    Nashi always sends an open invitation, except in some very specific cases. Then they wait back for people to get involved, the need to join a channel to ask in is what initiates the real process, as then you have demonstrated to be interested on your own, "You were looking for this, and then the chance came, and you took it".

    Of course, yes, rough parallel to NED, or WEF, etc., but smaller.

    Basically how any kind of recruitment works. Not everyone who writes in the journals gets a bigger offer.

    The personnel pool over here is usually of an inferior quality.

    Among the muddle-headed western journals, seams are starting to bust according to Foreign Policy, Biden is:

    ...sending a clear message to Putin: “You will never succeed in dominating Ukraine.” Beyond that, Biden said in remarks at the White House, the new policy was intended “to punish Russian aggression, to lessen the risk of future conflicts.”

    That followed an equally clear declaration this week from U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who after a meeting in Kyiv with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the U.S. objective is now to curtail Russia’s power over the long term so it does not have the “capability to reproduce” its military assault on Ukraine. “We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can’t do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine,” Austin said in a stopover in Poland.

    That does not...mean anything, yet, as far as I can tell, but:

    “It’s the only way to go forward,” said former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen in an interview. “In Putin’s thinking it doesn’t make any difference, because he would only claim that the Western policy is to weaken Russia anyway. So why not speak openly about it? The mistake we made in the past was to underestimate the ambitions of Vladimir Putin, to underestimate his brutality. At the same time, we overestimated the strength of the Russian military.”

    No you didn't, you are trying to push the "slow" propaganda, while presuming you "make a difference". There are about six less train tracks and four fewer power stations than yesterday. They are asking too much money to promote some doctrine that can't possibly work. Not many European politicians may duck out of that, but, some Americans are.

    And no, there is not much way for someone in the States to directly assist Russia at a media level or otherwise. As mentioned before, the technicality of "religious freedom" here is what may be preserving the only notable link between the two countries. Because of this we are able to contribute to humanitarian assistance in Ukraine by contributing to the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia:

    Fund for Assistance

    We expect this one to be relatively clean of Biden cash.

    This familiar cross shape is not exactly the "Orthodox" one, but, Russian. It is a mirror image of ones from Byzantium back to the 6th century. The shape was made like this and grew together with the Third Rome idea and was officialized by Ivan the Terrible in 1551.

    Compared to western styles, what is noticeable on a fully-detailed icon is that:

    Note that Jesus is not shown wearing a crown of thorns, but with a halo of glory, and that He is not shown in agony and suffering, but peacefully reposed.

    Earlier symbols such as the Greek Cross (equal armed) was carried forward from Pythagoras, or Chi Rho having to do with Constantine.

    The illuminations from the Slavonic Cross article shows that the halo of glory on both the crucified and risen Christ is a type of Ringed Cross, which is archaic, called by the Nazis a Sun Cross, and so on. Also related to Coptic, Nestorian, and Gnostic crosses, Tau, Ankh, and so on.

    The image of living Christ is based on what is called icon not made with hands which the living Jesus made a face print and sent it to King Abgar of Edessa.

    The Russian symbol is not really that old, but, it does mean something like the Second Byzantium. This city was flourishing prior to Rome, was more advanced in learning and culture, and its sphere lasted almost a thousand years longer until slipping into Russia after 1450. Part of the point is that it did not really have anything to do with the first Rome. It is like that in a naming sequence of political powers if one must say the Byzantine Empire "arose from the ashes" of the Roman one. But it did not come from there, and more or less repelled its influence.

    Orthodox dioceses take their origin in the Church of Jerusalem. Roughly put, shortly after this was founded, the Romans demolished Jerusalem around the year 70, and so there was a minor diaspora and then it was re-started after 135. Issues at those times were polarized between outreaching to Jews or towards Gentiles, as explained by the experiences of James and Paul.

    The Orthodox view says:

    The Pentarchy consisted of the five ancient patriarchates of the undivided Church of the first millennium of her history, including the Churches of Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, and Jerusalem.

    And so it is this union that Rome walked out of, resulting in the conflict as still played out today.

    Such a league admittedly did not account for the Eastern churches and some others. The four remaining members have a great deal in common, but, they have never quite had the "central command" like the Pope has. So for example there is no reason why Russia cannot develop its own kind of cross icon. It is not an original diocese, but, all of those are defunct in terms of being something like "officially Christian countries".

    It is like the last one.

