Everything is arranged for the royals and by their pagan calendar I suspect. It isn't a coincidence that Charles assended to the throne to the second of the Full Moon or that the Queen died on the 8th just in time anymore than it was coincidence for the day of the birth of William and Kate's fisrt son! I had a feeling this was not quite legit.....I believe this type of thing is quite easy to fake by posting multiple possible dates from a private account and deleting them as needed until 'hey presto' you are left with the accurate prediction...

Queen Elizabeth II’s passing has sparked an outpouring of mourning across the world, but in many places, the end of her reign is also raising questions about what the future holds.

Over a dozen countries recognized the late monarch as their head of state, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Belize, Jamaica, Tuvalu, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. Her death is likely to ignite debate about whether her successor, King Charles III, should fulfill that role. Already, there have been calls for change.

Adam Bandt, the leader of Australia’s Greens Party, posted condolences to the Queen’s family on Twitter. But he added “Now Australia must move forward,” saying “We need [a] Treaty with First Nations people, and we need to become a Republic.”

Katie Pickles, a professor of history at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, says “As the importance of the monarchy became less important in society, places like New Zealand hung on because they held the Queen personally in such high respect.”

She tells TIME: “King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla will likely not have the same appeal.”

Cindy McCreery, a senior lecturer in history at the University of Sydney who specializes in monarchy and colonialism, agrees that republican sentiment will be given impetus.

“I do think that now that the Queen has passed on, that does give republicans in Australia and elsewhere more room to speak openly about the constitutional future and to kind of prepare the path for a republic,” McCreery says.

Anti-monarchist sentiment in the Caribbean

In some countries anti-monarchist sentiment has grown in tandem with racial justice movements, bringing anti-colonialist thinking and conversations on Indigenous rights into the mainstream.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge faced a raft of protests on a trip through the Caribbean in March, with some groups demanding an apology and reparations for slavery. William and Kate cancelled a visit to a cacao farm, the first stop on their tour of Belize, because of protests.

Ahead of their visit to Jamaica, an open letter released by the Advocates Network, and signed by more than 100 local leaders, said: “During her 70 years on the throne, your grandmother has done nothing to redress and atone for the suffering of our ancestors that took place during her reign and/or during the entire period of British trafficking of Africans, enslavement, indentureship and colonization.”

According to McCreery, “Particularly countries in the Caribbean, which of course have that very painful legacy of British slavery in the past, I think they are more likely to be among the states that choose to become republics.”

In June, Jamaica’s Minister of Legal and Constitutional Affairs, Marlene Malahoo Forte, said that the process of transitioning to a republic had “formally commenced.”

Barbados, once called “Little England” for its tight British ties, became a republic in late 2021.

Republicanism in Australasia

The Australian Republic Movement, which wants an Australian to replace the British King or Queen as the head of state, declined to provide a comment for this article. But in a statement issued after the Queen’s death, it hinted at a political opportunity. “It is unlikely we will ever see a Monarch as respected or admired by the Australian people again,” said Peter FitzSimons, chair of the movement.

In June 2022, Australia appointed Matt Thistlethwaite, a former republican campaigner, as its first ever assistant minister for the republic, to help oversee the country’s potential transition.

“We’ve got this unique opportunity with a Queen coming to the end of her reign, for us to now lay the groundwork so that when that does happen in the future, we’re ready to go with a campaign and a chance to really create a truly independent nation,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald in an interview published on Sept. 3.

In 2016, then leader of New Zealand’s Labour Party, Andrew Little, said that “the end of the reign of the current monarch would be a good time to debate our constitutional arrangements. Do we still want to have our head of state living in London? Or do we want to do something else? Stand on our own two feet?”

New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said in 2021 that she thinks the country will become a republic in her lifetime.

Rawiri Waititi, a member of New Zealand’s parliament and the co-leader of the Māori Party, said on Twitter on Friday that “the huge vacuum left” by the Queen’s death “will cause debate.”

One New Zealand republican, who asked not to be named, told TIME that “There’s that very strong feeling of nostalgia with the Queen that doesn’t transfer to her son or grandchildren.”

“I think this is very much a moment when the discussion about possible moves to become republics will open up,” McCreery concludes. “I think that there was a great sense of restraint during the Queen’s reign.”

Greetings all,

Been watching this thread since yesterday and feel impelled to join in.

I’m disappointed in some of the comments e.g. ‘who cares if some shrivelled up old woman died”. Under any circumstances, about any person, that is simply an oafish thing to say. I can only assume that and similar comments are by those utterly convinced that the theory posited by David Icke is unquestionably true.

