Zaporozhye: Russia Destroyed Hangar Filled with New Western Tanks March 29, 2023

In the area of the city of Zaporozhye, which is still controlled by Ukrainian formations, Western-made tanks were destroyed on the night of March 29. This is reported by the Telegram channel “Reporter Rudenko V”.

According to military correspondents, foreign-made tanks were located in “one inconspicuous hangar” not far from Zaporozhye. Eyewitnesses first saw how tanks were driven into the hangar, clearly foreign-made. The hangar was then hit by a missile fired by the Russian armed forces.

The number of tanks that were in the hangar was about 10 units. As for their model, the eyewitnesses could not tell the military correspondent, because they do not understand foreign tanks at this level, the Reporter Rudenko V Telegram channel reports .

However, it cannot be ruled out that these could be German-made Leopard tanks, which are now being transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by a number of European states. Their number, promised by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is several dozen units, while the British Challenger tanks should be delivered to Ukraine in the amount of only 14 units.

The Russian leadership has long warned the Kiev regime and NATO countries that any Western-made military equipment and weapons that end up on the territory of Ukraine become a legitimate target for strikes by Russian troops.

The supply of Western weapons, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, only contributes to a further escalation of the conflict, and by no means brings it closer to a peaceful settlement. But Western countries do not accept this argument of the Russian leadership and continue to transfer weapons and equipment to Ukraine in large quantities, increasing the volume of deliveries.

How the US and NATO reuse the 1990s Yugoslavia wars playbook in Ukraine 29 Mar, 2023

If certain strategies and tactics seem familiar, that’s because they are over 20 years old

The emotionally charged and often hyperbolic terms used by the US and its allies to describe the conflict in Ukraine gives the notion that it is something unprecedented and unseen since the Second World War. That is quite literally not true.

If anything, the behaviors, tactics and even strategies embraced by the government in Kiev and its Western patrons bear an uncanny similarity to the conflicts that destroyed Yugoslavia in the 1990s. In sharp contrast to all the reminiscing – though nowhere near enough remorse – on the recent anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq, even the critics of the Western establishment seem to have forgotten about the Kosovo War, which began on March 24,1999.

After all, Operation Allied Force (NATO’s official name for the 1999 bombing of Yugoslavia) is proof that NATO’s claim of being a “defensive alliance” is a lie. So is the notion that changing borders by force is something that is simply not done in the “rules-based world order,” what with the US-led bloc occupying Serbia’s province of Kosovo and endorsing its “independence” in 2008. The West was so law-abiding, it tried to justify the unjustifiable by inventing the doctrine of “responsibility to protect” and setting up an “independent” commission to declare the war “illegal but legitimate.”

No wonder, then, that the “international community” wants this forgotten, to the point where they are trying to pressure Serbia to legitimize it by threatening sanctions, isolation, and “internal turmoil.”

In May 1999, after weeks of failing to bomb Serbia into submission, NATO sought to shore up its unity and credibility by having its pet tribunal in The Hague charge President Slobodan Milosevic with war crimes. Parallels with events of the past weeks write themselves.

Arguably, the “arrest warrant” for Russian President Vladimir Putin was the logical endpoint of the narrative spawned back in June 2014, when two think tank ‘experts’ penned a piece in the New Republic accusing Putin of “behaving in Ukraine like Milosevic did in Serbia.” When one looks at the actual policies embraced by Washington and its vassals, it is glaringly obvious they took this very narrative to heart.

For example, take the early talk about a “no-fly zone,” coming from Kiev and some Western capitals. Such a thing was actually established in Bosnia in 1992, and enforced by NATO on behalf of the UN, after the Serbs were falsely accused of shooting down an Italian humanitarian flight. It ended up being a backdoor for military intervention – just like in Libya in 2011.

Then there is the narrative about Ukraine as an innocent victim of aggression and a plucky underdog defending Western values, in need of money, weapons and volunteers – that’s exactly how the Western press painted Croatia and the Bosnian Muslims in the 1990s. Being an actor, Vladimir Zelensky is just better at reciting the same lines as Bosnian Muslim leader Alija Izetbegovic.

