Default What is the strangest website on the internet?

The Darkweb is generally excluded in this conversation, but feel free to post about it if you want. Anyway....

A friend and myself used to 'dig' the internet just to find weird and often seemingly nonsensical websites. The creepier the better. I find this thing entertaining.

What takes the cake of all the sites I've found is a site called LHOHQ. I'm specifically not going to link to it because I do not necessarily recommend visiting it. I am not an expert on internet security but I do know more than the average person I suppose, and I'd hate to have a fellow Avalonian's PC become infected with malware or who knows what. I have checked it out several times, though with certain precautions in place which actually would prevent some of the pages from being visible or loading at all.

So what is LHOHQ? It's a long story. I suppose it could be called a conspiracy site, but with an intentionally high signal to noise ratio. There are some interesting pages, like one that has (very difficult to read) contact information for 'major players' out there. Meaning, those in high positions of power. Many of the pages are just absolutely random and nonsensical, a conglomeration of sounds and images attempting to appeal to those who have an interest in mind control, or the occult, etc. The site is intentionally extremely difficult to navigate. Maybe it's all part of an intricate plan to hide incredible gems? I doubt it, but hey it's fun to think about.

I watched the following video on LHOHQ and I agree with the assessment stated in the video, it's an art project. Don't visit the site, but check out this video for more information:

Oh I should add, that while LHOHQ is not a pornography website, it does have some pornographic images on it. It is absolutely NSFW.

It's funny to think that most people here will go to youtube and watch the video, and then leave the referral url as track they came to this thread frist and got the link from it and from the dark web site in the first place

Don't hate me more than you already do Strat, just saying...

    from his website:
"I was born in San Francisco in 1971. Since my parents were already talking about a divorce, right after my birth I was sent to Taiwan where my grand parents raised me up. I am not a Taiwanese. I am Chinese, and I wish China will one day take Taiwan back, peacefully or by force, at any cost! A Taiwanese who does not consider himself to be Chinese does not deserve to become immortal. So if that's you, my product is not for you. I only have an AS degree which I got in City College of San Francisco. After that, I worked for a few years and then filed a patent for Immortality Device. I practice Iching (Chinese astrology) and Chinese medicine. I worked for Japanese companies as sales and as a sushi chef for nearly 8 years before I started my own business. I have only one patent in hand which was issued in October 1999, which is the most important patent in the world! (immortality)"

he seems to be a globalist pretty much in line with a one world government (actually 4 countries only LOL), from his website:
"That's the time we should incorporate the countries which participated in world war 3. Consolidate the strongest countries like USA, China, Russia, and Japan into one corporation. These countries can no longer declare war against each other. Another word, these nations become one single country, the corporation of the world. "

Yes, same guy, still selling his magnet rings-he does look pretty good for 50 but you cannot prove anything from this because Asian men do tend to retain a youthful look much longer!
The most powerful form of Mind Control is our education system, this is where we all get our training and the foundational world view we take with us-what can be more potent than this?

Good call! I found this a long time ago, watched some interviews with him as well. I have no idea how I stumbled across all these sites.

I remember one that was really creepy, it was basically (IIRC) stop animation with a creepy doll with an odd voice. The musician Buckethead has a really creepy website too, though it's just part of his persona so to speak so no real mystery there... I actually saw him live, great show.

    @Mashika I don't hate anyone.

    • I did some digging using keywords mixing with "site:.gov" & "site:.edu" on google and after ±15 minutes of searching I think I found the "master brain" behind it all:

David Witzling is an inter-disciplinarian moving between the worlds of filmmaking, teaching, poetry, scholarship, independent publishing, permaculture, and coding. His current interests include intellectual property and media appropriation, open source software, diminishing returns on societal investments in complexity, and the deep history of western science. His motion pictures have screened internationally, nationally, and regionally at venues such as the Ann Arbor Film Fest, Winnipeg Underground Film Festival, Oakland Underground, Festival de Cannes Court Metrage, and the Wisconsin Film Festival.

In a part of the video where he states that three profiles which appear to be from inexistent people, there is the following Click image for larger version

what caught my eye was the place where he supposedly studied, the University of Albuquerque Institute of the Future. But I took a wrong turn and ended up in here

    https://www.iftf.org/what-we-do/

Which is another place completely according to them in Palo Alto, California.

And there is a whole bunch of interesting links and investigations being done there for the "benefit" of humanity of course. One of their publicity statements is in this PDF and is just so incredibly in your face that it made my mouth drop to the floor and at the same time just laugh because you feel so out of words to describe what reading this makes you feel.

There is this really bizarre website with a strange take on reality called cnn.com

Many of their presenters are former clowns sacked for traumatising children.

Old websites that are still up are strange in themselves I think, just by virtue of the older tech.
Here's another that I was surprised to find that was still up, seeing as Barry Carter died some years back.

Wow, so LHOHQ is sure a trip, they try HARD to seem like a nonsense site but seem to actually have real information that would be hard to find elsewhere. Simply "select all" text on most pages in order to see the hidden words.

Very strange, I vote for LHOHQ strangest site on the Web

I learned that the C!A seems to be very intelligent in choosing its names for shell companies that make it basically useless to search for the companies name via search engines.

(The site didn't mention this, but it does mention shell company names and they all require some search engine gymnastics to locate via search)

Deoxy.org is one of those ones, but they are off now, if you want to know how it looks like, please check the web archives here > https://web.archive.org/web/20081022...p://deoxy.org/

Their website for the time was completely different, great interface (more than one), it was built in perl language and javascript, their IRC was the best, I myself spent a great amount of time chatting in there, lots of good info, they also offered free webpages and a simple forum, and diverse useful tools, but their mainly subject was psychedelic, art, and related stuffs, they were good bringing up great materials and people that had great knowledge about it. They came online in 1993 under another name and quickly became deoxy.org in 1996, and was one of the few websites that you could find stuffs related to psychedelic and conspiracies in an artistic way of expressing it, Dimitri Novus has created lots of content on deoxy, but the real owner I guess nobody ever knew who s/he was. There was issues about copyrights with deoxy in 1997 and 1998, and the only person they found to contact was Dimitri Novus, since the creator of those pages content had him as author, the blame was on him. I remember another occasion when they tried hard to shut deoxy down, but failed, whoever was behind it was good and managed to stay up online until 2015 when it completely gonna, but their domain name still registered until 2022 and it was last update on: 2020-02-14T05:29:08Z, whoever is behind it still holding the name, maybe they will be back one day, who knows.

This was a weird website, but a good one.

"Strange" is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure to most of the "normies" of the world, this forum would be pretty high on their strange list!
Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence?