I have yet to be convinced, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, as they say, and I am still of the opinion that while David has delivered some big truth bombs over the years, material, I might add, that some of us were already well aware of in the early nineties, except for the sudden assertion that the royals were shapeshifting lizards that tortured and ate children, that was not backed up with any evidence. Ex satanic high priestess Arizona Wilder did not strike me as an unquestionably reliable source. I felt then, as I do now that the best place to hide a massive lie is right in between some big truths. Without irrefutable evidence it is the most pernicious and poisonous idea. Witness the comments here. It inspires hatred.

If I were the Devil, the head of the church would be a prime target, traumatise and disperse the faithful. Job done.

I have no doubt that there are satanists and the demonically possessed and I endlessly despair over the horrors mankind can think up to inflict on one another in this predatory world. Worse than any other animal. But symbolically, the Queen stood for all that is good. What if the ‘royals’ really are sincere Christians that take on as a sacred duty to better the lot of their country and the world? Many Britons just take that at face value. This is why she was loved. Call the plebs. naive if you like, but it’s not a bad thing to stand for.

Elizabeth the Great as she’ll likely be known in the history books, thanks to Boris Johnson’s tribute is, like it or not, a monumental figure. His words revealed a classically educated man steeped in the traditions and who understands the ‘hocus pocus’ as one journalist described the Queen’s coronation. That’s not to say I admire Boris Johnson, he’s a disgrace, just pointing out that a classical education is strictly for the elite nowadays. There’s clearly an agenda, but whether it can be laid at the Queen’s feet is open to question.

If a genie came to you and said, ‘here, you can be the richest person in the world, but you will have no real freedom ever, be told what to do and always be bound by archaic and demanding protocols for the rest of your life’. How would you like it? (I’m sure I’d do an ‘Edward’ and run away). I loved my freedom, the 1950s to 1990s were the best time for a woman to be alive in all of history as far as I can tell. Helen Mirren said “I’m proud to have been an Elizabethan”. Me too. It was a good era for so many of us.

I’ll be listening for Charles’ speech tonight, though I’m sure he’d rather be tucked under a duvet with Camilla being soothed at the loss of his beloved mummy and the prospect of having to finally take up the yoke at 73 when most people get to retire.

I’m not some flag-waving royalist that queues up in the rain for a glimpse of a new Royal baby btw - but show me a republic that is a beacon of integrity, justice, wisdom and compassion. The loss of that is the saddest thing of all.

It’s all circus and ponies at the end of the day, I guess. Harry was suitably punished by being the last to Balmoral and Meghan left out in the cold? Bet that was Camilla’s idea. The palace intrigues will continue as they have done for centuries in all corridors of power. Flawed humans and for all the privilege and alleged thriving on baby blood, they have joys and suffering and grow old and die, just like the rest of us.

The whole truth of it all will make a good movie one day.

But perhaps it already is, just that.

In any case, I give respect to, for all intents and purposes, a woman that played her part dutifully and beautifully, a part that was unexpectedly thrust upon her and she rose to the task admirably. Not many of us could have done as well. God bless the Queen, may she rest in peace.

An impassioned post. It is hard to not agree with most of your stated points. Yes, she devoted her life to Royal protocol and duty and I am sure that she cared deeply about her family.

Her love for humanity as a whole, on the other hand, is questionable.

The Duchy of Lancaster, the Queens private estate (purse), is one of the biggest private investors in arms manufacturing. Depleted uranium, ammunition, land mines, mechanised armour.......... The list goes on and on. A conservative estimate has The Duchy of Lancaster holding assets of some £700 Million as of 2022

This was one of the reasons why Diana took-up the mantle and became the 'face' of the movement to ban the use of anti-personnel landmines. It was a 'dig' at the Queen.

Surely this is in direct conflict to the position of the head of the Church of England, and to one who cares deeply of her 'subjects'.

But to our shame the British government is heavily invested in trading arms and supplying despots around the world. Far too much hypocrisy in this once cherished bastion of moral fortitude. Will Charles make changes? I don’t know. The moral conflicts might drive him mad, like one of his forbears who, bullied by the government to impose a tax he was against, lost the colonies!

Now here's a tangled web. There is Crown property, which includes some royal palaces, then the revenues of the Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall, and then there's their personal wealth, which includes some residences such as Sandringham.

Then there are the art treasures and all the jewellery, some of which is personal property and some is owned by the Crown.

The personal wealth of the monarch is managed under a trust by the Bank of England; this is kept private and is therefore secret. Calls have been made in the past for this to be made public, but to no avail. The Queen owned a stud farm in Virginia, I assume that's part of her personal wealth, and I also read once that she owned vast tracts of land in Colorado.

With our troubles in this country and the health service in terminal decline, I have been thinking that they could sell off a few baubles and that would keep our health service running for a few more years so that many could get the treatment they need.

Thank you for this Mark, I’m so glad to hear Mr Peterson speaking to the slavery issue that I see flung in the face of Britain so often by assorted hate movements.