Zelensky’s Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba is also working off a script lifted from his Bosnian counterpart Haris Silajdzic. He too was a globe-trotting media fixture, demanding everything from food to weapons and accusing the “aggressor” of war crimes, rapes and genocide. To give Kiev some credit, it at least sacked the official who made fake claims of mass rape; Silajdzic never disavowed his accusations. In every other respect, Ukraine has far exceeded Bosnia in terms of projecting a sense of entitlement.

The current US and EU sanctions against Russia also had a precedent in the 1990s UN sanctions against Serbia and Montenegro, down to the ban on international sporting competitions. Had they thought to cancel Serbian cats or trees, they probably would have, too.

How a degenerate "empire of lies" military try to recruits with their degenerate woman
(I am not prude, she is hot but, so what! ?)

Amidst falling approval ratings and lack of recruits, the Pentagon has chosen a new tactic: viral TikToks made by psyop agents

US military personnel often share their everyday life on TikTok. Some joke around and play pranks on their companions, others share what they do and eat in the army, etc.

One of today’s most popular ‘military influencers' is Hayley Lujan, also known as lunchbaglujan. Lujan is known for her provocative, somewhat cynical sense of humor, friendship with Donald Trump’s son, and the fact that she is not a simple soldier, but a specialist in Psyops – Psychological Operations.

Lujan’s subscribers are aware of this. They assume that her account is part of a carefully designed marketing strategy. The influencer’s goal is to help bolster the reputation of the US military, particularly in the eyes of zoomers. Or, as the authors of “Know Your Meme” say, “to get ‘simps’ and the dudes who reply to every picture of boobs with ‘OMG DM me’ to enlist”.

Ukrainian parents hiding their children in basements in frontline cities
Volunteers say some families are refusing to evacuate and children have not seen the sun in months
    The Guardian, 30th March 2023

Ukrainian volunteers who have been evacuating civilians from the frontlines of the war with Russia say some parents have been hiding their children in basements to prevent them from being taken.

While parents have given different reasons, most volunteers have attributed the phenomenon to a combination of poverty and the psychological condition of the families, who have been living under bombing for months.

In early March, Ukraine’s government gave local authorities in the eastern city of Bakhmut, the site of one of the longest and bloodiest battles of Russia’s war, permission forcibly to evacuate children.

At present, this includes only settlements at risk of coming under Russian occupation, which the government has said is limited to Bakhmut. There are no legal powers for areas just as exposed along Ukraine’s 600-mile frontline, such as Avdiivka, a town south of Bakhmut.

Sasha, a volunteer medic in Bakhmut, described how other civilians would notify him of where children were being hidden.

“We knew (the child) was in this place so we went there and she had not been outside since September,” said Sasha, who shared a video of the labyrinth basement the child was living in. The children’s hands were grey from lack of sunlight. The mother said she feared going outside and had nowhere to go – a concern reflected by the volunteers, who said more work needed to be done on building relocation programmes for civilians.

Civilians in Bakhmut have been under fire since the war began, but the intensity has increased dramatically in recent months. Ukrainian authorities say 4,000 civilians are still in the city; it is not clear how many of them are children.

Thousands of volunteers have been involved in evacuating civilians from frontline areas since the beginning of the war. Though many parents leave voluntarily before the frontline reaches them, and others flee soon after, there are still thousands of children living in frontline areas.

Ignatius Ivlev-Yorke, 27, has been evacuating people in Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region almost daily since May. His team liaises with other groups to ensure those leaving are re-housed. Videos he posts to his Instagram account vividly depict what life is like for civilians in frontline areas, and the evacuation process itself.

Ivlev-Yorke has described the severe mental health problems faced by many people living in basements in frontline areas. They often spend months together with no electricity, water, gas or fresh air, while battles rage above.

On a visit to Soledar, a town east of Bakhmut from which Ukrainian forces retreated in January, he persuaded a woman to evacuate with her child. As they were leaving with her, some of those staying in the basement swore at her and burned her belongings.

Ivlev-Yorke said his experience in another a basement on the opposite side of the road in Soledar was “completely different”, which he attributed to each basement becoming its own “tight-knit community”.

He said people gave many reasons for not leaving, from having an elderly relative who could not walk, or a dog they did not want to be separated from, to not believing he would be able to arrange accommodation for them. Many of those he encountered have already fled once.

