I have no doubt at all that this kind of thing occurs. The real mystery to me is that any "demon",spirit or archonic entity is going to be driven away by a representative of one of the most evil, corrupt organizations that has ever existed on this planet. I know that doesn't mean that every priest is not necessarily a representative of the evil that is and has been done under the label of catholicism but something is really off about the whole thing. Historically, I'm pretty sure that little niche of exorcism that catholics have carved out for themselves has yielded them quite a bit of power, wealth and influence. This is just another grand example of the huge amount of cognitive dissonance that is required to navigate the landscape of this reality.

I do have to agree that the whole possession experience is very, very creepy.
