An hour and a half documentary that features some of this fascinating ground, presenting a strong case for early transatlantic trips by the Templars and Vikings.

    And the sequel:

Edit to add: I've just learned that the above two documentaries (Holy Grail in America and Who Really Discovered America?) aren't available in the US, at least for some. Here they both are as a combined WeTransfer download, valid for 7 days.
To Mecklenburger! I do appreciate that this is veering a little off-topic from the specific subject of Templars in South America. It just seemed that many readers may also be interested in this slightly broader theme.

There is also a documentary about a predominance of red haired people in one Peruvian town. I'll look to find the details in my old notes for the name of the doc. This may take a while, as I am just beginning to recover old notes and copying old hard drives.
I do not know if these people are connected in any way to Templar travels. The time of the insertion of the red haired genome into that area may reveal the connection, if any exists.

I remember the genetic markers of those red haired Peruvians matching those of natives of Northwest Spain. Within both groups there is a common use of a rock sling whose unique, woven patterns match each other.

On the subject of Anthropology, it would seem that "scientists" are prepared to admit (since July 2020) that Columbus was not the "first to discover America". Now the academics are saying that it was probably the Polynesians, based on a DNA admixture of Polynesian and South American (Columbian) blood which can be dated to 800 AD. See Wikipedia "Pre-Columbian trans-oceanic contact theories".

All that needs to be sorted out is where the mating took place. Wherever it was, the Polynesian partner would have known of the existence of South America in 1200 AD and was unlikely to have kept his/her mouth shut about it.

Those of us who still believe the Vikings were there first some time between 983 AD and 1200 AD will continue to research. Incidentally, in the case of the Danish Bundso dog which the French zoologists Friant and Reichlen stated in the 1950's was found "buried with its mummified owner at Ancon in Chile" they falsely stated that Ancon is in Chile when it is a few miles north of Lima in Peru. How could two highly educated "scientists" upon whose opinion we are supposed to rely have made a mistake like that?

I have found an academic paper dated 1984 to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that the French were established in Brazil before Columbus.

No mention is made in it of the Vikings but we cannot have everything. It ties in with what we know about the brazilwood activities. It is not the purpose of the erudite paper to make any claim about Columbus, it is a straightforward history of French involvement and collaboration with the Amerindians in the brazilwood trade in Brazil.

I am posting the extract tomorrow as a fresh thread together with the source.

I downloaded the WeTransfer file and there was only the 1 file in there? (Holy Grail in America | 333MB : duration: 1h 27m).
From Bill: definitely should be two. Here's the notification:

Now I have El Imperio Vikingo de Tiuanacu (America before Columbus) by Jacques De Mahieu (published Buenos Aires 1978, this edition being a 2013 reprint made in Bolivia.). There are about fifteen pages dedicated to the mining of silver by the Templars and how they got there from France. I was correct in naming Porco as the initial source, but because of the distances involved in the transport of the silver a couple of smaller mines nearer to coastal Brazil were found for them by the Vikings.

I found all these books (but none in English!) — now added to the Avalon Library:
    • Jacques de Mahieu - La Geografia Secreta De America (The Secret Geography of America) (Spanish).pdf
    • Jacques de Mahieu - Colón Llegó Después (Columbus Came Later) (Spanish).pdf
    • Jacques de Mahieu - Drakkares En El Amazonas (Longships In The Amazon) (Spanish).pdf
    • Jacques de Mahieu - Os Vikings no Brasil (Vikings in Brazil) (Portuguese).pdf
    • Jacques de Mahieu - I Templari in America (The Templars in America) (Italian).pdf
All here as a WeTransfer download, available for 7 days till 19 April:

I have the Spanish language reprint made in Bolivia in 2013, it is not the fifth, the third nor the first on your list, but probably the Portuguese and Spanish titles of the original publications. I have translated about 1000 words and can do that comfortably every day until I have covered that part of the book which is of interest. I want to credit Professor Mahieu in the title and so am beginning a new thread.

Good! With the PDFs, of course, you can copy chunks of text and paste them all into https://translate.google.com. These days, the auto-translation (especially of European languages) is often really pretty good.

With Mahieu it is better to take extracts as I am doing here. He does go on and on, is not an easy writer to translate and I think all his books are retranslated from the French into the intervening language. I dont know what a machine would make of him. I have just posted the first "chapter" giving him credit since I am paraphrasing the whole section. The thing about Mahieu is that he has done the groundwork on the ground for years, interviewed all these Amerindians and their dog and so he knows more about this subject than any other archaeologist.
