Default Planetary Conjunction December 21, 2020 Image

I have this photo I want to share that was sent/forwarded to me by my mother and in turn to her via friends of the family IIRC (not my personal friends), about last year's planetary conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn, a celestial event that has served to bring about many changes in my life for the better. Not only that, I had even gotten a couple "messages" (call it serendipity, synchronicity, or whatever the appropriate term is), from media that "things would get better very soon". These hidden media messages appeared shortly before the astronomical astrological event itself. Needless to say, it all spoke to me on a deep level, for which I am grateful for to acknowledge these.

    Anyway, here it is, enjoy.

Excellent picture. I observed the Great Conjunction with my telescope at home but my results when attempting to photograph it were disastrous. My poor gear/set up combined with inexperience resulted in barely distinguishable blobs. So thanks for sharing, I know how, pun intended, stars must align to get good pictures such as your mother's. Good work!

. Was going through some pictures and found the best of a bad bunch. Jupiter (right) and going slightly downward and a bit left the 2 spots would be moons. I think inner one was Io and can't be sure what the further one out is. Either Ganymede or Callisto.

I spent forever trying to get everything right and took so many pictures. This is just to contrast how good the previous one in Free thinker's post is.
