    Default Mushrooms On Mars?

Interesting, cool little article here from Popular Mechanics, speculating on small, mushroom-like objects on Mars that have been photographed by NASA's 'Opportunity' and 'Curiosity' rovers:https://www.popularmechanics.com/spa...-life-on-mars/

If that link gives you trouble, try this article instead:https://www.scmp.com/news/china/scie...ife-red-planet

Part of the so called 'Soft Disclosure'. I find it fascinating that the older generation has been brought up believing the predominant narrative that there is no life anywhere else in the universe, but ask any young person. Their belief system is being cultivated to believe that there is life on other planets and worlds. Within the space of a few decades the powers that were will take the global consciousness from isolation to contact and interaction with ET's without ever having openly admitted it.

If you'll excuse me a moment's flippancy, we'd have more fun and learning with Mars on mushrooms, wouldn't we?

(Sorry, I'd be lost without an occasional giggle in these weird times)

    Yes, entirely possible and believable.

And yes, NASA are calling it so we all know what that means.

So why don't they scoop one up, and with one of their multi-billion dollar instruments and do a damn test.

Or is it all just to poke at rocks and take pretty pictures?

I remembered reading somewhere last year about mushrooms. Apparently when they suddenly sprout up in an area near to trees, it means the trees are sick or dying and need healing. The chemicals released from the mushrooms acts as an elixir for the trees to repair. It’s apparently their purpose, to heal the nature around them back to life.

I need to find the article and come back...

That would work in very well with the work of Dr. John Brandenburg where he exposes the nuclear blasts on Mars and subsequent devastation. Mars is definitely not well.

they look like fluffy velvety straw mushrooms sort of thing, may be delicious... or highly poisonous/hallucinogenic.

Take a look at velvet mushrooms family, velvet red, velvet black, velvet brown, velvet oyster which grows like "boletus type" sometimes, they pretty much look like in the photos (from the above) and they are edibles.
In the website (https://www.scmp.com/news/china/scie...ife-red-planet) it show a stalk in one of the photos (second photo) and also what seems to be spines growing out of the cap, in this case I would say they pretty much look like "Lycoperdon perlatum" also called puffball as stated in the first link.

Here is one photo of a lycoperdon perlatum (puffball)

and here is the photo from scmp.com for comparison

when I was a kid I used to kick them (yeah they are not edible), they release some yellowish smoke in the air, they were good to kick when they already aged and turned brownish. They usually grow in the meadows with cows and horses or in place with lots of trees like a forest (reforestation areas). I am 90% sure they were puffballs, unless there is another one very similar.

    Mushrooms on Mars?

Scientists believe these photos show mushrooms on Mars—and proof of life. The claim is bound to cause controversy. See the possible evidence.
