English, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Russian and Czech.

The Polish authorities, through tacit acceptance of Banderism, de facto legitimize the cult of murderers of Poles. This must end badly, because anyone who allows the victims' memory to be tarnished deserves neither respect nor to be treated seriously. It's high time that, in the era of permanent repetition of historical lies and attempts to "rewrite history", a film was created that would put the lie to all historical manipulations and falsifications.

I have several dozen original interviews with Witnesses of the Ukrainian genocide against Poles, which I conducted [author of the description: Jacek Międlar] in the years 2019-2024. I use fragments of these recordings in the production of the film, because I believe that the accounts of Witnesses are the most valuable evidence today in the case of the Ukrainian genocide against Poles, and it is to them, the Witnesses of these events, that we should give a voice in the first place. Moreover, the film includes, among others: it will include other archival materials and statements by experts (professors of history and political science), social activists and "rank and file" citizens.

The film is based on my book entitled "Neighbors. The Last Witnesses of the Ukrainian Genocide against Poles”, the next volumes of which I am still writing.

    With respect
    JACEK MIĘDLAR
