    Default MrBallen

    Have you guys heard of this dude? Former navy seal and goes by the handle "MrBallen". He's on YouTube telling "strange, dark, and mysterious" stories. Has millions of followers. And a seemingly endless supply of these stories.

    What's so special about that, Mike? Well he's an excellent story teller, for starters. Secondly, these are all true stories, not old wives tales or urban legends. He tells a few David Paulides stories for example (but those are, surprisingly, not even close to the most disturbing ones)

    If you enjoy high strangeness and like being disturbed, this guy is for you. I will warn you: once you listen to one story you will not be able to stop.

    I'll start you guys off with a pretty good one: "Valley Of The Headless Men". It's about gold prospectors in Canada facing off against a very sinister supernatural force in the Nahanni Valley. Put the popcorn on and enjoy. It's bloody insane.

    These videos range from 15 to 30 mins, roughly. This one is closer to 30. But well worth it if you have the time.

    There is a lot of uninhabited wilderness country space here in North America.
    (I maybe could have said that better, but the emphasis is that there is a lot.)

    Some of the creepiest stories are the ones that occur in the woods or wilderness. Some forests feel friendly, some enchanting, and some just creepy and unsettling.

    When I was a kid camping with a scout group, we had a night around a campfire and the adults were telling ghost stories.

    When it was time to go to our tent area for bed, I was walking along a path and there was a noise just off to the right of the path that made me almost piss my pants!

    I later learned that it was a porcupine - I had never heard the noise they can make and being a kid walking a dark path after ghost stories - well, that moment will not be forgotten. Lol!

    Another good one here. A French woman takes a walk into the forest and is ultimately chased out by...a bell? Very very creepy story. Little over 20 mins long:

    Another instance of us being on the same wavelength, Mike! I also discovered MrBallen recently, posting this here.

    Listen to all three tales, in particular this one, below, that starts at 13.45

    More gripping and frightening than many horror/ghost stories I've read. Creepiness factor 10.

    Do you know how to get to Bells Canyon...?

    Here's MrBallen's own personal experience. Even all these years later he's still visibly shaken by it. It really adds to the drama of this one. Highly recommended:

    Yeah, I just clicked on one of Mr. Ballen's videos and so many videos with interesting/teasing/taunting titles showed up in the sidebar.

    I am a Mr Ballen fan already and I have only watched the first video in this thread.

    Thanks for sharing Mike!

    I am also interested to see how many plaid shirts he owns too!

    One day a Mr. Ballen fan will see a guy in a plaid shirt and based upon the circumstance, instantly get creeped out as memories from one of these stories comes to mind.

    I bet it will be me first now.

    Lol!

    Mike, I really enjoyed this video, this guy has a real gift for story telling. My wife tells me that when she was living in her parent's first house, for years every night she would hear a person cooking something in the kitchen, chopping up the ingredients and cooking then (she believes this is her sister who has passed). Also every night while she lived in her parents' first house, she would hear someone turning the pages in the room next to the bedroom. She is very afraid of sleeping alone; if I'm away from home, she would leave a small light on in the bedroom all night.

    Years ago when we lived in Atlanta, GA area, she heard a noise coming from a futon couch in our bedroom for a while one night that our first cat who has passed on used to make when the cat liked to sleep on the futon couch. So who knows, maybe the spirit of our first cat visited us that night. Years later after that incident, our daughter met a friend of a friend who had rescued a feral cat. After couple of weeks of stay in that person's house, she decided to give up the cat because the other cat she already had did not like the new feral cat.

    So our daughter agreed to take the cat. When the cat arrived in our house, I recognized the cat immediately as our first cat reincarnated. Instantly the cat purred so loudly when I held him, and he played a lot of special games that he and I used to play, like hide and seek, catching my hand through under the door, etc. He was even the same color as our first cat and his facial marking was very similar to the first cat. Our first cat was also a feral cat my wife rescued from our backyard in Florida. We were reunited with our 2nd cat in Florida.

