This year is fraught with extreme danger, says Pepe Escobar. But if the psychotic US deep-state planners can be contained by Russia and China without an all-out catastrophic war erupting then there is a chance of a more hopeful, peaceful and just world order emerging.

It, from my side of this entire thing, or my 'point of view', looks they these guys are finally starting to catch up with what happened in the past 30 years or so


Is not like they were not able to realize or discern. It is that they weren't looking, and they weren't looking because thy were looking somewhere else, where the immediate "set where the action happens' was set for people to look at


Take this, for example, there has been a few journalists covering Ukraine/Donbass for almost 9 years now, but basically no one knew about it, on either side (Good Ukraine/Bad Ukraine), but now, everyone was talking about it. It's still the media in control.


The war against the west vs the east has been going on forever, and let's not forget the one around US vs Japan and the propaganda around it




Nothing has changed, it's only the target at the time, the ones that are not compliant are the 'bad guys'

But now, we have a clown hired to play "The President" because he got a successful show where he also played president "for the people". He can't answer any question to a real journalist and he has a curated pre-prepared list of questions with rehearsed answers that he happily goes through with the voice if his character, but no real entity exists behind that ridiculous facade of a "leader", so he has to kill, take down or otherwise "dismiss" his opponents who know who he truly is. The Instagram account of "Oleksiy" was blocked all around Ukraine, and he has been summoned to answers a very difficult "i'm not a traitor" conversation from which he will most likely not truly make it out, at least without leaving a very high price behind

So, How did Ukraine government controlled this kind of blocking across the entire country?

1. They asked Instagram to block the entire IP range for Ukraine on that single account
2. They asked all the ISPs in Ukraine to block that account if the url was requested

But, we see that if you go to that page now, you get a message back from Instagram. So that means, Instagram followed instructions from the Ukraine government to disallow access to that page

This is coming from a "freedom and democracy" country?

So, talk about something the government doesn't like, get removed from social media, face deathly charges, get the 'freedom and democracy lovers' companies in the west to comply and remove this person from all access to his followers. Cut him off so he can't speak openly anymore (government censorship out in the open), add it to the very well know kill list (we didn't do him any harm, some random person did, but we'll try to not find the person who killed him, just like we didn't try with the last 400 or so)

Fascism, authoritarian views, totalitarianism and current version of what "democracy, free speech and freedom" means sure share a lot of the same concepts

Culprit in drone strike on Iran identified

Early indications suggest the attack on a military complex in Isfahan was masterminded by Israel, Al Jazeera reports.

The recent drone attack on an Iranian military facility was likely orchestrated by Israel, Al Jazeera reported on Monday, citing an Iranian source. So far, Tehran has stopped short of officially assigning blame.

An unnamed Iranian official quoted by the outlet, said the raid on a Defense Ministry complex in the central city of Isfahan was launched from inside the country and close to the site. He also claimed that initial data suggests that Israel was involved in the attack.

The official echoed an earlier statement by the Iranian Defense Ministry, describing the attack as unsuccessful, and claiming that Israeli efforts to portray it in a different light are “just propaganda to obscure the failure.”

On Sunday, the Jerusalem Post reported, citing Western sources, that the raid was “a tremendous success,” with the destruction being much more serious than Tehran’s authorities are willing to acknowledge. However, the Iranian Defense Ministry said the raid “did not cause any loss of life” and inflicted only “minor damage” to the roof of the military workshop.

Al Jazeera’s Iranian source said Israel’s alleged actions will not go unanswered. He added that Washington has distanced itself from the raid and will not pressure Tehran into changing its policies.

“There are those who play with fire and we have no doubt that they will be the first to burn if they decide to start a regional war,” the source told the outlet.

His comments echo an earlier Wall Street Journal report claiming that Israel was behind the attack. Al-Arabiya TV said that the US Air Force and “one more country” were involved in the raid, which allegedly targeted an Iranian ballistic missile depot. While the Pentagon denied any involvement, Israel refrained from commenting on the matter.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel over Tehran’s nuclear program. While Israeli officials have repeatedly warned that Iran is seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, Tehran has dismissed the allegations, arguing that its nuclear program serves only peaceful purposes.

Latin America Refuses to Send Ukraine Weapons, Despite Western Pressure

Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia have rejected requests by the United States and European Union that they send weapons to Ukraine.

The commander of the US military’s Southern Command (Southcom), which operates in Latin America and the Caribbean, revealed on January 19 that Washington has been pressuring countries in the region to arm Ukraine.

Southcom wants Latin American nations to “replace [their] Russian equipment with United States equipment – if those countries want to donate it to Ukraine”, said Army General Laura J. Richardson.

The US and EU have pressured Latin America to send weapons and military equipment to Ukraine.

Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina refused, instead calling for peace.

Many other left-wing governments in the region did the same, staying neutral.

But Latin America’s left-wing leaders have refused, instead maintaining neutrality and urging peace.

The socialist governments in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua blamed NATO expansion and US meddling for causing the war in Ukraine.

Mexico’s progressive President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) offered to hold peace talks to end the conflict.

And the leftist governments in Bolivia and Honduras have joined Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia in refusing to be part of the proxy war.

Brazil’s Lula refuses to send tank munitions to Ukraine

Germany announced on January 25 that it would send tanks to Ukraine, in a significant escalation of the NATO proxy war against Russia.

Berlin subsequently asked Brazil to ship tank munitions to Kiev. But newly inaugurated left-wing President Lula da Silva declined to do so.

Lula was a co-founder of the BRICS bloc, consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. He has long called for a multipolar world, and supports South-South cooperation and regional integration.

Lula has denounced Western governments for ramping up the violence in Ukraine instead of encouraging peace negotiations.

During his presidential campaign in 2022, Lula criticized the White House, asking, “How can the world’s largest economic power say that it has no milk for children after President Biden announced $40 billion to buy arms meant for the war in Ukraine?”.

Colombia’s Petro opposes sending weapons to Ukraine
Colombia’s first ever left-wing president, Gustavo Petro, revealed that the United States pressured his country as well to give weapons to Ukraine. But he refused to do so, instead urging peace.

Argentina’s Alberto Fernández says Latin America will not arm Ukraine
Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Argentina on January 28. There, he asked President Alberto Fernández to send military equipment to Ukraine.

Fernández declined, instead stating firmly at a press conference that “Argentina and other Latin American countries do not plan to provide weapons to Ukraine, or to any other conflict zone”.

I'm not convinced that the USA, Inc. gave Israel "permission" to attack Iran. The attack was well within the typical modus operandi of the Israelis/IDF/Mossad. The USA, Inc. is borrowing billions of dollars from China to funnel through the American military industrial complex and military and then into Ukraine. The USA, Inc. is flat broke and in debt for eternity. I can't believe that the warlords in Washington really want another war front to ostensibly "defend an ally", simultaneously.

It makes more sense that the Israeli warlords saw an opportunity for mayhem to further their agenda, and took it. They probably calculated that Russia is too busy with Ukraine and NATO to provide any kind of support to Iran. The Israelis know that they might get scolded, but no other negative consequences. Israel is, in my mind, the most likely nation on Earth to use nuclear warheads on its enemies, and may be trying to goad Iran into a military response so that they can then retaliate with nukes - the same basic MO as Israel's destruction of Palestine and genocide of Palestinians. It makes perfect sense to me that the Israelis would use the USA, Inc./NATO war against Russia strategically to their advantage.