    Many Ukrainians are of the same humanistic religion, and not the Lex Talionis of other kinds.

    And now this, which is potentially very significant indeed:

    In government circles, people familiar with the procedures applicable to NATO, as well as the dynamics of the two countries' membership, say that Milanovic is aware that he will not be in a position to veto the entry of Finland and Sweden because the decision to accept the two countries will be made by The North Atlantic Council, which means it will be passed at the level of ambassadors, not heads of government or heads of state.
    Zoran is prone to dramatic statements, we are already used to them..
    His statements are very often empty because in Croatia the president does not have any essential authority. More important is the view of the PM who is a proven Brussels puppet.

    Britain in particular has always nurtured a strong Russophobic attitude, it seems the very culture of English intelligence circles is founded on a blind hatred of Russia; since WWII when Russia changed the outcome to victory they have resented the power and ability of Russia to flourish independently, absolutely rejecting the established order of the West.
    I think this is perched on the very precipice of disaster, unless Britain can reign in its psychopathy and moderate its fear and loathing, we are going to see something unbearable happen.
    And as a citizen of the UK and ethnically British I am appalled and deeply ashamed of this psycho-myopic prejudice and numbskullery - I'm intending to let my local MP know in no uncertain terms exactly what I think of the Government's stance which is ill representative of my own view as can be.

    Before reading your post I was chatting with work colleagues and pretty much said this:
    "If these individuals who purport to represent us continue with this beyond ill-advised policy toward Russia then they'd best find themselves a very deep impenetrable trench wherein to hide. The French Revolution will begin to resemble only the warm up, for the main act."

    Patrick Lancaster is very understandably becoming increasingly more animated and particularly more intensely so when it concerns the (continued) wilful shelling of schools at the hands of the Ukrainians

    Latest report here:

    Eva Bartlett here with a report on the results of Ukrainian shelling in Rubizhne.

    Source: https://twitter.com/EvaKBartlett/sta...21199880986624

    Text:

    "Yesterday in Rubizhne, a city recently liberated by LPR & Russian forces, yet still under shelling by Ukrainian forces 1.5 km from this school sheltering displaced residents, mostly elderly.
    Crosses mark new graves to bury those killed by Ukrainian shelling. According to...Anna Soroka, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainian forces use civilians as human shields:
    When they use an apartment building as defence line to shoot at Russian forces, they force people to stay not only in basements but upper floors, too. Because Russian..
    ...forces know about this, they refrain from shelling those buildings, because they know any shell that falls on the building would harm civilians. That's why this small city has not yet been fully liberated two months into the special operation. According to Soroka, the majority of people left as soon as conflict started. Those who couldn't leave, stayed, mostly elderly. Only in the last 2 days could they start retrieving bodies from the streets (it was too dangerous to do so before), & found 64 bodies in the streets..

    While there, an older man biking past stopped when he saw journalists. He pointed in 1 direction saying, "That side is where the Russian's positions were & that side (opposite) is where the Ukrainians were." Pointing back toward the Russian position, he said..."You can see that the destruction was on that side.

    Zelensky calls them the “protectors”. They destroyed the city. These so-called “protectors” think all the "real" inhabitants have left the city & all the people who have stayed are "separatists". So that's Ukraine's excuse..."... to shell the city, the civilians.

    The other day, I was Kriminaya, there was a shelling right in the centre of the city, there was no Russian military there.

    They're (curse)...""

    This is an invitation call to join the Nashi. That's what "our people" refers to. It could well be posted far and wide on many platforms.

    But this features a number of hidden traps that could prove very dangerous. I doubt that any Avalon members would be signing up!
    I would caution anyone living in a NATO country, especially the United States, NOT to join or even contact this group. It could be construed as treason and (in the U.S. at least) you will be labelled an "enemy combatant." This could get you in a lot of legal hot water or even jail time.

    Friends, this is highly highly significant, and we'll hear a lot more analysis about this over the next few days. Putin has signed a decree banning core material exports (oil, gas, wheat, commodities) to "unfriendly nations".

    This was his economic nuclear option. The EU will now slide into systemic collapse, and the US will follow soon after.

