Default Have you had people say to you: "It's for the best"?

This is a serious question. Just now, I learned something that literally left me stunned for a few minutes. (The member concerned may say something about this themselves: it's not my place to share that here.)

There may be a growing commonality not among us, but around us. The phrase, stated persuasively by friends or family members who've had the shot, seems to be:
    It's for the best.
    • Who else has had those words said to them by those who suddenly seem to feel they need to be persuaders of the "hesitant"?
    • And WHY the persuasion?
    • Where's this coming from? Who or what is driving this?
    • Why is exactly the same phrase being said by so many 'vaccinated' people?

I'm not a native speaker and thus not versed in the fine intricacies of the English language, but is it meant as or the same as

    'It's for the greater good'?

I guess it is what I am tempted to call the 'social(ist)' argument.

They are telling themselves and you (to convince you, but also to convince and reassure themselves) that you have to do it for society, for (the best of) all of us.

Of course it is based on fals(ifi)e(d) facts and pretenses discussed elsewhere here, so I won't get into that here.

Default Re: Have you had people say to you: "It's for the best"?

    Why the persuasion?

No one in my family has tried to talk me into the vaccine but I'll give this one a shot(no pun intended)

I think it's a little simple and it's a little complex. As we know, most people tend to compartmentalize their thoughts when it's convenient. So the reasons for this persuasion vary and may even contradict.

    1) "It's for the best." There are people who truly believe it is for the best.

    2) There are those who haven't done any research at all but are parroting that line because it's easier than taking the personal responsibility involved with said research. They resent people who have, because they are 'go along to get along people'. The diligence of the people who do their own research causes them embarrassment and shame, because it exposes their shortcomings to themselves, which is maddening because that often requires action..something they are unwilling to engage in. So they just emphatically regurgitate the mainstream narrative. Much easier that way, and it provides a buffer to one's conscience. And by getting others to play along("it's for the best") , they can more easily justify their intellectual laziness/cowardice.

    3) There's also that very human feeling of, "I've done it, for better or worse, so you better do it too." This type of person will outwardly ridicule an anti vaxxer perhaps, but will secretly fear they are cleverer than the crowd. If they can lure everyone into getting the vaccine, and the vaccine turns out to be a disaster, then the whole ship will go down together...and since no clever, independently minded people survived either in this scenario, no one can feel foolish or lesser for having been vaccinated.

    4) Once one sells their soul to join the herd, there is an automatic jelaousy and disdain for those who don't...for reasons Ive listed above

    5) People that are required to get vaccinated due to job demands will naturally resent those who aren't. They might also passive aggressively try to lure people into getting the shot ("its for the best")

    ..that type of stuff

I hesitate to bring this potentially explosive thought into the conversation, but perhaps partly what we are seeing is a kind of subconscious resignation by some to the feeling that the planet is overpopulated, and that there was no other way to reduce the population except by something like this plandemic, because not enough people will voluntarily comply with universal birth control.

    Wow, that's an excellent point!

Or people that have grown so apathetic that they don't have any fight in them, and simply don't care if the vaccine is harmful or not

My family have also ostracised me as I have resolutely refused this media manipulation to participate in this vile experiment. They accuse me of being deluded, a conspiracy-theorist, despite all the scientific evidence I have provided which they mostly refuse to read as I have offered links to it.
They deliberately ‘shot themselves in the foot’ to spite me. Perhaps it’s because I have never just accepted msm diatribe for many years, they have dismissed me as a weirdo. Too late now - they are shedding stuff and contaminating others, so being near anyone indoors like them is absolutely a nono to me. However, the info today about pine needle tea and its similar products shines a light.
They probably won’t believe that either... I despair.

"It's for the best" is little more than an admission that things are bad now.
I never say this phrase. Not ever.
I understand that is is probably well-intentioned: to try and help someone through a difficult period by finding meaning for their loss.

On 13 November 2005 I lost my baby daughter at 5 weeks to septicaemia after a seemingly successful bowel surgery.
The overwhelming infection had caused an Ischemia (kind of like a strangulation effect) causing the destruction of her little spinal column which meant she could no longer move her arms or legs nor breathe by herself.
This made her increasingly vulnerable to all manner of chest infections.
Blessed relief came from Dave Simpson, a senior consultant at Edinburgh Hospital for Sick Kids who told me "We're dealing with a dying baby here. I'm going to sedate her".

At no time did he (nor anyone else) ever say "It's for the best".
At the time I think if I ever heard anyone say that I would have exploded with anger.

