Default Your thoughts on Dr Steven Greer

I'd like to hear the forums thoughts on Dr Steven Greer. Is he legit or just another teller of many tales? Is he to be trusted? For me, I actually like some of his stuff, it resonates,, but I'm not a100% yet. Please elaborate if you would.

I know my own impression, per se, is not what is really being sought, but here is my 2 cents:

    Steven Greer

He is a good man, just like so many.
He has a job to do, which he is designed for, which he is doing.
We all do our jobs, satisfy our missions through a web of incredible distortion ( imperfectly )
The more people one is designated to assist, the more people who come into the awareness of you and your work - the more dramatics will weave its way into the mix.
Gratitude is the only appropriate response to all the brave souls who step themselves so far out into consensus.
The path is not a straight line, focus is sometimes pristine and sometimes less than this.
The way to assist others of us when we are veering, is to concentrate our attention down into ourselves until a pure thought has been arrived at and then send that shareable wave out to that one.

I wonder how many of us could do this - would, even, do this.

    Steven Greer

His story is like that of so many others.
Quote He claims he saw an unidentified flying object at close range when he was eighteen years old.
The pattern states they took him and programmed him with time-locked information. David Icke, David Wilcock, David Wynn Miller, Corey Goode, James Rink, Randy Cramer, James Gililland, Tony Rodrigues, Drunvalo Melchizedek, Jerry Wills, Jim Sparks, Simon Parkes, Terry Lovelace, Whitley Steiber all claim to have had experiences with nonhumans.

I do as well. - and, through incredible creativity have even devised a way to make this visible to you/others/consensus.

If we are to get this done, we do have to keep seriously upping our game.

In my case - crystals act as an extension of my consciousness

Contact experiences have shown this to me and now I show it to you.

One by one we have to begin dissolving all doubt.

I think he was on the up and up when he started out, and the Disclosure Project and CE5 certainly were worthwhile ventures.
Then his ego got in the way and fame went to his head.
He had not yet dealt sufficiently with his Shadow, and it reared back and bit him hard.
He's limping along now and has hopefully learned his lesson (I haven't been following his later work, so can't really say), but that's not an easy thing to recover from.

It is true that our process is in REAL TIME - we do not complete with our Shadow work and then fulfill our mission - the entire event is LIVE for us all.

This is one of the reasons the gratitude is so deep for those scripted to assist more of the masses <-- who tend to throw stones.

I lost track of Steven for a time, but have heard him speak recently and find him CLEAR as ever.

The knowing within himself, as he speaks is palpable.

Always sending love toward us all.

From what I can ascertain, Greer's energy has changed over the last several years, there is just something* better about him. Maybe I'm completely wrong though. Interesting to see what others think.

An impression is not right or wrong - it is an impression - what we are tuning to, honing in and picking up on from within ourself; there is always the choice to do this positively or negatively. If/when someone is striking our negative chords the first place to look is within, and again the only proper response is gratitude, to that one who has just pointed something of ourself out to us. To truly see another we first have to clear our own field -- field work indeed <-- let's get to it. !!

I would suggest that without Greer's 2001 monumental efforts, we would not be reading about Congressional hearings today.

To me, its kind of like ? & The Mysterians. They made that one great song, and deserve to be in the R&R HOF.

I personally do not have a real opinion on him

I have friends who hate him hard, Steven Cambian (from the TruthSeekers youtube show) is one of them, he seems to have a grudge against him

Personally, i believe that if the information is wrong, it still have usefulness, in the way that you can have a more extended 'observable' area you can use to have a bigger picture, and if the information is right, then you also require the 'wrong' side to be there so that you can identify points of failure on your research plus figure out where you stand and such

If everyone was correct, then you are living in an illusion and nothing is correct, because, how can you prove something is correct, if no one knows how 'incorrect' looks like?

