This is one of the most interesting things I've ever listened to. I watched it maybe a decade ago when it was in about 22-24 videos at around 12-15 minute increments. He proclaims to be a 92nd degree freemason and at that level he's the holder of the keys. He's also a judge and Native Hawaiians made him their king. A lot of the video is about quantum grammar. He feels contracts should be written with that format. He was taken by aliens and they put something on his head. He said we can't live in a real world and a world of make-believe at the same time. He said there was a construction crew taking down an old house and they found his books with his name of them buried for over a hundred years and he failed to explain that. They were sealed in beeswax, and they were given back to him. He did state he hasn't aged in 35 years.

Associates and Legacy:

One of Miller's associates, Leighton Ward, who worked as a "clerk" for Miller's "Federal Postal court",[13] set up his own venture, "The Advocacy for consumer rights", in Arizona. Ward purported to help his clients change the terms of their mortgages and get refunds through the use of Miller's language. He also engaged in paper terrorism against a family, using "judgements" issued by Miller's "Federal Postal court". Ward was arrested in May 2017 and charged with various offenses, including fraudulent schemes and artifices and creating false documents.[54] During his trial, he persisted in using Miller's language in his documents and oral arguments, despite being repeatedly admonished by the court to communicate in a comprehensible fashion. The court eventually revoked his self-representation. In August 2018, he was sentenced to 23½ years in prison.[55][56][57]

In August 2017, after Miller suffered a heart attack,[24] one of his longtime collaborators,[58] Russell Jay Gould, published a video in which he purported to "court martial" Miller and to remove his authority as a "judge". The website of Miller's "Federal Postal court" later went offline.[24] Gould has since continued using the "Quantum Grammar" created by Miller, taking part in judicial proceedings and claiming to be the "postmaster-general of the world".[59]

His language has been used by various groups and individuals associated with the sovereign citizen[9][8] and freeman on the land[60] movements, including African-American "Moorish" activists.[16]

Detective Eaves testified that he researched the Advocacy for Consumer Rights and the Federal Postal Court. He stated,

I learned that the Federal Postal Court -- the judge of the Federal Postal Court was David Wynn Miller. He claimed that Benjamin Franklin started Federal Postal Court on July 4th of 1775. And then it was closed shortly thereafter in 1776. Judge Miller claims that he reopened that Court in 2012 and so he claims to be the Judge. Mr. Ward claims to be the Clerk. And this Postal Court operates on the basis that there is a sophisticated, mathematical understanding of languages that proves that certain documents are fraudulent and not enforceable.

Detective Eaves said he also learned that the Federal Postal Court was “an off-shoot of some sovereign citizen beliefs.” He explained, “So sovereign citizens are self described as that their sovereign from the United States. And they believe in . . . their interpretation of common law and don’t recognize the United [States] Government or Government statutes as the community understands them.” Detective Eaves stated that although the Federal Postal Court had an active website at that time, the court was a “sham” and did not exist.

Detective Eaves acknowledged that the default judgment entered against Wells Fargo appeared to discharge the debt the Appellant and Richard Maltese owed to Wells Fargo for their purchase of the McCanless Road home and that the judgment ordered Wells Fargo to pay the Malteses more than nine million dollars. Detective Eaves said that although judges normally signed judgments, Ward signed the judgment against Wells Fargo; Judge Miller did not sign the document.

David Wynn Miller, another tax protester/sovereign citizen guru, and his adherents, claimed that the government cannot tax their income because they are individuals without citizenship and thus are sovereign unto themselves (United States v. Kriemelmeyer, 2006). Mr. Wynn Miller went a step further than many other gurus and invented his own dialect called “In the Truth.” This dialect, he claimed, is based on mathematics, and is characterized by an overuse of prepositional phrases, hyphens, and colons and avoids the use of verbs, pronouns, adjectives, and adverbs (United States v. Kriemelmeyer, 2006). Mr. Wynn Miller has since passed away but his tactics live on and are attempted by other sovereign citizens.

