One of the most important theme in George Orwell's "1984" (Totalitarianism) is that new generations of people born, do not know nor have access to their true (unedited) version of their history and thus not be able to learn why and how they are in an abusive (totalitarian) system that they are!

They are even pushed to hate anyone exposing that issue.

Very similar how the Chinese see themselves and how they are conditioned how to behave ... Needless to say that Western Cultures are also pushed in that direction 24/7.

Totalitarianism has always been around, the only difference now is how uncomfortably obvious it is for anyone paying attention.

Eric Blair captured the true source of political power: total control over language and history. All we have as sentient beings is our communication skills, language is the absolute 'stuff' of thought, if you control this you have everything. A human face being stamped on forever, we have been witnessing this since 2020, it has always been with us, but these past 2 years have revealed their game plan.

    Totalitarianism is the preverbal Hydra.
What is the worst about totalitarianism? All encompassing in that just because there are no traditional walls doesn’t mean it’s not a prison. Prison of physical walls, they are but an example of ‘prison’. In totalitarianism the fair question:: Is any of this free will/ choice in the pure sense of the word.
How much control does totalitarianism have in life (mine)? Shuddering to think. Once I believed all the thoughts in my head were my own, the short answer is that is or has been a lie. Think of all that programming that went in from the beginning. Later from school, books, TV, friends, family, church etc. etc.
Did I go too far with it? At the very least, that is or would be its full expression. Total control.

Is there hope for those trapped in a totalitarianism society? I’d like to think so.
Even so, look around, there is beauty everywhere. Just have to know how to see.
A vision I have of totalitarianism ideology is in that it is a human phenomenon, a speck in the galaxy. Nothing really to speak of in the course of universal history.

I used to reread that classic every 5 years. The movie with John Hurt was an excellent depiction also imo.

I saw one of "Awaken with JP" videos some time ago and remember a tee shirt he was wearing (the comedian also did an amazing job as emcee to the anti-mandate rally in DC with RKF Jr last January):

For those who like a bit of numerology, the sum of 1984 (1+9+8+4) is 22.

Also, whenever Winston appears in front of a telescreen, he is referred to as "6079 Smith W". The sum of 6079 (6+7+9) is 22.

Sorry, nothing really insightful to offer, but this quote “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” almost seems like it could have been written with the whole plandemic, "follow the science" narrative in mind.
