Default Turmoil in South Africa: Complete societal collapse - rioters being shot dead by armed citizens after police pull-back; looters being **whipped**

South Africa is in the midst of total societal collapse as roving bands of rioters, smash, loot, and burn businesses in the city of Durban. Government has announced it has "lost control." Armed citizens are firing live rounds into rioters, capturing some and WHIPPING THEM in the streets.

Durban, South Africa is in shear chaos today as tens-of-thousands riot, loot, smash, and burn. It initially began as a protest to "Free Zuma." The former president has been sentenced to 15 months prison for contempt of court. The protests descended almost instantly into criminal "get free ****."

Thanks for posting. Fascinating. To be perfectly honest, it does not look that much different to all the BLM riots in the US in 2020 - also Burning, looting, murdering, with minimum police intervention for a variety of reasons, and still continuing especially in places like Portland.

The armed citizens in South Africa seem to be better equipped to fight back than the US citizens, though. This is probably because they have been at it much longer, and also, they do not have a very effective malicious Criminal InJustice System like in the US, where people defending themselves are prosecuted, and perpetrators are treated as victims.

This is possibly because South Africa was one of the first pilot projects for this chaos model, which has now been exported and rolled out to the US, and other Western Countries.

In the end, I see the same pattern emerging globally:

The entire world seems to be tumbling into chaos. I can't help but think this is a very bad sign.

Yes , this certainly won't be like the summer of love in Portland this year around the world. Here in the states the Fentanyl drug issue is getting very, very, much worse and the amount of gang violence is being displayed in Chicago every weekend now. Open borders means many more numbers to fill the gangs. Chicago had over 100 shooting this weekend, there are 100,000 gang members in Chicago and 27,000 police of which only 1/3 are on duty at any given time, that's 10 gang members to 1 police officer, and every police officer is under the scrutiny of a phone camera per stop, with the law breaking side abiding by no rules. Its just a powder keg being filled up for the end of summer bang. The police have already been defunded, and betrayed in so many ways , they are retiring in huge numbers now and not getting involved or putting themselves in jeopardy for their career or family. How do you deal rationally and calmly with someone that feels absolutely no pain that is higher than a kite. I spoke with one woman whose son is a cop, he responded to a call of domestic violence . People that called were baiting him to loose his cool and do something on camera, why? big pay day is something happens, millions now. The cop saw what was happening and told everyone they were leaving and not even taking a report. Basically you all figure it out yourselves. FYI Los Angeles has 50,000 ms 13 gang members . Remember when Trump wanted to stamp out and deport all of this? Havn't heard a word since Trumps been gone have you?

This is beginning to filter into small town America as well... Spreading like a plague. Sad really, when the powers that be sell out the ideals for a country that was meant to be free... All for money. Drugs, illegal activities, and it seems to be encouraged these days. Our area in California is facing the same issues. The police have their hands tied, and the criminals are having a field day.

Soon we will be no different than South Africa, gun bearing citizens trying to keep their country in one piece as those with nothing to hang onto, as they were given everything, want more. it will be a mess, and if we continue at this pace, it will happen sooner than later, and they seemingly want this to happen. Sad indeed.

I don't see anyone dropping dead or even wounded.

Most probably ,those looters are the poorest of the poor, victims of the society. Those malls belongs to the rich most probably the once taking advantage of the poor. Looting will bring the gap of the poor and rich closer. Another thing that I like is "the government losing control" Yes governments must lost control If society is to evolve for the better.
As mentioned above this is an experimental scenario, the planners wants violence and more death, if successful expect to see it in every country. BUT this can easily be countered and make it backfire. If this happens in your place be sure to initiate a "peace corner". A faction that does not take any side of violence but rather help everyone in need. regardless of color affiliation or anything.

Red face Re: Turmoil in South Africa: Complete societal collapse - rioters being shot dead by armed citizens after police pull-back; looters being **whipped**

    Hi Everyone

I live in South Africa and just thought I would provide some inside information.

Yes it is bad but the government hasn't lost control. The looters were shot at with rubber bullets by police and security officials,
off duty civilian reserves, law enforcement etc. In return the looters have fired back with live ammunition and stone throwing to antagonize the officials.

This unrest is not happening in the whole of South Africa only in certain cities within 2 provinces. The police resources have been spread thin because of the amount of looters involved. The military have been called in to provide support in these areas.

This is not just about Jacob Zuma or because of poverty and inequality, there is a political factional agenda within the ruling party.

Theses looters are not taking from the rich they are taking from there own people who are small business owners and on a larger scale it affects their community the most including people losing much need jobs as a result.

The problem now is that the rest of the people in those areas will not have access to basic needs. The businesses will take months to repair thats if they can ever reopen their doors again. This means the people will have to drive long distances to acquire much needed goods. Food shortages are the biggest concern now. No goods will be transported in because they have burned down the trucks, this includes petrol.

It's a sad situation to witness.

Please take note that it is not an easy process to obtain a fire arm in South Africa, it can take up to a year or longer to receive approval for a licence.

However there are issues regarding illegal fire arms and the looters who have fired back at the officials have most likely used the illegal kind.

