I stumbled on this article when looking into MountainJim's tweet thing, so thx MountainJim, I do not think this has been presented here yet, so. It will raise some eyebrows for sure. A Plan made by two guys with a website called Natuurrijk Nederland, I tell you, I find this shocking, yet not surprising, maybe Exo(matrix) can find some more info on these two guys?

So, here we go, this is a column about their plan, column is dated October 2, 2020. First in Dutch, followed by an English version ohh nd feck it, one in Russian too.

Hoe vaak krijg ik niet te horen: Wat is dan de oplossing? Ik kan me herinneren dat ik toen ik in de jaren zestig mijn eerste actiegroep had, ook altijd werd geconfronteerd met de vraag: Wat is dan je alternatief? Morrend begonnen we dan als tieners en twintigers te verzinnen hoe de wereld er uit moest zien. Vaak verzandden we in ‘het socialisme’ of ‘communisme’ hoewel ik daar als anarchist nooit veel in zag.

Wat is dan de oplossing? Tegenwoordig zijn er voor elk wereldprobleem meerdere alternatieven in omloop die in theorie een perfecte oplossing bieden. Ik zal een voorbeeld noemen dat niet één maar meteen een stuk of wat problemen in ons land oplost. Het komt van Iman Stratenus en Folef van Nispen achter de website natuurrijknederland. Een soort deltaplan voor Nederland.

Het idee is simpel. Maak de helft van Nederland natuurgebied. Koop het grootste deel van de boeren uit. Die kunnen nu alleen met subsidie overleven terwijl 75% van wat ze aan voedsel verbouwen naar het buitenland wordt geëxporteerd. Nu is Nederland voor 66% landbouwgrond, 19% is bebouwd en slechts 15% is natuur. Slechts een paar procent van de werkgelegenheid en welvaart wordt gegenereerd op twee-derde van onze grond.

De mannen hebben alles doorgerekend. De 100 miljard die het uitkopen van de boeren op 1,2 miljoen hectares kost, kan worden terugverdiend door een gedeelte van de grond te bestemmen als bouwgrond (winst een paar honderd euro per vierkante meter). Daar kunnen een miljoen goedkope duurzame huizen voor starters op worden gebouwd. Door de aanplant van bomen verdienen we emissierechten, we produceren biomassa voor schone energie, we krijgen een gezonder klimaat en er zijn overal natuurgebieden waar we makkelijk met anderhalve meter afstand van elkaar kunnen wandelen. Ook hoeft de grondwaterstand niet meer op de boeren te worden afgestemd. Kortom, meerdere gigantische problemen opgelost op een budget-neutrale manier.

Waarom dit soort ideeën die een nieuw soort werkgelegenheid scheppen, wereldproblemen oplossen door geen enkele partij worden omhelsd blijft een raadsel. Nee, Wiebes en Wopke willen groei met hun 20 miljard. En de kamer is volkomen verdeeld over wat het alternatief is.

Een minuut voor twaalf: omarm de alternatieven

How often do I not get to hear: What is the solution? I can remember that when I had my first action group in the 1960s, I was always confronted with the question: What is your alternative? We then started grumbling as teenagers and twenties to think of what the world should look like. We often got bogged down in 'socialism' or 'communism', although as an anarchist I never saw much of that.

What is the solution then? Today there are several alternatives in circulation for every world problem that in theory offer a perfect solution. I will cite an example that solves not just one, but immediately a number of problems in our country. It comes from Iman Stratenus and Folef van Nispen behind the website natuurrijknederland. A kind of delta plan for the Netherlands. The idea is simple. Make half of the Netherlands a nature reserve. Buy out most of the farmers. They can now only survive with subsidies, while 75% of what they grow in food is exported abroad.

Currently, 66% of the Netherlands is agricultural land, 19% is built-up and only 15% is nature. Only a few percent of employment and wealth is generated on two-thirds of our land.

The men have calculated everything. The 100 billion that it costs to buy out the farmers on 1.2 million hectares can be earned back by designating part of the land as building land (profit a few hundred euros per square meter). A million cheap sustainable homes for starters can be built on this. By planting trees we earn emission rights, we produce biomass for clean energy, we get a healthier climate and there are nature reserves everywhere where we can easily walk with a distance of one and a half meters from each other. The groundwater level no longer needs to be geared to the farmers. In short, several gigantic problems solved in a budget-neutral way.

Why these kinds of ideas that create a new kind of employment, solve world problems are not embraced by any party remains a mystery. No, Wiebes and Wopke want growth with their 20 billion. And the room is utterly divided on what the alternative is.

A minute to twelve: embrace the alternatives

Как часто я не слышу: Каково решение? Я помню, когда в 1960-х годах у меня была первая инициативная группа, я всегда сталкивался с вопросом: какова ваша альтернатива? Затем мы начали ворчать, будучи подростками и двадцатилетними, думая о том, как должен выглядеть мир. Мы часто увязали в «социализме» или «коммунизме», хотя как анархист я никогда этого не видел.

Каково решение тогда? Сегодня для каждой мировой проблемы существует несколько альтернатив, которые теоретически предлагают идеальное решение. Приведу пример, решающий не одну, а сразу ряд проблем в нашей стране. Это исходит от Имана Стратенуса и Фолефа ван Ниспена, стоящих за веб-сайтом natuurrijknederland. Почему такого рода идеи, которые создают новый вид занятости, решают мировые проблемы, не поддерживаются ни одной из сторон, остается загадкой. Нет, Вибес и Вопке хотят роста со своими 20 миллиардами. И мнение об альтернативе совершенно разделилось.

Dutch Dairy Farmer Faces Having To Cull 95% Of His Cows

New environmental regulations will require him to slash his livestock numbers by 95 percent. He thinks he will have to sell his family farm.

“I can’t run a farm on 5 percent. For me, it’s over and done with,” he said in a July 7 interview with The Epoch Times.

“In view of the regulations, I can’t sell it to anybody. Nobody wants to buy it. [But] the government wants to buy it. And that’s why they [have] those regulations, I think.”

Neppelenbroek made the remarks while speaking with Roman Balmakov, host of “Facts Matter” on EpochTV, during Balmakov’s recent trip to the Netherlands.

Neppelenbroek pointed out that not all farmers are required to get rid of so many of their cattle.

People living further from areas protected under Natura 2000, a European Union (EU) agreement for species and habitat preservation, can own more cattle.

That’s because the Dutch government’s regulations on nitrogen oxides and ammonia emissions are tied to sites’ proximity to those protected areas.

NOS Nieuws reported that Christianne van der Wal, the country’s minister of nature and nitrogen policy, has not ruled out expropriating land from uncooperative farmers.