    In this brief update, Alex Christoforou doesn't seem to grasp right away how enormous this is. I'd bet several large sacks of flour and 100 gallons of diesel that in tomorrow's The Duran broadcast, Alexander Mercouris, whose deep understanding of economics and geopolitics I've come to respect more and more, will find himself personally challenged to fully express the magnitude of the impact this will have.
    A little more. To my surprise, I could find nothing about this in the western media, or on RT or Sputnik News. But here it is on the Kremlin's website, mentioned in the briefest summary only. I found myself wondering if Alex Christoforou had somehow partially misunderstood this.
    ~~~
    Update: Yes, he did misunderstand it. That economic nuclear option of banning commodity exports to "unfriendly nations" has NOT been initiated — yet.
    This is quite good news -- also for the relations between the two Serbo-Croatian speaking states I guess. Also, it may make the two Scandinavian states think once more.
    The former Soviet Union was not that bad with its minorities.
    Then what do you do as a "small" country when your neighbour has ten times more inhabitants than you yourself? You acknowledge the right to "pursuit of happiness" for each of its citizens that you want for yourself – and you persuade them that a little form of "exceptionalism" in order to preserve the originality of your own culture is in their interest too.
    One of the key causes for the absence of real enthusiasm for the European project has always been in my eyes that this delicate but healthy balance has never been achieved. As a Belgian I have always felt ashamed that Belgium enjoyed up to three times as many MP’s per capita in the European Parliament as the largest states (Germany, France, UK, Italy). This is wrong. The key should be the same and there should be a European Senate that protects all cultural, educational etc. issues irrespective of the number of inhabitants. If Ukraine had had a similar arrangement for their Ukrainian and Russian cultural citizens, the NATO countries could never have driven their wedges into its society.
    But then, who are the NATO countries if not dominated by the Anglo-Saxon states, who made it a point to try and destroy non-Anglo-Saxon cultures within their borders. Thanks to great courage of the speakers of those cultures as well as a kind of miracle French barely escaped second-rank status in Canada, and Welsh in the UK.
    In government circles, people familiar with the procedures applicable to NATO, as well as the dynamics of the two countries' membership, say that Milanovic is aware that he will not be in a position to veto the entry of Finland and Sweden because the decision to accept the two countries will be made by The North Atlantic Council, which means it will be passed at the level of ambassadors, not heads of government or heads of state.
    Zoran is prone to dramatic statements, we are already used to them..
    His statements are very often empty because in Croatia the president does not have any essential authority. More important is the view of the PM who is a proven Brussels puppet.
    Thank you Isserley. I should have read your contribution before expressing my unwarranted enthusiasm.
    A pity, though, that this president will not have more impact.
    And as a citizen of the UK and ethnically British I am appalled and deeply ashamed of this psycho-myopic prejudice and numbskullery - I'm intending to let my local MP know in no uncertain terms exactly what I think of the Government's stance which is ill representative of my own view as can be.
    It is something that still escapes all the reviews of history I have done.
    There is no big surprise that from the Great Game strategy around the 1700s that, for a time period at least, the country of Britain would be strategically inmical to the country of Russia.
    I do not see how or why this must have soaked to the bone and turned into a deep-seeded racist hatred shared and passed down by influential families and institutions. The religion of Eugenics was not even around until about 1900. And of course there is no sign or trace of this attitude in the early days of colonialism. It seems to have come from nowhere and is something more than a religion or military endeavor, or actually it seems more and other than any kind of real experience.
    It hardly has anything to do with most English or any other people who were living there.
    Is that evidence of Khazaria or a pre-Nazi Nazism? I am not sure. I have no idea how it got there or why it seems to be so intense. Any suggestions?
    I would caution anyone living in a NATO country, especially the United States, NOT to join or even contact this group. It could be construed as treason and (in the U.S. at least) you will be labelled an "enemy combatant." This could get you in a lot of legal hot water or even jail time.
    It may be.
    None of us are needed for anything like that, plus, I would be terrible at it, and refuse to do it.
    On the other hand, if we are ever going to do anything, is it all legal? Do I not somehow think I have a treasonous government? Should I risk something?
    Who would deal with a "spy"? DHS? No one knows since they have not foiled any terrorist operation, and had no experience and were afraid to say anything about Jan. 6, that's what you get for so many of those billions of dollars.
    Some Congressmen certainly think it is a worthless liar:
    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - US Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) said during a congressional hearing that the new Disinformation Governance Board established by the Biden administration cannot be trusted at all because the federal government is the biggest propagator of disinformation in the history of the world.