    All the best to you

A very concise view from a South African.
sent by friends to me today.

    ...........................................................................

To my followers outside of South Africa; here is a thread for you to better understand what is currently going on in the country.

As would be expected some of the reporting has been solid but much of it has been sensationalist or simply off the mark.

First up a disclaimer. This isn’t a thread aimed at highlighting isolated incidents of violence or looting, of which there are plenty, but rather one in which I will try to provide insight into what is happening and more importantly why these events are taking place.

The narrative you may have heard is that the former President (2009 - 2018) of the country, Jacob Zuma, has been jailed for contempt of court after refusing to appear at the Zondo Commission, a commission of inquiry he established to probe widespread State corruption.

One of the issues with setting up a commission to establish the extent of Government corruption and so-called “State capture” is that as the head or former head of State you’re likely to be asked some difficult questions. Zuma isn’t big on difficult questions.
As such he looked for every excuse under the sun (illness, bias, jurisdiction etc.) in an ultimately futile attempt to avoid appearing at the commission. The commission then escalated the matter to the courts and the Constitutional Court found Zuma in contempt.

He was then sentenced to 15 months imprisonment for the contempt. It bears mentioning at this point that Zuma is yet to stand trial for more than 700 charges of corruption, fraud, and money laundering emanating from an arms deal more than 20 years ago.
Naturally the former President has some supporters in the country, many of whom believe that he has been hard done by. There is also the issue of tribalism whereby Zuma is a Zulu man in a country with several ethnic groups of which the Zulu nation is the largest (12 million).

Following a week of uncertainty Zuma handed himself over to police and was jailed last week. Subsequent to this there have been protest marches by supporters and in recent days violent rioting and looting by various groups of people.

However this is not the full story.
South Africa is a complex country, no different to many others but perhaps unique in how it came to be, it’s oppressive past, and it’s way of dealing (or not dealing) with all of the aforementioned. These issues are just a part of where we find ourselves now.
In 1994 when the country had its first democratic elections the African National Congress (ANC) was elected to power and their leader at the time, Nelson Mandela, installed by them as President. Mandela, as is well documented, was a conciliatory man who preached unity.
Thus unity (“the rainbow nation”) was the message and together with a relatively robust economic policy (GEAR) which prioritized GDP growth and sound management of the fiscus as well as relatively free market economics. Things were far from perfect but they were on the up.

For the average citizen, including the poor there was improvement, albeit slow, in both living standards and general poverty. However the ANC is a conflicted party, having made a deal with the communist devil in the 60’s and then buying Soviet propaganda whole later on.

Thus a laissez-faire approach to the economy was always doomed to fail, or more appropriately was doomed to be sabotaged. After Mandela the ANC moved steadily towards far more central control and planning of both the economy (ASGISA, GNP, NDP) and of society at large.

Government pushed socialism and identity politics hard through poor social welfare and measures like enforced race based employment/businesses, and academics/journalists/business leaders all responded in kind by endorsing these policies and foisting them upon society at large.
In the end the only people who benefitted were a handful of well connected individuals and already wealthy elites. The GDP growth began to slow and the real economy started to shrink. Fewer jobs and opportunities for the poor was the net result.

Undeterred the populace which actually votes (a minority) continued to elect the ANC, who in turn continued to install progressively poorer and poorer leaders (Mbeki; Zuma; Ramaphosa). A lot can be said of Zuma and his corrupt ways, but one thing he isn’t is an ideologue.

In comes Cyril Ramaphosa as the President of the country. A former trade unionist, a committed communist at heart, and a man who had used those race based policies (Black economic empowerment [BEE]) to become a billionaire. He takes over with the country at a precipice.
He’s no stranger to the situation having been Zuma’s Deputy President (2014 - 2018) and having presided over such failures as the collapse of our electricity generation to the point that we’ve now had regular blackouts (called loadshedding) for more than a decade on and off.

Ramaphosa is also well aware of the very high unemployment in the country and a deepening divide between the classes. He approaches this by doubling down on socialist policy based on failed Soviet era policy which his party calls the “National Democratic Revolution”.
It’s important to note that Ramaphosa and the ANC policy is largely and vocally supported by almost every major news editor, academic, large corporation etc. and that any push back is deemed to be either racist or right wing or some other ad hominen.

Given this background of a failing country, a corrupt State, and a largely unemployed and hopeless populace - enter stage left COVID-19. It’s still too early to tell for sure but it appears as if Ramaphosa/Government viewed this as the ideal scapegoat for all their failures.

As with most other countries in the world we too panicked at the existence of a novel virus, and in March of 2020 Ramaphosa instituted a lockdown for “21 days to flatten the curve”. To do this he instituted a state of disaster which more than 16 months later remains in place.

At one point SA had the harshest lockdown in the world with bans on such items as open toed shoes and cooked chicken. To this day we remain in lockdown having moved into and out of harsher restrictions over time. Lockdowns have been the straw which broke the camels back.

In developed countries lockdowns have taken their toll, but Governments have been able to mitigate some of the damage by printing trillions of dollars and falling back on a competent if not ideal social welfare system. We simply didn’t have either option available to us.