    I didn't do it originally because my laziness knows no bounds but I dug it up since I love you guys. It starts at 3:42, but I recommend watching the first story as well.:

    EDIT:I just watched this again... Honestly I don't recommend it, it's not the kind of story that is dark and interesting in an entertaining way. It's more so just plain morbid.

    Another entrance is found in the Nahanni Valley but many of those that have dared to enter this area have been found
    decapitated, thus giving the region its name ‘The Valley of the Headless Men’. The Nahanni Valley in Canada is the land of
    the Ojibways, the Slave, Dogribs, Stoney, the Beavers and the Chipweyans. It covers 250 square miles in the southern end of the
    Mackenzie Mountains of Canada and lies almost 550 miles due west of Fort Simpson on the Mackenzie River of northwest
    Canada. Hot springs and sulfur geysers keep the valley warmer than the surrounding areas by about 30 degrees year-round. This
    land of perpetual mist is viewed by the Indians as ’taboo’ and avoided.

    (to add, in the days of yore, you did ~NOT~ mess with the Ojibway. They were chief among all shamen in ancient North America.)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    I investigated. This is what I found:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~~~~~
    Hhhmmmmmmmm....
    It's all there in plain English.
    IF you know what you are looking at. The area is completely monatomic. electric. Alive. dimensional.
    Silver, BTW, is considered to be the doorway to the moon's domain, in it's monatomic form. the astral plain of 'purgatory', the dark creative realm where we all venture when dreaming those deepest dreams.
    The geologist goes on to say that the likelyhood of incredibly large numbers of catalytic reactive aquifers and chambers is probably what the water is flowing through. This is the exact case of how monatomics are made by the alchemists. The correct chemicals, precious metals at the molecular distribution level, combined with sulfides, mercury and lead, etc..then on a sealed reactive chamber at levels right around the boiling point of water -and below. In the dark, away from the sun...for months.
    THEN, out of that sealed 3 month long reaction, you get the philospoher's stone.
    The entire valley and it's waters, etc, are definitely monatomic in nature. It is probably protected by the dimensional creatures or beings who desire to be left alone.
    This is the most explicit case I've ever seen.
    The place is a millions of years old natural easy-bake oven of the doorway to dimensions and the realms of the gods.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    We are talking about the dark 'rulers of the world' ("influencers", really, not rulers) making SURE no one messes with their foodstuffs. Possibly. Meaning, to me, that the description of what is going on in the valley is correct..but what the thoughts of the beings protecting that valley are, those thoughts are obviously opaque to me.

    This is an important post IF you want to actually connect the dots together.

    There are probably places there (below the surface) where you can get a truck and a backhoe and load up on the philospoher's stone. Understand, the individual only needs micro to milligrams, AT MOST. This material --- is not a toy.
    So I shortened Carmody's post to give you his pertinent take here.
    Pretty chilling really.
    It's like a skinwalker ranch where the forces involved are much less concerned about human life and ending it.
    Carmody's post gives me chills knowing what we know now.
    Back when he made this post I didn't get the significance of it.
    I would like to see Carmody come back to the forum.
    He's been MIA for a while now.

    Also I would like to mention, I watched a really good documentary about a man and three brothers going to the Nahalli Valley back in the seventies. The documentary was top notch. He never wanted to tell anyone because he didn't want to sound crazy, but he swears he saw a giant, huge wolf there. He said the animal dwarfed any known wolf species of the time.
    I'll include the documentary if I can find it.

    The video Mike included mentions huge wolves seen in the Nahalli Valley. Also, there is the incident of the giant wolf at skin walker ranch reported by the Gorman family.

    I found the video. Way harder than I thought it would be.
    This is a first hand testimonial from Frank Graves who spent a summer in this valley back in the seventies. It's really cool.

    In a similar vein, I also listen to Beyond Creepy. He only posts once every couple of weeks but he has some really good stories. Here is one of the latest ones

    Hope I posted the link correctly
