'Canada to introduce mandatory monkeypox quarantine
Canada hasn’t even dropped its COVID travel restrictions, and already the government has elevated monkeypox to Level 2 status, which means travellers may be subject to “isolation,” i.e., mandatory quarantine.

As per a Health Canada announcement, “In the current outbreak, those at risk of infection are those who have had close or intimate contact with a person who has monkeypox.”

“During your travel, you may be subject to procedures at your destination put in place to limit the spread of monkeypox, such as isolation, should you become infected. You may have limited access to timely and appropriate health care should you become ill, and may experience delays in returning home.”

This announcement also suggests that, much like COVID, the Canadian government plans on utilizing COVID infrastructure to track individuals suspected of having contacted those with confirmed monkeypox infections.

Health Canada continues, saying the federal government is now working with provincial and international governments to monitor the spread of monkeypox, even though cases remain low and monkeypox isn’t transmitted easily.

They are also recommending the use of personal protective equipment while travelling, which may mean additional mask mandates down the road.

Besides being one of the first countries to jump the gun on quarantining those who come down with a case of monkeypox, Canada is also one of the first countries (if not the first) to begin vaccinating people for monkeypox using the smallpox vaccine following the recent outbreak.

Quebec was the first to begin vaccinating for monkeypox, despite having only 25 cases in the province at the time.

As of yesterday (half a month later), there are now supposedly 85 cases, and over 500 Quebecers have received the smallpox vaccine.

Health officials also appear to be focused almost exclusively on monitoring gay men due to the spread believed to be occurring during sexual intercourse between individuals who attended a Spanish Pride festival — though monkeypox isn’t classified as a sexually-transmitted disease.

“We’re seeing the chain of transmission mainly in social networks in men who have sex with men,” said Montreal’s medical officer, Genevieve Bergeron.

It isn’t clear whether the government plans on tracking heterosexuals, too, or if it’s just gay men being targeted during Pride month.'

Thanks for post - just picked this bit out because I just had a nasty thought that they are going to try and sell the new wave of (highly suspicious) injections as small pox boosters and will say that the original small pox jabs have been proved to be 'safe and effective'.... now all you need to do is get a little boost and ...... ......

When I had the small pox inoculation thing as a child, if I remember right they didn't stick a needle in you they made a surface scratch (scratches) and put something on it - what's the betting though that the new ones will involve syringes...

The Canadian government caved in to pressure from the airline industry and other businesses in their usual sleazy way.

Beginning June 20, 2022 no vaccines will be required to travel by plane or train
in Canada.
However vaccine mandates can return anytime at the whim of the government.

Visitors to Canada still need to be jabbed to enter the country.

Unavaxxed Canadians still need to do testing and quarantine when returning to Canada.
Masks will still be required on planes and trains.

So the question that begs to be asked...
Why didn't the government end the jab mandates four months ago during the trucker convoy
protest?
Little has changed with respect to cases since then.
The 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th waves are all basically the same.

Meanwhile... the WHO will decide whether to declare
a second simultaneous pandemic next week (Monkeypox) !

I know my writing here will not solve my problem, but let me put it here at least for the record.

My wife’s mother in Europe is almost 99 years old and we would like to visit her. This is now impossible, we were not vaccinated and can’t fly out of Canada. Very frustrating and depressing, specially for my wife.

Relatives in Europe (all vaccinated) accuse us of being selfish: putting our “conspiracy theories “ ahead of visiting mother, old and in poor health.

We never expected that the lockdown would still last, and are now facing big dilemma: to take jabs to be able to travel in a couple of months (it has to be certain time between jabs, etc), or hoping that mandates will be lifted soon… Both of us are strongly against participating in this experimental nonsense.

Do we have any other option?

If you haven't already bought a ticket, this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for
to make it to Europe. (See above post).

The Government of Canada has confirmed that the vaccinated population account for 4 in every 5 Covid-19 deaths to have occurred across the country since the middle of February 2022, and 70% of those deaths have been among the triple vaccinated population.



The Government of Canada produces a daily Covid-19 Epidemiology update, in which they sporadically provide new data on Covid-19 cases, hospitalisations and deaths as and when they feel like it.

The following table is taken from their 14th June update, found here, and shows the number of cases, hospitalisations and deaths by vaccination status up to May 29th 2022 –

Unfortunately, the Government of Canada is attempting to deceive the public by providing a tally of cases, hospitalisations and deaths that stretches all the way back to December 14th 2020. By doing this they’re able to include a huge wave that occurred in January 2021 when just 0.3% of the population of Canada was considered fully vaccinated.



But thanks to the ‘Wayback Machine‘, we’re able to look at previously published reports by the Government of Canada and do the simple math ourselves to work out the current situation surrounding Covid-19 by vaccination status.

The following table is taken from a report published early March 2022, and it shows the number of cases, hospitalisations and deaths by vaccination status between 14th Dec 2020 and 13th February 2022 –



Now, all we have to do is carry out simple subtraction to deduce who is accounting for the most recent wave of Covid-19 cases, hospitalisations, and deaths in Canada, and these are the results…

Covid-19 Cases

The following chart shows the number of Covid-19 cases across the whole of Canada by vaccination status between 14th Feb and 29th May 22 –



Canada recorded 429,335 Covid-19 cases between 14th Feb and 29th May 2022, and 376,451 of those cases were among the vaccinated population. With 11,211 cases among the partly vaccinated, 138,086 cases among the double vaccinated, and 227,154 cases among the triple vaccinated.