There is one characteristic that distinguishes Miller’s group from others, however.

The hallmark of David Wynn Miller and his followers is their use of an English dialect they call “In the Truth.” The dialect, invented by Miller, purports to be based on mathematics and is characterized by the abundant use of prepositional phrases, the absence of action verbs (except in gerund form) and the overuse of hyphens and colons. In addition, speakers of the dialect reject the use of pronouns, adjectives and adverbs. Although defendant addressed the court in standard, intelligible English at his arraignment and at the end of his most recent hearing before the magistrate judge, his recent filings have been drafted using In the Truth. (David Wynn Miller’s signature and thumb print appear on these filings, leading me to infer that Miller has drafted the papers on defendant’s behalf.).

During the majority of his last hearing, plaintiff spoke in the dialect as well. Now, despite his well-documented prior use of standard English, defendant has moved the court to dismiss the indictment on the ground that it is not written in a language he “comprehends.” Moreover, defendant appears to argue that all filings in this case are “fictitious” because they are written in standard English (which defendant refers to a s a “fictional” or “fraudulently conveyed” language).

It would appear that Mr. Pflum intends to burden the record of this closed criminal case with a frivolous line of litigation that has been pursued by David Wynn Miller or others in different courts and there dismissed as “incomprehensible,” consisting of “indecipherable and nonsensical words and symbols,” “nonsensical conclusory statements,” “unintelligible,” “completely incoherent,” and appearing “to rest on a language, syntax and grammatical structure of the plaintiff’s own creation” that is lacking “a single comprehensible allegation of fact.” See Brooker v. The court has compared the instant filing and its arcane language and its reliance on this largely incoherent doctrine referred to as, “C.-S.-S.-C.-P.-S.-G.=Correct-Sentence-Structure-Communication-Parse-Syntax-Grammar” with filings advocated by Mr. Miller in other courts. See, e.g., Borkholder v. PNC Bank, 2012 WL 3256888 at *1-*2 (N.D. Ind. 2012).

The resemblance is plain and unmistakable. Courts have found such filings to have been made in “bad faith” and to have demonstrated “conduct which abuses the judicial process.” Brooker, 107 Fed. Cl. at 58 (internal quotation marks and citations omitted). In the exercise of their inherent power and discretion to deal with such abuses, the courts have imposed filing sanctions. Id. Most recently, one federal court has observed:

A search of for Mr. Miller's name in the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) database reveals that he has filed at least 82 lawsuits in federal courts throughout the country since 1995, and may have helped prepare many more. See, e.g., Deutsche Bank Nat. Trust Co. v. Halajian, Case No. 1:12–CV–00447 LJO, 2012 WL 1076218, at *4 (E.D.Cal. Mar.29, 2012) (noting that the defendant who filed an “incomprehensible and plainly frivolous” submission in that case was “apparently employing activist David Wynn Miller's” language).

Recently, Mr. Miller's pace has quickened; he has filed 42 lawsuits just in the last year to date. The court hasreviewed all 42 of these complaints. Each one is written in the same unintelligible style as the complaint in this action.

At least four district courts have imposed pre-filing screening orders that bar Mr. Miller from filing future suits in those districts without first obtaining leave of court.

Most dismissals were for failure to prosecute, usually because Mr. Miller and his co-plaintiffs failed to adequately amend their complaint after courts initially found them inadequate. . . . [citations omitted].

The few times a court of this district has reached the merits of one of Mr. Miller's complaints, it has dismissed it. Miller v. Washington Mutual Bank, Case No. 5:12–cv–03979–RMW (Oct. 23, 2012, report and recommendation adopted, Dec. 3, 2012); Pastor v. New Century Mortgage Corporation, Case No. 4:12–cv–01253–DMR (June 27, 2012) (dismissal for failure to prosecute and for lack of subject-matter
jurisdiction). See also San Juan v. Wells Fargo Bank, Case No. 3:12–cv–02529–CRB, 2013 WL 1501458, at *2 (N.D.Cal. Apr.11, 2013) (concluding that Mr. Miller's complaint was “largely nonsensical,” but dismissing instead on the grounds that the complaint had been voluntarily dismissed).