    "I think you've got no idea what disinformation is and I don't think the government's capable of it," Paul told Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas during the hearing on Wednesday. "Do you know who the greatest propagator of disinformation in the history of the world is? The US government."
    Paul supported his point by highlighting the Pentagon Papers and former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara's role in involving the United States in the Vietnam war, President Ronald Reagan lying during the Iran-Contra affair and former President George W. Bush lying about the existence weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of Iraq.
    Sen. Rand Paul GRILLS Mayorkas over Biden's "Ministry of Truth":
    "I think you've got no idea what disinformation is ... Do you know who the greatest propagator of disinformation in the history of the world is? The U.S. government."
    — The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) May 4, 2022
    Paul also brought up the Steele dossier, which was used to fabricate allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. Russia repeatedly denied having ties to the Trump campaign and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation eventually found there was no collusion.
    "You think the American people are so stupid that they need you to tell them what the truth is? You can't even admit what the truth is with the Steele Dossier," Paul remarked during the hearing. "I don't trust government to figure out what the truth is. The government is largely disseminating disinformation."
    "The thing is if you're going to go around and say that you're the arbiter of information and of disinformation - i think you have no clue ... you don't have the perspective history knowing that disinformation - the largest progenitor of it - has probably been the US government," Paul continued.
    Video shows that just as Paul ceases his remarks Mayorkas responded by stating his department has no intention of acting as the "truth police."
    The Wednesday hearing comes as the Department of Homeland Security recently formed a new Disinformation Governance Board to coordinate ways to challenge and contradict misinformation about homeland security, with a special concentration on Russia and irregular migration. Opponents have likened the new body to an Orwellian ministry of Truth.
    Similar efforts by the Biden administration to clamp down on disinformation campaigns are being undertaken by the US State Department, which has its Global Engagement Center monitoring any potential efforts to undermine US security.
    Just remember the State Dept. is an appointed British Nazi no matter what kind of background they have.
    If I can get their phone number, I can ask them about "security" and we may have to straighten a few things out. Everyone I can find is a presumed criminal waiting to get kicked off their land. So I don't think we hold a common understanding as to what "security" could possibly be like. Therefor that office needs to cease existing.
    Don't try to fix it with Antifa or those other "protestors". These people are so pointless and inept. We have seen quite a fair bit of dangerous illegal activity but it was all wasted because they go after the wrong targets, and have no useful platform to support anyway. If you are going to risk it, then it should be more meaningful.
    Jail/prison/etc. sometimes is just the overhead cost of life.
    If we cannot change the law in our favor, sometimes we stop following it.
    Are we watching the shell game? Remember the opioid lawsuits? Some 90% of it just got settled out of court, the companies involved granted immunity from further litigation, although the cases were anywhere up to eight years old, and the problem now, is, in fact, worse. Although it may look like they are paying a lot of money, most of it is spread out over years, based on future profits. What? We basically have to guarantee them a certain level of business now, or they can go back and re-negotiate.
    Same crowd that brought you Covid and a "wall of biolabs" all the way out towards Kazakhstan or the Garden of Eden. I noticed in Russia and some other places that Covid has dropped off noticeably. Turns out our Secretary of State has just got it with mild symptoms.
    I have not known anyone who missed a day of work due to it. I know of one, a delivery person that wound up with us being skipped, and that may be about the closest so far. So I have no idea if they are actually dead or just a statistic. Because the President has not been around that guy for several days, he is immortal, as you can see, formaldehyde really works, that is exactly what it does to your brain, kids. When you do it too much, you become your own wax mannequin, and then you can only be employed to tell lies all day.
    It's an interesting idea that I have started to explore again recently.
    Khazaria is still somewhat steeped in mystery although the Arabic records would be interesting to delve deeper into; they're sure to be very informative.
    What did leap out to me recently based on available maps is that the Russian intervention appears almost as much a symbolic anti-Khazarian operation as it is a necessary intervention for the ethnic Russians.
    See this map here for what was thought to be Khazaria:
    These are the areas in modern day Ukraine under current Russian control, or at least a large portion of this area east of Kiev and of course in the south.
    Also we need to remember that the traders and nomads referred to as the Khazarians/Khazars adopted Judaism - they do not seem to have been of any historically recorded or recognised semitic tribe associated with the origin of the faith in the lands around Palestine/middle-east.
    This helps to clear up the apparent contradiction around Zelensky's supposed Jewish background, and that he could also adopt the hateful ideology of Nazism, itself an offshoot of Zionism.
    This is where I'm at at the moment and it seems to make some sort of sense to me.