This means the unvaccinated population accounted for 12% of Covid-19 cases between 14th Feb and 29th May, whilst the vaccinated population accounted for 88%, 60% of which were among the triple jabbed.

Covid-19 Hospitalisations

The following chart shows the number of Covid-19 hospitalisations across the whole of Canada by vaccination status between 14th Feb and 29th May 22 –



Over these 15 weeks, there were 4,954 Covid-19 deaths across Canada and the vaccinated population accounted for 3,796 of them. With 135 deaths among the partly vaccinated, 1,174 deaths among the double vaccinated, and 2,487 deaths among the triple vaccinated.

The means the unvaccinated population accounted for just 23% of deaths, whilst the vaccinated population accounted for 77%, 70% of which were among the triple jabbed.

If you don’t find these figures that concerning, perhaps you will once you realise between 30k and 50k Canadians are getting their third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine every single day, and this was how the pandemic was shaping out across the country a couple of months ago –



Because between 16th Jan and 22nd Jan 22, the vaccinated population accounted for just 41% of cases, 68% of hospitalisations, and 69% of deaths.

But now, despite the Government of Canada clearly trying desperately to conceal it, a bit of time, effort, and simple maths has revealed 88% of cases, 78% of hospitalisations and 77% of deaths were recorded among the fully vaccinated population between 14th Feb and 29th May 2022.

Should we be seeing this if the third jab is effective? Absolutely not, these figures strongly suggest the third jab has made the situation worse for the vaccinated.

It certainly may seem like I am picking on you Matthew, but I assure you I am NOT deliberately doing so. I would respond now the same way to ANYONE who posted the above study.

The people who did the analysis of the government numbers (The Daily Expose) certainly devoted a large amount of time to prepare it, this can be plainly seen.

However as in the case I just posted yesterday (coincidentally referring to another post by Matthew) this one also is guilty of comparing absolute numbers rather than percentages, for the most part.

As a result we see the first chart, third to last chart and second to last chart showing highly deceiving results (just three examples).

The number of deaths (from the first chart), cases (from the third to last chart) and hospitalizations (from the second to last chart) all look dramatically higher for the vaxxed when compared to the unvaxxed.

But, at the end of the day, when you compare the percentages from each group (the vaxxed and the unvaxxed) the difference is not nearly as striking.

A few times in the analysis they do use percentages. Here is one example:

"The means the unvaccinated population accounted for just 23% of deaths, whilst the vaccinated population accounted for 77%, 70% of which were among the triple jabbed." (sic)

This result at first glance may seem like there were far more deaths among the vaxxed population than the unvaxxed. But STOP and think.

The vaxxed make up 80% of the population so naturally we can expect more deaths among 80% of the population than among 20% !!!

I urge anyone here to do a search for "The Daily Expose" on the internet and see what turns up.

They are not exactly the most reputable of sites.

The evasiveness of not answering the questions seems to be adopted by many corrupt politicians these days. It is so obvious that it clearly shows a major flaw in the system. Whoever is chairing these types of meetings should have the means to stop this type of nonsense as it is such a waste of everyone's time and taxpayer money (those who care anyway).

He's not exactly Perry Mason in his interrogation skills.

He started off addressing Freeland as "Mr. Freeland" !!!
Then later he referred to a statement by the CBC... "On Mar 21, 2002, the CBC without any explanation...".
So sloppy preparation/delivery by Brock.

Brock was serious about his business, as he should have been, but I think he blew an opportunity

Aspire Food Group, which has facilities in both Canada and the United States, has announced that it has completed its construction of the world's largest cricket production facility.

The facility will be able to produce 9,000 metric tonnes of crickets every year for "human and pet consumption," amounting to roughly two billion crickets.

"Crickets are currently being explored as a protein-rich superfood. They contain fibre and are already found in grocery stores and restaurants, and have a smaller environmental footprint than traditional protein sources," reports Canadian Manufacturing.

Cricket consumption is also a part of a popular online conspiracy theory and meme, "I Will Not Eat the Bugs."
The theory states that crickets and other insects are being prepared for the public to consume due to food shortages, which may or may not be planned. The theory also suggests that humans will be convinced the eat bugs because of the environmental impact that factory farming has.
World leaders have played some part in scaring the public, with recent statements from the likes of President Joe Biden, who said in March "With regard to food shortages. Yes, we did talk about food shortages. And, and it's gonna be real." Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made similar statements in April.
Recent articles arguing for the consumption of crickets include the Toronto Star's article from three weeks ago, "Tech update: Combating food insecurity with AI and crickets, and Canada’s top AI ventures," which discusses Aspire Food Group, a Daily Mail article titled "Scientists plan to feed primary school children crickets and mealworms to make the UK greener," and a December Bloomberg article titled "Crickets, Mealworms and Grasshoppers Are Human Food, EU Says" which states that "Insects [are] seen as an alternate source of protein to animal meat."

That article states that European member states approved house crickets, yellow mealworms, and grasshoppers as "novel foods" which provides regulation for them to be brought to market. The European Commission has said that there are nine approval applications for insects of other kinds.'
