Quote Winter Olympics skier with history of heart problems collapses as rivals rush to help

THERE were disturbing scenes at the Winter Olympics on Sunday as a Norwegian skier collapsed.

    By JORDAN SEWARD
    00:08, Mon, Feb 14, 2022 | UPDATED: 18:46, Mon, Feb 14, 2022

Winter Olympics skier Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold collapsed on Sunday sparking huge fears. The Norwegian athlete, who has a history of heart problems, fell to the ground in a heap and appeared motionless after crossing the line in the biathlon 10km pursuit final. Concerned rivals rushed to her aid before Tandrevold was carried away by members of Norway's coaching team.

The 25-year-old is said to be 'conscious' but the reason for her collapse is not yet known with her manager Per Arne Botnan insisting he doesn't have any information.

Tandrevold had been in medal contention but struggled badly in the final lap of the race and eventually finished in 14th before immediately collapsing.

Tandrevold only recently discovered she suffers from atrial fibrillation – an irregular heartbeat - having collapsed during an event in Oberhof earlier this year.

The Norwegian star, who also required assistance after the 7.5 km sprint on Friday and later admitted to 'not remembering much' of the end of the race, said at the time of finding out about her medical condition: "I have a few extra beats on my heart sometimes. I knew that, especially in the context of shooting, when the heart rate goes down and up quickly.

"It’s not dangerous, so it shouldn’t concern me so much."

Team doctor Lars Kolsrud however confirmed that her heart condition was not a factor in her collapse on Sunday, telling Norwegian media outlet NRK: “She tried everything she did to catch up with [silver medalist Elvira Oeberg] and simply ran out.

“We measured it a little bit and we were able to measure heart rate. She was conscious all the way."

Sad news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Stanford University goalkeeper Katie Meyer at 22 years of age.

This continues the trend of sudden and unexpected deaths in athletes with no cause of death given or explained.

Also continuing without explanation or official investigation is the trend of medical emergencies amongst the supporters of sports.

The sad trend continues with today's news of the sudden and unexpected death of Australian cricket legend Shane Warne.

He died at the age of 52, suspected to be caused by a heart attack. Previously Warne had taken at least two jabs, fell ill with coronavirus and was treated on a 'special ventilator' to prevent long covid.

Wow. First I've read of this now. RIP. True legend. A man who loved the ladies, and apparently made the cricket ball spin in ways that appeased many. Cricket has never interested me, but he seemed like a good sort of a bloke. Let's not assume his death is related to the jab. I prefer to assume he was having a big old bender. In any case, I think he's in a better place. Besides, I have previously read that he was an avid poker player, in which case the number 52 seems fitting.

If the jabs are in any way linked to the death, you can be sure that information won't be revealed. In any case, I'm tired of how weak people are these days. I wonder if God is being kind to those who are being shown the exit lately.

Just now I remember once reading that Warney had a mirror on his ceiling so that he could observe and refine his ability in the bedroom. I really respect that level of dedication to the craft. Evidently applicable in multiple areas of his life.

On another note, in relation to the topic of this thread... I recently read that Western Australia is making the third jab mandatory (despite the fact that nobody seems to be suffering more than an itchy throat from the virus), which could complicate things for those who represent teams from interstate. I wonder if it will ever become relevant that nobody cares any more. Quite frankly, I think we are all aware that the jabs are totally unnecessary. Those who rushed in and said they were "doing their bit for everyone else" will now have to suffer the consequences. Those of us (with backbones) who elected not to sell our souls may eventually be allowed to enter venues that do not require "proof of vaccination" (which we already have anyway, lol)... I just wonder what will be more prevalent in the next 12 months -- those who gloat about how many jabs they've had, or those who gloat about how they didn't get jabbed at all because they are not spineless little worms.

Everyone I know is triple jabbed and they've all had covid. Here I am wondering if I've had it. Why would I even want to know? So I can be forcefully locked away for a week? Lol. What a ridiculous sh!t-show. I think guys like Warney, and I daresay myself (albeit without any legacy like his, but that's basically an egotistical desire, isn't it?), don't belong here. Quite a silly state of affairs. Then it hit me... Maybe it's all just about fighting.

If I can dedicate myself to fighting those I am unimpressed by, using my talent of speaking in an articulate manner while saying nothing at all, perhaps I can achieve something. But then who cares anyway?

It now seems to be emerging that he'd had his third booster (his fourth jab in all) 4 days before he died.

I have no source for this other than Australian YouTube comments, but I'd not bet against it being true. Aussie vaxx researchers are on to this story, and I doubt it will go away.

While many North Americans or Europeans may never have heard of him, he may be the highest profile global celebrity to have been killed by the vaxx so far.

And he was a celebrity, at the Mohammad Ali level in the cricketing world: a once-in-a generation sporting genius, at the same time an inspirational and irrepressible character who was loved by everyone. He was an Australian national treasure, an icon at the highest level. There's even going to be a widely-televised state funeral, a rare thing.

His fiancée was British actress Liz Hurley:

All of the NAY SAYERS are afraid for their jobs. It is as plain as a boil on your nose that these athletes have blood clots and CHAINS linked by GRAPHENE MAGNETS TO THE IRON IN THEIR RED BLOOD CELL WHICH BLOCK THE HEART VALVES FROM WORKING.

A friend of mine overseas owns a tourist accommodation, now run by her son, although owned by her. They were afraid that refusing the JABS would cause the government to close them down, so all three generations took the series. This manufacturer or JABS is out of INDIA. She, over 65, went into spasm and a special emergency team was called which went to work on her immediately to save her life. Fortunately, she has an oxygen machine which helped her until the team could arrive. I would like someone to tell me the name of the JABS being manufactured in India. They are sure to be just as lethal. I believe that this brand is the type with Magnetic Graphine Chains which cause the blood to clump, clot, and block heart valves and blood vessels. PEOPLE, YOU MUST FIGHT BACK. LAWYER UP, MAKE YOUR EMPLOYERS COMMIT THEMSELVES IN WRITING, CONTRACT FORM. When a few of them get sued to hell, they will back down. Since when can Government Execute its citizens without legal cause? Also, since when can any old Representative cause laws to be made to FORCE DEATH ON ITS CITIZENS LIKE THIS? TIME FOR EVERYONE TO PUT THEIR FEET DOWN!!!

Another for the list of medical emergencies in the crowd:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60534231

Quote Bolton kept their play-off hopes alive as they beat struggling Gillingham 3-0 at Priestfield to claim a ninth league victory in 12 games...

...The start of the second half was delayed by four minutes following a medical emergency involving a member of the stadium's security team.

Haven't you heard? Nothing to see here folks. It's official, Mr. Warne died of "natural causes." That narrows it down and solves the mystery doesn't it...? Yeah right.

This may be the saddest cardiac events to date that I have seen. It looks like a class of PE students that are walking around the gym for exercise when one of the students collapses on the floor.

Of all the kids walking by him only one kid pays attention enough to actually stop. and stands there for a moment. A few slow down their walk and look briefly from a distance.

The video skips to the scene where it looks like they are performing CPR. He is then taken away on a stretcher.

I find this so surreal that no body seems to care, or if they do they don't seem to show it. Why wouldn't anyone approach their fellow student directly? He did stumble and fall. Has much of the human race become that indifferent to the welfare of another? I understand that I am not hearing what is happening and am not getting the whole picture, perhaps someone called for the "authorities" but only one kid actually stopped or showed any level of concern at all, absolutely mind boggling.

Shane Warne was booster jabbed 2 days before his death. Total Coincidence, says the department for funny walks.