In addition to the districts listed above, numerous other district courts have dismissed Mr. Miller's complaints for being unintelligible. See, e.g., Miller v. Korte, 2002 WL 32350068, at *1 (W.D.Wis. Sep.11, 2002); Packer v. Rowe, 2008 WL 1946036, at *3
(E.D.Cal. May 1, 2008);Tomas v. Aegis Mortgage Co., 2011 WL 320901, at *3 (S.D.Cal. Jan.28, 2011); Charov v. Greenpoint Mortgage Funding Inc., CV–11–0007–PHX–LOA, 2011 WL 767296, at *1 (D.Ariz. Mar.1, 2011); Schwartz v. Interra Credit Union, 3:12 CV 413, 2012 WL4741588 (N.D.Ind. Oct.3, 2012).

On the basis of this record, the court is considering declaring Mr. Miller a vexatious litigant and ordering that his future filings to be screened before docketing to determine whether they are similarly unintelligible.

Abalos v. Greenpoint Mortg. Funding, Inc., 2013 WL 3243907 at *3-*4. Besides being incomprehensible, Mr. Pflum’s filing contains unintelligible references to civil rights statutes, the False Claims Act, fraud, Case 5:04-cr-40008-SAC Document 166 Filed 08/21/13 Page 4 of 5 conspiracies, and damages. None of which, in the court’s opinion, allege any legally cognizable ground for granting any relief in this criminal case that was finished in 2009 when Mr. Pflum completed his final term of incarceration and was released without further supervision. Mr. Pflum’s filing, entitled a “complaint,” appears to be an attempt to commence a new civil suit for damages, and so it should be filed as a separate case and subjected to the filing fee requirements.

Even if the court had construed the filing otherwise, there is no valid basis for allowing Mr. Pflum to proceed with this complaint in this closed criminal case. Thus, the court hereby dismisses the notice and denies Mr. Pflum any relief in this criminal case on the basis of that notice.

Should Mr. Pflum persist with such frivolous filings, the court will not hesitate to follow the lead of the other courts and impose appropriate filing sanctions.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that Mr. Pflum’s Notice (Dk. 165) is dismissed and no relief is granted in this criminal case.

The term syntax is also used to refer to the study of such principles and processes.

The goal of many syntacticians is to discover the syntactic rules common to all languages. Dependency grammar is an approach to sentence structure where syntactic units are arranged according to the dependency relation, as opposed to the constituency relation of phrase structure grammars. Dependencies are directed links between words. The (finite) verb is seen as the root of all clause structure and all the other words in the clause are either directly or indirectly dependent on this root.

Some prominent dependency-based theories of syntax are: Recursive categorical syntax, or Algebraic syntax Functional generative description Meaning–text theory Operator grammar Word grammar Lucien Tesnière (1893–1954) is widely seen as the father of modern dependency-based theories of syntax and grammar. He argued vehemently against the binary division of the clause into subject and predicate that is associated with the grammars of his day (S → NP VP) and which remains at the core of most phrase structure grammars. In the place of this division, he positioned the verb as the root of all clause structure.

David Wynn Miller (September 17,1949 – June 22, 2019. also styled :David-Wynn: Miller or David-Wynn: Miller, was an American tool and die welder, a proponent of conspiracy theories, and leader of a far-right tax protester group within the sovereign citizen movement.[6] He was a proponent of the use of certain syntax he created to be used by people involved in legal proceedings. He referred to his syntax as QUANTUM-LANGUAGE-PARSE-SYNTAX-GRAMMAR which he asserts constitutes "correct sentence structure communication syntax."

