Here in Brazil, decades ago, a farmacist suggested the use of a product called " Leite de Magnesia", which translated to english means milk of magnesia. It is originally manufactured as antiacid and for constipation and exccess of acid in stomach. Its main component is Hidroxide of magnesium. That´s what I use as a deodorant. Every 15 ml contain 1200 mg of hidroxide of magnesium in suspension equivalent a 8% (80mg /ml). I hope this helps. Kind Regards!

Sorry if this has been mentioned, don't think it has, I recommend colloidal silver. Better anti-bacterial than anything, without damaging your own body of course. Body odor is in fact the poop of bacteria on your skin. Spray CS (distilled water + silver atoms / ions) in your armpits (and on your entire body if you want) after a shower and there should be no bacteria invading your skin - no bactaria, no bacterium-poop, no body odor. Simpe, and healthy. I use CS for mouth hygiene as I do not brush (being a breatharian).

As a frugal and minimalist woman, i make deodorant myself. With coconutoil, a little bakingsoda and a essential oil of my liking.
Me too! Except I use cocoabutter instead of coconut oil, but either is good to form paste. The cocoa butter makes it a bit firmer. Works really well and does not stain clothes.

    Hello Palehorse,
I have been using talcum powder as well - until I read about possible health impacts...
    https://draxe.com/health/talcum-powder/
Thanks George I didn't know that. I will talk about it with family (i doubt they will listen lol), I use when it is really hot, but they use it everyday after bath. Since talcum is talcum I guess all brands are bad then, we use a very old brand you can't even find in a supermarket like bigC, they sell it in those old Thai pharmacies selling natural medicines and herbs or the Chinese traditional pharmacies, some mon and pops shop has it as well.

Quote I want to find an all natural deodorant. Anyone have any experience with this? I'll do a search but I wanted to ask fellow Avalonians who may have actually tried different methods. Thanks in advance.
The best is natural lemon juice because it's antibacterial. Odor is a clear sign of bacteria.

Yes, I can really back the claim that fresh lemonjuice is an excellent deodorant. Also i´d like to add that lemon is great for bad breath (instant bad breath-relief before the date!) and smelly feet. Just rub it in!
Ah... and yes, it also takes away bad smell from mens genitals (bacteria builds up under the foreskin) but that perhaps were more info than any of you asked for, haha.

I have used Routine deodorant for years and like it. A jar lasts me a long time and the scents are pleasant.

I have heard great things about Schmidt's, but haven't tried it yet. Maybe this summer!