Quote Is he to be trusted? For me, I actually like some of his stuff, it resonates,, but I'm not a100% yet
If you get 100% trusting of something, then you have stopped learning at that point, all you will know from then on about the subject is what that other person says, eventually little by little it can drag you into that position, as it all, even your own thinking, seems to start aligning to that other person's ideas or proposals

So a healthy meassure is probably 70% you, 30% other people

And then 10/20% of naivety/good ignorance that doesn't make any sense to exist so that you go into 'divergent thinking' mode and actually find new/alternative answers to old questions

There is at least one old thread on Avalon about Greer when he was more in the news, from his days with the Disclosure Project to the days when the news was quite scandalous, when those who worked closely with him were having such problems that they were quitting and giving very negative reports about him.
There have been lots of highs and lows in his career.

I agree with the general trend of the responses here. He has had his issues and he has grown over time. He's been talked about by folks who've worked with him and there have been questions about his values and ego. For someone in the public eye talking about a topic of such import, those are valid areas to question, intention is important.

I think his most recent work is his best. He has seemed to settle into a certain space of interest and is sticking to it, without deviating much into areas outside of his specialty. He also seems to have settled his apparent leadership problems and hasn't had any recent direct complaints about his motivations or communicative style.

I listen when he speaks and gauge his comments based upon my own personal understanding as well as what I've learned through study and experience. I'd say he is not one to be ignored, right now.

I don't think it is ever wise to ever conclude that any one person is "totally trustworthy - I believe everything he says" or "totally unstrustworthy, I'll never consider anything they say".

The whole notion of using other people's opinions to define individuals in a way so you can put them in one of those two categories is sketchy in itself.

That said, based around what content I have seen of his, het most likely is getting a fair bit of things right and a few things wrong. I don't really like his personality or style much, but I can still find some value in his presentations and lectures. As with everything, and as will always be, any info that is not provable, or has thin evidence for has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Also consider that, regardless of the intrinsic accuracy of any given info, sometimes you need to believe what you believe to get you to the next point in your learning (that is, if you are still using beliefs in place of considerations), and there is value there in that as well.

I'd never expect anything to be that cut and dry, nor would I want it to be. Knowing everything would be torture. Boring.
When you are one step ahead of the crowd, you are a genius.
Two steps ahead, and you are deemed a crackpot.

Thanks for the input on this thread. As far me, I still think he is consistent and I resonate with him. I do enjoy most of his work, and I kind of compare him to the likings of Linda Moulton Howe and Richard Dolan. I put him up there in the top with respect to UFOlogy etc. I do appreciate all the great responses. Thank You.

I first ran across Dr. Steven Greer in his 2001 "Disclosure Project" and followed him for a while. Later on he started working on research about free energy technology as I recall. He had other scientists working with him and was calling for donations to help him build the research company. After a while he stated that one of the cabal members called on him to come see him. When he said that I thought that he was getting too close to technology that the cabal did not want to be exposed and he was told to shut his research down. After that I did not hear anymore about his research and that was the last I heard about it. My thought I guessed was correct. After that I quit following him.

His disclosure work he started in the 90ies and which got more famous with that press conference around 2001 is something we should all be grateful for. As said before there are some highs and lows in his public 'career' from then on. I enjoy watching his disclosure movies. I have grown a bit skeptical about his CE5 activities as it reeks of money making and is not as sensational as he wants to make us believe it is. I also do not share all his opinon points about aliens but no one needs to agree with anyone 100% anyway. So generally my conclusion is still a positive one. I am grateful he does what he does and is what he is.

I do as well. - and, through incredible creativity have even devised a way to make this visible to you/others/consensus.

If we are to get this done, we do have to keep seriously upping our game.

In my case - crystals act as an extension of my consciousness

Contact experiences have shown this to me and now I show it to you.

One by one we have to begin dissolving all doubt.

psst: Hi Casey, nice that you're here now. I know you from some of the OBE forums. Hope you make a thread about your alien crystal pictures soon here on Avalon? It is an AMAZING work and I once replicated it a little with interesting results.

Hey!!!.. good to see another from OBE circles here ( do I know you? ).

No-one is really curious yet about the contact work, but I have a thread in the member website area where I post about this.

Thank you so much for finding interest in the crystal contact work. There are so few, it does my heart good to hear.

    Our blessings.
