    Monty Python is and always will be one of my favorites tv-shows ever. It's still funny and very well done and you can watch it almost anytime again.

    Rowan Atkinson and John Cleese. These two seem to be very good togerther.

    I LOVE The Clitheroe Kid, especially Alfie Hall's ability to get so confused over the simplest things....

    I didn't find this until a long time after it was originally aired, but glad that I did....

    I used to like Keeping Up Appearances back when I had a TV. The characters were so well written you knew exactly what they would do no matter the situation. Hyacinth lives her whole life in the eyes of others. Special props to Onslow for his Packers shirt. And of course both Roses ...

    There's the unique humour of Victoria Wood, this is The Ballad of Barry and Freda, aka Let's Do It. I watched this years ago with my mum and our eyes were streaming:

    There's also a very short clip from her series Victoria Wood; As Seen on TV with a snobby TV presenter:

    Anyone remember Julie Walters, Two Soups? This is a shortened version, unfortunately;

    The Andre Previn sketch!

    Classic old school variety show humour. First time I saw this as a kid I laughed myself silly, still do today. Morecambe and Wise were geniuses at making fun of serious people. Watch, laugh, admire.

    Here's some Scottish-Italian humour. lol well kinda

    Also I'd argue it's more bizarre than Monty Python and some of the best satire in existence!! I'm a huge fan

    Armando Iannucci's Time Trumpet; a dross documentary falls back in time from 2031 (to 2006). The documentary reflects on Tesco's war on Denmark.

    One British classic is Rising Damp, a comedy about landlord Rigsby and his tenants. It probably wouldn't be shown today as not being suitable to woke audiences, particularly with the rapport between Rigsby and his black tenant Philip Smith, but the joke is that Philip is much wiser and smarter than Rigsby. He spins a lot of yarns to Rigsby that are are swallowed hook, line and sinker, such as being the son of an African chief.

    It has a great cast; Leonard Rossiter, Frances de la Tour, Don Warrington and Richard Beckinsale. Here's an 8 minute clip.

    I noticed no one put any bits of ‘Peep Show”. It’s a brilliant show about 2 roommates.

    Yeah, that's a good one. I just recently watched the whole series. Another one, Spaced. Highly recommended.
