Default TCM, Turner Classic movies Channel. A national treasure.

Not sure how many of you get or follow? But TCM is the classiest channel on TV hands down in my book.
Anchored by Ben Mankiewicz, they have a diverse team of educated articulate, passionate brilliant people discussing all things film from every era.
I learn so much from these great people as they cover silent films, the history of black people in cinema, film noir, great science fiction classics and steamy fem fatale on up.

And not only the films, but they have the directors, the actors and candid discussion on all. Just amazing!
"The Thing" is up next as I write, followed by Invasion of the body snatchers, probably the most fitting of all films for what we are presently living in our brainwashed, Orwellian society

No I don't work for them lol, but this needed a shout out.
And it's all free on my TV channel.

There was an entirely different vibe to the movies back then. I’ve watched quite a few. You get a sense of that era. Hollywood was different. And I see some amazing talent especially from the women, who weren’t often given much room to create. It’s also surprising to to see some of the same themes we see today…
    Thanks for posting, TPD.

Its always fun to ask people if the saw the original Godzilla, or the Titanic etc and they say ohhh yes they were great!
Matthew Brodrick was great in Godzilla and so was Leonardo Di Caprio in Titanic!

and then you say, umm, I said the original. lol

same with music. how generations forget so fast or never knew in the first place