I was talking to someone last night about all this free money here in the states that is being given out which is exactly why we are not having riots here at present , Here in the state of Michigan maximum unemployment that can be collected is $362.00 a week U.S. Add to that the supplemental federal payout per week of $300.00 per week which lasts to September. And this month the federal government starts giving your child tax credit back per month of $300.00 per kid in your household per month .

So if you had 4 children at home and were unemployed at present you will now be collecting $3848.00 a month for staying at home. Employers cannot find any help, the hotel restaurant down the street needs to hire 24 staff members and 4 managers, has found none in 2 months, A dairy farmer was here at my place last night , he can't find anyone either, went thru 12 guys this spring , fruit market and pizza place both closed here in town on Sundays now. Maybe 1% of the population in this state is wearing a mask , its challenging, sad, and frustrating to what is happening here . As long as the money keeps flowing there is no reason to riot which is totally opposite of what's happening in south Africa.

I should correct myself, even if this money wasn't being given out there are currently 9 million job openings here in the U.S. , I don't see riots happening period, people will just have to go back to work again in my opinion.

Thank you for providing these links. The above article is KEY, because while everyone is understandably focused on the violence and destruction, it just so happens that this one aspect fits PERFECTLY with the goals of The Great Reset/Fourth Industrial Revolution:

Quote As the worst violence in years plagues South Africa, the country's largest oil refinery, Sapref, has shuttered operations "due to the civil unrest in the country and disruption of supply routes in and out of Kwazulu-Natal," the company said.

"Due to the civil unrest in the country and disruption of supply routes in and out of Kwazulu-Natal, suppliers of materials critical to SAPREF operations communicated the suspension of deliveries to the refinery due to safety concerns for their staff and damages to their vehicles on the roads," the statement read...There's also concern that fuel stations across some regions of South Africa could soon run dry. Sapref has declared "force majeure," meaning it cannot honor supply contracts....

...Ramaphosa warned that shortages from food to medicines could be imminent.
So...for ostensibly completely different reasons, it just so happens that coincidentally a set of circumstances unique to South Africa happens to ALSO set off a supply chain disruption leading to mass shortages of food, medicine, fuel, etc.

God (if there is one) Help us all, and especially those in South Africa, but it is increasingly worldwide.

I believe the ultimate goal here is a global government, one world order. All the problems real or perceived over the last decade have been global in nature and it has not been enough for the world to start screaming for a golobal government, i.e. immigration, climate change, pandemic, race relations to name a few. Global chaos is another effort to make people believe the solution is a global government.

Monkey interview Pieter on the ground in SA. Amazing how this sounds like the same strategy they are using on the US.

I am not meaning to go off topic - so read this as part of this topic.

Can South Africa's problems be fixed by South Africa alone? How about other poor countries that could use help from other people around the world?

It seems to me that individually, only some countries have flourished while others just survive and other's are in need of help.

I am not a globalist in the sense of "control" like we are seeing by the bankers. But we are all here together on Earth. I understand that it is important to have borders for some reasons. And we should protect, enjoy and celebrate world cultures.

We are not doing better as individual countries competing and having governments manipulating wars, terror and poverty. There needs to be some kind of world government that has power and the support to do good things while allowing people to keep and protect their history, culture and traditions.

    How do we get there?

And to bring it to the topic of this thread - how does the world help South Africa and other parts of the continent?

I realize covid and the crap around this is causing problems first and foremost. But if that was resolved, how could we move forward to fix things?

We need to get rid of money, or the power that the greed of money creates. Religion, although a major part of culture has to be sorted out so it can not be used as a tool for bad things.

People are fighting for food and shelter mostly. Free energy would be a bigger game changer than many people realize. The ones in power want to keep their power, obviously.

I have been seeing too much sadness, hurt, the destruction of our environment with the weather modification. It makes me wonder who is pushing the buttons. We need to reach people and pull them out of the mind controlling and really single out who/what is at the root of our problem.

Africa does not deserve to be destroyed. Australia, Canada, Russia, USA, South America, Europe Asia and everywhere else - so many beautiful places and it's all being messed up right under our feet!

An interesting video from a guy who was born and bred in SA, left SA to live in China for 14 years and now lives in the USA for the moment but still has family and friends in SA

Some gut-wrenching footage here even though he made sure he cut the worst things out out his video.

What seems very clear is that the whole thing has been organized and orchestrated, it's not just random looters.
He says it's not black and white, it's about the poor people getting hit the worst. The food factories are being destroyed so it looks like the plan is to cause food shortages.
Warning: He's usually a friendly, polite guy, but in this vieo you can see his frustration and he is being quite blunt.

I am happy for these people. They are tearing down the old non functional system to build a new and better one. Soon they will be on the look for a system to adapt. This will be an opportunity for light workers to cast their magic. Set up a community pantry a free public health center help everyone.

Things like this might not happen where I am. In most situation when things turned to worst, people here come together and help each other.I am glad that "walking dead and similar movies/ subliminals, that program us to take the worst path did not succeed.
