Paulides is spot on to point out the function and importance of the affidavit(s) tendered in support of the search warrant, as well as the role and importance of the judge to act as a gatekeeper and protector of liberty and constitutionally recognized freedoms.Posted by Bill Ryan (here)

The Search Warrant at Mar-A-Lago
A judge must not, ever, under any circumstances, rubber stamp a request for an arrest or search warrant. A judge is duty-bound to exercise independent judgement and determine, independently of representations of the law enforcement agency involved, here the FBI, that there is a factual and legal reasonable basis, and probable cause, to support the affidavit. A warrant must be approved, if at all, only after the gatekeeper function is genuinely fulfilled. If the affidavit does not provide the requisite legal and factual basis for the warrant, the warrant must be denied.
The search warrant against Trump was politically motivated, driven by the desperate urgency of the traitorous criminals behind it, to protect their sorry asses from detection, arrest, prosecution and the consequences they will face commensurate with their crimes.
The penalty must fit the crime. But they want to avoid any penalty at all and instead project their crimes on to We The People and Trump. Hence, we see one unconstitutional, criminal act after another, while all the while they point the finger at the innocent.
Remember, when you point a finger there are three more pointing back at you.
Ps. What we need to see ASAP is the affidavit(s) in support of the warrant, not the warrant alone. And then, we must drill down on the veracity, or not, of the factual and legal basis for the warrant.
