A 10-minute update from Alexander Mercouris, really for those in the UK who might want to grit their teeth and keep up with all the horrible details.

The briefest summary is that Liz Truss is rapidly losing the support of everyone in the country (many in the Conservative party don't like her one bit, and never have), she's done a number of train-wreck interviews which have just made everything worse, the entire thing is a disaster after only a very short time in office, the government and the economy are both broken, and Truss may well not be PM by the end of the year.

Truss tax U-turn, situation worsens for Tories
So while the MSM spin doctors prepare their scripts for ushering us in the direction of Labour, will Tony Blair do another parachute drop into office instead, like he snatched it from John Smith the last time.

My guess is he'd very much like to if he could be sure the WEF resetters are still going to come out on top, but he'll let Starmer suffer the butchery if that's a shrinking likelihood.

Here, he gave the Ditchley Foundation Annual Lecture 2022, in July, sounding, to the entranced true believers, like he was the safest pair of hands on offer:

I've stolen this post by gini in the 'fighting-back' thread to put it right in front of Brits.

A very clear minded view of things.

. . this Chis Sky interview ( In Holland, during his European tour ) is very clear minded informative and inspiring.

He stays well clear of the 'conspiracy theorising' quicksand and cuts a clean path through the logical layout of the operation against us all.

As blatantly incriminating as this is, it's still only the tip of the iceberg . .

The producers of this documentary have tried to make it as similar to the propaganda biased 'documentaries' most people are used to being fascinated by on the telly, that they've left out the really shocking big picture stuff. I suppose you can only feed babies one spoonful at a time, with long pep talks in between the spoonfuls. I wish time wasn't this precious though.

It's almost completely Brit-centric, so that yawn factor about yet more bloody US politics, that a lot of people who can't see the bigger picture significance of, isn't really there. Even your tiniest minded friends and loved ones can benefit from receiving and further sharing this link.

I finally got some feedback today from sharing this link a month ago. It reminded me that our own leading edge of discovery in these matters isn't our only responsibility. If we are just a bunch internet sleuths studying the facts and breaking stories like Wall Street self serving casino players, we're not doing it right.

Even the BBC is now paying attention. Today they have a live updates page on the British economy, just as if it was an unfolding natural disaster. (It is an unfolding disaster, but an entirely man-made one)

Raising this here as a passing comment but a Twitter commentator had tried to buy a sandwich from a Tesco store in Chancery Lane (London) late last night only to be told that he couldn't enter the store without downloading the Tesco app and signing up to a Club Card. From the feed that I saw on that thread the suggestion was that this was being trialled via that store, and perhaps some others. Many responders were quite justifiably outraged at this.

I haven't come across any instances of this in my area, yet - I do wonder whether any of you may have?

In this very interesting 20-minute update, Alexander Mercouris argues with a great deal of conviction that there's a regime change plot brewing in the UK, aimed at ousting the Conservatives and bringing anti-Brexit, pro-Ukraine, Blairite, enforcer and globalist puppet (another one!!) Labour party leader Kier Starmer to power.

(Why? He's more 'reliable' and far more likely to do exactly what the Deep State wants.)

The way he'd get there is via an early general election, sometime in the coming months. If Liz Truss goes, she'd be replaced by another hapless Conservative Prime Minister who would have all the same insurmountable odds stacked against him or her.

The Bank of England is right now actively working against Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng (her Chancellor/ Finance Minister), and Kwarteng — who, significantly is out of the country right now while the plot is being hatched — is the verge of being forced to raise taxes despite having been elected on a tax-cutting platform. At that point, Mercouris states persuasively, "they're both toast".

This Mercouris interview offers a fine example of how conspiracy theory plays into the hands of the elite it is purportedly seeking to neutralize. The current government is dreadful but the opposition is a controlled opposition already deliberately being lined up to take the agenda another step forward. This approach will lead people along the path of despair until they finally give up any idea of anything positive being done or even doable. Starmer is stymied before he even gets a chance to do anything, so that were he so much as to attempt some good, people would fail to see the good in it. The elite seemingly – but not necessarily – has all bases covered, and the alternative media are powerful allies in furthering this agenda. If this plays out like last time, when the now much-lamented Corbyn was presented as unelectable, and duly unelected, we may yet see a turnaround in the opinion polls and on election day. Why this would happen is pretty obvious: the current scenario has the disadvantage of trashing once and for all a Tory party that has been such a major asset for several centuries. I say this because last time, observing from France, the (2019) election was presented one evening as a very close-run thing and the next morning as a Tory landslide. I had an explanation at the time for how that may have happened. See these posts:

One Conservative MP at the 1922 Committee meeting who was listening to Truss’ speech was reported to have said:

An interesting take from Alexander there.

Now, I do have some reservations about Al-Jazeera but they do do some very good investigative reports. One of Starmer's potential challenges would be managing this fall-out in some way courtesy of the 3 part Labour Files documentary released in September which exposes the plot to undermine Jeremy Corbyn's leadership and the toxic culture now in place under Starmer's leadership. I've started watching Part 1, but will link to all parts here for anyone interested in following through on this:

They seem to be. Kwarteng has already been sacked, and in her press conference, just finished, Liz Truss took only 4 questions — much to everyone's disbelief and dismay. NOT very smart. It seems she was entirely unconvincing.

Even the BBC is turning against her. Chris Mason, the BBC's Political editor, wrote a moment ago:
Astonishment at shortness of PM's news conference

There was astonishment among reporters that the news conference was so short - not least the prime minister’s reluctance to take many questions. Of course journalists want to ask questions. It matters for reasons of accountability. But it also matters for her in terms of credibility among her MPs and in the financial markets. Plenty of reassurance is needed and it’s not obvious that that will have done the job. One Tory MP texted me immediately afterwards:
"I voted for Liz but I think she just appointed her successor. Awful. Sadly think that hastened her demise."

We are now in the UK a global laughing stock, who don’t seem to be able to organise a p*** up in a brewery. For god’s sake, this must be deliberate, who benefits?
Daren't even switch heating on now, almost all electrics (apart from fridge and freezer) switched off. Went to fill up diesel in case of more chaos and the price is exorbitant. Doomed to sit in thick clothing in one room where sun warms it. My folks managed better in the war, they grew their own food, shared, and lived healthily, now folk who can’t/don’t cook are being offered loans for takeaways. Beggars belief!!!

Here's Alexander Mercouris to analyze the debacle in a 17-minute video. He states that a group of senior MPs will be seeing Liz Truss probably on Monday, telling her to step down. If she won't, then they'll change the necessary rules and call a vote of No Confidence (as was done with Boris Johnson, which is what forced him to resign).

That means that the new PM, apparently already selected, would be Rishi Sunak, billionaire globalist. (Yes, another one.)