This is a variation of the tax protester "capital letters" argument, a form of strawman theory. People seeking remedy with Miller's syntax in court have not met with success. Miller lived in Ohio before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In his Messianic origin story, he said that he died for half an hour at the age of 25 when an inept surgeon removed both his kidneys and adrenal glands. His heart restarted spontaneously while outside his body during autopsy. Following this, he said his IQ became 200, his endorphin levels were six times normal, and he stopped aging. According to his website, he appeared pro se 67 times in child custody hearings, losing every time, and was inspired to develop his own theory of language.

Among the bizarre rules of his language, sentences start with prepositional phrases, only nouns have legal meaning,[9] and a word that starts with a vowel followed by two consonants voids a contract.[11] He began styling his name as "David-Wynn: Miller", claiming that the punctuation marks are hieroglyphics that make him "life" and that without them his name is two adjectives and a pronoun.[9] He "turned Hawaii into a verb" to become "King of Hawaii". Miller has used and may have originated a scheme found in Organised Pseudolegal Commercial Arguments that cites the Universal Postal Union as the authority. The argument is that affixing a stamp to a piece of paper changes the authority under which it is governed He assumed the title "postmaster" and called his followers the adherents of the "Universal Postal System".[9] On December 21, 2012 (the failed Mayan Doomsday), he claimed to restart the "US : FEDERAL-POSTALCOURT" and made himself the judge.He also described himself as a "Plenipotentiary-Judge" of the "Unity States of the World".

Miller said that in 1988 he created what he has called "QUANTUM-MATH-COMMUNICATIONS", "PARSE-SYNTAX-GRAMMAR", or "CORRECT-LANGUAGE".

According to Miller, the language he pioneered could end the war. Miller's design involves some sentences that begin with prepositional phrases, using the word For. His sentences have many more nouns than verbs. According to Miller, only nouns have legal authority. The language also has an abundance of punctuation.

Selected Cases

Defendants have attempted to use Miller's language or ideas in courts of the United States and Canada. These attempts have been uniformly unsuccessful.

In 1998 Miller assisted Ingleside, Illinois, resident George Johnson in his legal defense against child molestation charges. Johnson was convicted and returned to prison in 1999.

In June 1998 Prescott, Arizona, resident James McCreary filed a federal lawsuit after being arrested in February for aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. In his filing, "McCreary mentions the name of his apparent mentor. David Wynn Miller of Ohio is an advocate of the restoration of Constitutional rights through 'correct' language and procedure." McCreary's actions in court got his conviction reduced by the judge to three misdemeanors, and he was sentenced to three concurrent 60-day sentences in jail.

In August 2001, Paul and Myrna Schuck unsuccessfully used Miller's language during a tax-evasion trial in Calgary, Alberta. They were later sentenced to jail after claiming postage affixed to their clothing and signed by them made them legally equivalent to royalty.

In October 2001, Andrew William Sereda, a naturopath, went to jail in Calgary, Alberta, for contempt of court when he addressed a judge in Miller's language during his tax evasion trial.

In September 2002, Miller was profiled when Milwaukee-based accountant Steven Allen Magritz was jailed after engaging in what authorities called "paper terrorism", or filing large numbers of legal claims against perceived enemies, as part of the sovereign citizen anti-government movement. The article calls Miller "the movement's linguist" and outlines his belief that people don't need to pay taxes if they can "prove that money is a verb". Magritz was convicted in 2003 on seven counts of criminal slander of title and sentenced to five years in prison.

In December 2002, Wisconsin juries convicted Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, residents Janice K. Logan and Jason Zellmer (Miller's cousin) of "simulating legal process" by filing documents that purported to be legal documents from the jurisdiction of the "Unity States of the World," a concept originated by Miller. Zellmer had been previously convicted of resisting an officer. Miller testified at the trial. The defendants were found guilty. Miller remarked that the genesis of Truth-language was when he "turned Hawaii into a verb" and showed "how a preposition is needed to certify a noun."