Best for who?..I guess once we agree to something we know is inherently wrong on every level just because people say 'it's for the best' we are totally enslaved and at the mercy of the insanely evil beings behind all this plan. My soul has made the decision to never accept the jabberwocky..I am proud to stand up and say no when people try to persuade me. I didn't graduate from high school with any A levels o levels,I never went to university (having 0 grades doesn't help lol) I've always worked in factories and low paid jobs..so some might say I'm dumb..but I believe I have an intelligent soul that screams at me to never ever take this crap ..I trust in me and no one else 💜

I haven't seen anything yet about pine needle tea and similar products. The question of the day for me, at least, is how to protect oneself from the spike protein transmission, so that is vital info..
    Please provide more.

Yes, to all of those who've replied.

My real question was about the mantra. The Hallmark Card catchphrase. As an analogy, it seemed maybe a little too close to the "Build Back Better" mantra that somehow started to be written simultaneously into politicians' speeches all over the globe last year. Who dreamed up THAT catchy little slogan and told them to say it?

So it seemed to be a valid question where this new one is coming from, as well.

But maybe there's nothing to it. Maybe all these people really do mean it, each of them as a self-determined sovereign being. My suspicion, extreme and unsubstantiated though it is, is that there may be some kind of manipulation afoot which is near-invisible and very pervasive.

It's also related to the apparent personality changes that many feel they have observed in SOME people who have been 'vaccinated'. There are some very, very strange things happening out there.

Haven't had this yet but several times we've had people say that those who do not get the vaccine are MURDERERS!

We find this very, very disturbing as to what that belief and mentality could potentially lead to in the near future.

This statement has come both from people in the UK and in Germany.

Again, where is this idea coming from?

Here in the Netherlands, al day on radio and in the news (papers and tv) that we all must get the shot, its “for the best” and if we do so, we will get back to normal.
But like said before, the news talks politics, and they wnt everybody to get the shot, its almost like: if you don’t get it then it takes longer to get back to “normal”
I don’t want it, and many many people i know either, so we will see when we will get back to ‘normal” here, but i’m afraid that its a short period in the summer, and when the flu seaon is coming, all things change, and we get restricted again……. Unless nobody is going to test themselves, then this whole circus is over.
But we all know, there’s one agenda: the great reset.

No I've not heard this personally, I'm still getting "have you had the jab yet?" To which I reply not yet....

I still don't get folks excitement when they get the 'jab' .... All this 'yeah' good for you I'm getting mine tomorrow and then you look at them and they don't even look old enough to warrant any fear from the virus... I'm guessing my face must let me down some times when they say this to me (I'd be carp... at cards) I can't hide my abject instant look of horror... To which I get a quizzical glance back... They tend not to say anymore...

What I have heard many many times is that they want to go on holiday so they 'have' to have it...

I guess because I don't watch the news or read newspapers I'm not getting caught up in the hype...

In the last year, I have heard many new phrases mysteriously appear:
    • "flatten the curve"
    • "out of an abundance of caution"
    • "the new normal"

What is their origin? How did they take hold so quickly across the English speaking world?

I'm sure that most/all here are aware of what the 'vaccine' manufacturers themselves say about the effectiveness of their 'vaccines'.

They state clearly that taking their 'vaccines' will not provide immunity to Covid.
They state that those who take their 'vaccines' can still become infected by Covid and thus,
    infect others with the virus.

    So this leads to the obvious questions;
    1. Are not those who take the vaccine, later become infected with Covid and then go on to infect others
    also MURDERERS?
    2. What percentage of people taking the 'vaccines' are aware that they will not become immune to Covid
as a result of their shot?

I haven't experienced it yet personally, but expect to hear it in the coming future for sure.

In my neck of the woods, the phrases that I hear all too often are:

"We're all in this together" and "Stay safe".

The former I see mainly on signs.
If I have ever have a chance I will reply with: "Speak for yourself. I'm not in it! "

I often hear people (strangers) instruct me to "Stay safe".
The next time someone tells me that I'll come back at them with: "Wake up!"

Bill I definitely think that these catch phrases are all part of the "flood the zone"
media strategy outlined at Event 201.

And all of those politicians reading from the same script saying "Life won't
return to normal until we have a vaccine" way back in March-April 2020.
How the heck could they know that, and all at the same time?

What I'm hearing repeatedly is, "once we're all vaccinated, we can all go back to normal". Hey, what we're experiencing right now is a twisted 'normal'. No turning back the clock to 2019.

I'm not hearing "it's for the best" in my part of the world, though.

Or people that have grown so apathetic that they don't have any fight in them, and simply don't care if the vaccine is harmful or not
Agreed. But, yet, they cross their fingers, take a jab, and pray that if it is harmful it is not harmful to them or their loved ones. They rolled the dice hoping to win on a bet that is 99.7% in their favor to win by not rolling the dice. That is a terrible bet.

My sister said that, when explaining why she took the shot. Thinking about it, I believe that is what her doctor said to her when she asked him what he thought about the vax.
Possibly it is the line that the doctors are saying to people?
And the folks that do a lot of doctoring are hearing and repeating that line from health care workers?
