Default Eight-mile cliff wall of prehistoric paintings discovered in the Amazon rainforest

An eight-mile wall of prehistoric rock art featuring animals and humans has been discovered in the Amazon rainforest.

It is believed that these ancient images, which give a glimpse into a now lost civilisation, were created by some of the first ever humans to reach the Amazon.

"We started seeing animals that are now extinct. The pictures are so natural and so well made that we have few doubts that you’re looking at a horse, for example. The ice-age horse had a wild, heavy face. It’s so detailed, we can even see the horse hair. It’s fascinating." stated Ella Al-Shamahi, an archaeologist. It is unclear whether the paintings had a sacred purpose but Iriarte noticed that many large animals are surrounded by humans with their arms raised – seemingly in a pose of worship. (Hell, probably trying to scare them off ...skywizard)

The historical artwork, which is now being called the ‘Sistine Chapel of the ancients’, was uncovered on cliff faces in the Chiribiquete National Park, Columbia, by a British-Columbian team of archaeologists.

The date of the paintings has been based on the portrayal of extinct animals from the ice age such as the mastodon – a prehistoric relative of the elephant which hasn’t been seen in South America for at least 12,000 years. There are also depictions of palaeo lamas – an extinct member of the camel family, as well as giant sloths and ice age horses.

They are convinced there are many more paintings to be found in the region and the team will be visiting again as soon as the coronavirus pandemic allows.

Because a Mastodon appears among the pictues of the cliff, it can be presumed to have existed pre-ice age. What I find interesting is the squares, some looking like old T.V. screens complete with snow and other distortions on the screens. Also, some of the waves depicted look like distorted sign waves. Most interesting is that also appears what looks like our modern electronic SQUARE WAVES. People in electronics should have a close look at these pictures when they are published.

Many years ago, I remember reading that South America was settled by humans, perhaps GIANTS doing advanced agriculture in FLAT AREAS, signs of which still exist. Also there were reports of fruit in huge sizes such as a GIANT may need to consume. For instance, a grape may be the size of a large grapefruit. This harks back to the Biblical report of the Isrealites who returned to Moses with reports that they found GIANTS in the land, and a bunch of grapes was so large and heavy that it required several men to carry one on poles (that is the mental picture I got). So much has been hidden from us deliberately. We were once advanced and had to start all over again after the global flood. I found evidence of Giants in the area of Patagonia which were one-half mile in height. They may even have existed much much earlier.

It also is possible that Doug Auld, in a previous incarnation, may have been busy preserving history for us on those cliff faces.

A postscript to my above post: The "signwaves" may also represent ocean waves.

Almost started a thread on this topic myself, thought a search was in order.

Quote Speculating on whether the paintings had a sacred or other purpose, he said: “It’s interesting to see that many of these large animals appear surrounded by small men with their arms raised, almost worshipping these animals.”

Observing that the imagery includes trees and hallucinogenic plants, he added: “For Amazonian people, non-humans like animals and plants have souls, and they communicate and engage with people in cooperative or hostile ways through the rituals and shamanic practices that we see depicted in the rock art.”

Al-Shamahi added: “One of the most fascinating things was seeing ice age megafauna because that’s a marker of time. I don’t think people realise that the Amazon has shifted in the way it looks. It hasn’t always been this rainforest. When you look at a horse or mastodon in these paintings, of course they weren’t going to live in a forest. They’re too big. Not only are they giving clues about when they were painted by some of the earliest people – that in itself is just mind-boggling – but they are also giving clues about what this very spot might have looked like: more savannah-like.”