In 2002 and 2003, Ed Dick stood trial in Vernon, British Columbia for unlawfully failing to provide income tax returns for the taxation years 1997 and 1998. Dick succeeded in having the style of cause amended to include his name with a colon, namely, Edward: Dick. Among other tactics, he challenged the jurisdiction of the court. Dick was found guilty.

In 2005, Montclair, New Jersey, resident Brenda Rickard was arrested and charged with orchestrating a $30 million mortgage scam: "Rickard, who claimed her name is :Brenda :Rickard, is a follower of :Judge: David-Wynn: Miller, who gives seminars around the country and advocates speaking in the 'true language,' which features odd punctuation and syntax. 'I have no problem with the complaint against me as long as it’s in the truthful language,' Rickard told the judge." Her lawyer requested a psychological evaluation following Rickard's behavior in court. Rickard and co-defendant Jamila Davis were convicted of conspiracy and six counts of bank fraud in 2008.

In 2006, Hemet, California, physician Jerome Mueller was jailed for tax evasion: "Part of a loose-knit group calling themselves 'freemen' and 'patriots,' Mueller is an adherent of 'truth language.' Developed by self-professed genius David Wynn Miller, of Milwaukee, truth language is based on mathematics and purports to be the only correct way of interpreting English. A major tenet, according to interviews with Miller published on the Internet, is that maritime law is the only worldwide governing authority because the Earth is a vessel in a sea of space. The U.S. government, however, contends in everyday English that Mueller owes income taxes back to 1993."

On 7 July 2008, La Crosse, Wisconsin, dentist Frederick G. Kriemelmeyer complained about his conviction for falsifying federal income tax returns. In the United States Court of Appeals, he asserted that he had not been permitted to use Miller as his counsel during the trial. The magistrate judge had refused to allow Miller to act as counsel because Miller was not licensed as an attorney. The Court of Appeals ruled that the magistrate judge's refusal was correct, and that Kriemelmeyer's argument that he was not subject to the tax laws was frivolous.

In 2008, Wai'anae, Hawaii, resident Rita Makekau was convicted of eight counts of assault and one count of domestic abuse for injuring five children in her care with hammers and knives. In 2009, Makekau challenged her child abuse conviction by claiming her sovereignty group, Hawaiian Kingdom Government, declared her innocent. Miller said he is the group's spokesperson and is a "plenipotentiary judge, ambassador and postmaster". Makekau was ordered to prison in 2009.

In 2010, David Kevin Lindsay asked Mr Justice Frits Verhoeven of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, who was acting as a court of appeal, to quash a conviction resulting from Lindsay's failure to file income tax returns for 1996 and thereafter. Lindsay, who presented himself as David-Kevin: Lindsay, argued that he was not a "person" as defined by Canada's Income Tax Act. He said he had ceased to be a person in 1996. The judge refused to let Lindsay opt out of personhood. The judge said the sentence of a $5000 fine would remain but jail time would be reduced to 30 days from the original 150.

In October 2012, Kosciusko County, Indiana, resident Paul A. Graber was sentenced on two counts of financial institution fraud to eight years in prison. He represented himself at the trial and read from a pre-written statement that repeatedly referenced Miller as "Judge Miller". Miller was called as a witness to the trial.

