Can’t state anything here as I’m not familiar either with the man or the group but I watched documentary about them some years ago someone posted on the ToT forum.

He and his followers built self sustaining community in remote cusp of Siberia, pristine natural paradise adopting a form of Christianity that resembles more the way early Christians lived though they probably call themselves orthodox.

What you would probably better miss to see is a typical KGB style operation.

For sure after 30 years growing villages in Siberia , something always happens to somebody in community of 4000 people.