People reluctant to leave often are very poor, have little trust in the state and are “not very confident”, he added.

“They feel like they have been overlooked [by the state],” he said. The Ukrainian government offers evacuees 2000 UAH (roughly $50) a month and hostels to live in.

“Ukraine isn’t a very rich country. It’s not a welfare state. So when someone comes along and says ‘everything’s going to be OK, just get in the car and you’re going to have a future, we’ll take you abroad, we’ll give you a house and give you clothes. I’ll give you a computer’, they think: ‘Well, no, that’s bull****. Why would anyone do that? Why would anyone care for me, no one’s ever cared’.”

    • Ukraine’s Clear Pattern Of War Crimes Condemned By Amnesty International:

Ukrainians are committing war crimes against their own people, Amnesty International has revealed. The group revealed that Ukraine is using children and other civilians as human shields in its war against Russia, launching attacks from populated areas and turning schools, hospitals, and homes into military outposts — all things that Amnesty International says constitute a violation of humanitarian law. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss these crimes in comparison to the war crimes charges against Vladimir Putin.

    Twitter text,
“ Dmitry Medvedev: “In Europe, a new slanderous idea is being discussed to send some “peacekeepers” to Ukraine under the auspices of NATO. How do you like that? It is clear that the so-called NATO peacekeepers are simply going to enter the conflict on the side of our enemies. bringing the situation to the point of no return, to unleash the very third world war, which is so feared in words.
It is also obvious that such "peacekeepers" are our direct enemies. Wolves in sheep's clothing. They will be a legitimate target for our Armed Forces" (text shortened to avoid breaking some Twitter rules) ”

    • Even ChatGPT Knows The U.S. Provoked Russia To Invade Ukraine:

ChatGPT A.I. has proven remarkable at a variety of tasks, from writing top notch English papers to producing professional grade computer code. Now it turns out that ChatGPT and its fellow A.I., BingChat, have a more accurate understanding of the underpinnings of the Ukraine conflict than most Americans, American politicians and American media figures. Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger discuss ChatGPT’s cogent analysis of the U.S.’s history of overthrowing foreign governments and helping stage the coup that led to the Ukraine war.
No need to follow anyone, only consider broadening (y)our horizon of possibilities ...

Excerpt of George Galloway's Wednesday show of his interview with Political Commentator and Journalist, Chris Hedges
An interesting interview throughout although the Europe/Ukraine segment starts at
4:00. Towards the end there's discussion about the poor state of finances in the USA, the inevitable consequence being the shut down of American military bases overseas

The IMF is governed by and accountable to those 190 countries that make up its near-global membership. The Secretary of the Treasury serves as the U.S. Governor of the IMF, and the U.S. Executive Director of the IMF is one of 24 directors who exercise voting rights over the strategic direction of the institution. The U.S. is the largest shareholder in the Fund. Biden chose former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen as Treasury secretary, she is in favor of war, and she is a closet progressive. I would suspect her motives are in sync with Biden/Obama, intentional destruction of both the USA and Russia with an eye firmly planted on one world government.

Zelensky welcomes "important" IMF aid for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and its managing director for approving a $15.6 billion loan to Kyiv to help rebuild his country's devastated economy.

“I'm thankful to the IMF and Kristalina Georgieva for approving a new four-year support program for Ukraine for the total of $15.6 billion,” Zelensky tweeted on Friday. “It is an important help in our fight against Russian aggression.”
“Together we support the (Ukrainian) economy. And we are moving forward to victory,” he added.
The loan is part of a support package for Ukraine that totals $115 billion.

“The overarching goals of the authorities’ program are to sustain economic and financial stability at a time of exceptionally high uncertainty, restore debt sustainability on a forward-looking basis in both a baseline and downside scenario, and promote reforms that support Ukraine’s recovery on the path toward EU accession in the post-war period,” a statement the fund released on Friday read.
IMF First Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath complemented Ukrainian authorities for their work managing the country’s finances despite the ”devastating economic and social impact” of the Russian invasion.

“Activity contracted sharply last year, a large swathe of the country’s capital stock has been destroyed, and poverty is on the rise,” Gopinath said. “The authorities have nevertheless managed to maintain overall macroeconomic and financial stability, thanks to skilful policymaking and substantial external support.”