In March 2015, David Lewis Turner, a resident of Mooresville, NC was convicted in Statesville, NC, of embezzlement of $394,000 and sentenced to a term of 6–8 years for a Class C felony. He represented himself at trial as a sovereign citizen. He had been the first successor trustee of the estate of his mother who had directed that each of her 3 children receive an equal 1/3 of the net assets. Rather than distribute equal shares, the defendant kept 2/3 for himself and misrepresented the actual value of the estate. His defense was that the trust was invalid since it was not written in D.W. Miller’s recommended proper syntax grammar. Turner espoused therefore as trustee he had no duties or obligations to equally distribute the estate funds. He failed to explain why the alleged invalid trust had been valid enough to identify him as the sole first successor trustee and to allow him to gain control of all trust assets. At one point he read a statement apparently written by Miller in parse-syntax-grammar and then declared himself the only true judge in the courtroom, tried to take control of the court and ordered the bailiffs to stand at attention. The North Carolina court refused to allow discussions of syntax or grammar and strictly adhered to the laws of the state. The jury took less than 10 minutes to convict.

Jared Lee Loughner

Some reports published after the 2011 Tucson shooting included references to purported similarities between the writing of convicted gunman Jared Lee Loughner and Miller's writing method. Miller has stated that although he did not know Loughner, he agreed with Loughner's video postings on government mind control and grammar, but was appalled by Loughner's actions. Miller has stated that the idea that his work could have inspired the mass shooting was "ridiculous", and "I expect he’s been on my website... He’s just repeating things I’ve had up on my site the past 11 years."

Malcolm Roberts

Malcolm Roberts is an Australian 🇦🇺 Senator for the Pauline Hanson One Nation party who was elected in the 2016 Australian election. In August 2016, a number of media outlets identified documents that had earlier been written by Malcolm Roberts that uses Miller's syntax. These documents included syntax such as "Malcolm-Ieuan: Roberts., the living soul" for himself, and "The Woman, Julia-Eileen: Gillard., acting as The Honourable JULIA EILEEN GILLARD" for the former Prime Minister of Australia Julia Gillard.

Language is a part of what upholds Maya, the illusions. It can not be objective as it is often a 5th chakra distortion of a 6th chakra visual experience. Or trying to crunch the whole experience of all chakras into the 5th chakra words/thoughts.

Even if someone was to convert language into something like math that was as objective as can be, the judges havent spent decades studying that new syntax like Millers. lol

Judges obviously have leeway to use discretion. So, they have the power to interpret how they subjectively want to some degree, regardless of what the supposed objective language supposedly means.

He wrote that his problems started after 9/11. According to Benjamin Fulford the Patriot Act is identical to the Nazi constitution. My point is David's assault probably happened because the source had clear foreknowledge of that he would do in the future.

Aha. Now we're getting to the heart of the matter. If you don't punctuate your name correctly — and especially if it's written all in capitals, as devious court officials are wont to do — you're "dead." Yes, dead. An illusion.

It's not easy to follow, but Miller makes his way, via his finding that maritime law applies worldwide because "Earth is a vessel in a sea of space," to the "universal postal union" — the U.S. Postal Service, he seems to mean. Miller makes some other detours, letting the crowd in on how MasterCard took over the U.S. economy at the stroke of midnight on Sept. 17, 1999. But soon he's getting to where he really wants to go — the World Trade Center.

When the Sept. 11 attacks occurred, the Center towers collapsed in six seconds, Miller says, not the 12 seconds it would have taken normal matter. Plus, all the concrete turned to dust. Having discovered the "mathematical interface that all steel is plastic" some years back, Miller understands perfectly what "the physics of plastic" is trying to tell him: A magnetic pulse brought down the towers.

What creates a magnetic pulse? C-4 plastic explosive. Who has C-4? The military. Who controls the military? The post office.

And there you have it. Postal authorities sneaked into the towers, replacing all chairs, tables and file cabinets with plastic furniture. Explosive plastic furniture. The steel in the building — well, that was plastic steel, and it was utterly destroyed by the C-4, which is only capable of destroying other plastic "polymers."

"That's what gave us certification that it was an inside job," Miller explains.

At the moment of collapse, $12 trillion was transferred electronically from the basement of the trade center to Singapore. "The World Trade Center was a bank robbery," Miller reveals, "very cleverly engineered."
