Doug, you’re an exemplary example of a healthy person with a firm grip on sanity in a most extraordinarily insane world and now I’m going to say something very strange, but true.

We all lost grip of the world in early 2019, it was taken from us, I felt it as it happened. The world is no longer our creation but that of a foreign dreamer, so to speak. Now I’m gong to come off as bossy but hand on heart I know this is what we must do - let it go.

Continue to be authentic. Stay human. Stay here on Earth. Live your life to the fullest you can muster despite the dying world and in so doing you are birthing a world that is better than anything any one of us could imagine.

    Godspeed all.
Never give up on your silly, silly dreams.

You mustn't be afraid to dream a little BIGGER, darling.

We are all under attack in so many ways and at so many different levels. This is a coordinated attack and who knows where it is coming from. All the people you see on the stage of world power are highly manipulated, and it isn't easy to get to the bottom of whom they are through the media. I try not to attach too much energy into loving or hating politicians and thinking they are going to seal my fate.

OK, just one I just read , DOJ raids 35-50 Trump supporters homes. IS THIS TRUE ?
I haven't heard this but if you have more info, many of us would like to look into this story. Just know that one way these attacks comes to us is through fake news. I might be something that really happened, or didn't happened, and this news is made up just to pollute our search for truth and to divide us. All these stories are there to prey on your hopes and fears.

From my circle of acquaintances, some of the people I know who are usually pillars of stability are sometimes fragile and depressed, but at the same time, some of those I know who are frequently anxious, depressed, disorganized, delusional, mildly schizophrenic, are at their best right now. Somethings strange is going on, but I think there is a silver lining in that dark cloud.

    true enough

luckily, people of like mind as ourselves?

    are saying ENOUGH

we are free to make choices

    that includes FBI

we are NOT, however, FREE of the consequences of the choices we make

Thank you for voicing your feelings Doug and all who have shared. It’s nice to feel you aren’t alone.

It’s a strange feeling, trying to stay centered and go about your normal life in a world that feels far from normal. The future that we may have worked towards seems to be pulled out from under us and makes everything we do seem pointless sometimes. There is that question, why am I doing this or that and what does it mean, will it have a place in the future?

We may worry about our loved ones and innocent ones we hold dear and require our support. How do we decide what actions to take that affect others too?

The only place to look for stability is within, what do you stand for, what is important to you above all else? How do you “be” that, no matter what form the world seems to take? To me it is important to envisage the world we want, and feel it. Everyone will have their own personal journey. Maybe this is a point in time where we are meant to really feel that.

It can be discouraging looking out onto the world that seems unfixable, complex, and insane sometimes. Decisions being made, on our so called behalf, are nothing we would ever agree with or even imagine being put forward as options. I am trusting my intuition and trying not to look too far into the future and praying that in each moment I will know what to do.

I hear you Doug, I know that sounds superficial and so forth, but I hear you! The collective population of this forum represents a tangent to the NORM, we are among the more curious, insightful and sensitive of human souls - sorry if this comes off as being self congratulatory, but I feel this is accurate. Everyone across this planet is feeling the shift, everyone has experienced an explosion of all previous standards of decency and conduct; our 'authorities' have turned hostile on us, we are being assaulted by a pernicious intent, this much is very clear.
The advice from the wisest amongst us ask us to focus on our families and immediate people, nurture good relations and good will, avoid hostile arguments and grand gestures of defiance - we win our point through kindness and example, this being said: We must resist this evil ideology which has flourished recently, WEF and their great reset nonsense, the climate alarmists and their anti-scientific propaganda, bureaucratic overreach of every kind.
I sense we are all in for a VERY large surprise in the coming decade, perhaps a GRAND RESET of titanic proportions if the genuine science is correct, the Earth shall wind up tilting 90 degrees, Greenland will be at the equator, enormous tsunamis and geological upheavals of all kinds: 2030-50.
I do not know if this is correct, but very smart people tell me it is likely, probable - so don't get too invested in the politics and social conflicts, it might all be washed away soon, and the new era of humanity commences.
I like to keep things simple, so I suggest we try and calm ourselves down, and appreciate what we have already, try and love one another and comfort each other - enjoy dinner, glasses of wine and cups of coffee, watching babies grow and holding BBQ's, enjoy the small things while they are still here.

After 2-3 years of trying to absorb such radical changes in logic, common sense, rule of law, social awareness and cooperation among friends and strangers alike, I along with others I speak to are starting to lose it to varying degrees.

It's not easy living a double life... connecting the dots, seeing what's happening and being aware of the deliberate controlled collapse of civilization as we know it... BUT... also living a regular day to day life surrounded by family, neighbours, friends etc who more or less appear to have no idea what's going on...

Doing our best every day is the best we can do but it's no wonder you/we/many people don't feel right -

    Doug,

It does feel as though everything is being simultaneously imploded. One would be considered crazy to not have the reaction that you have.

One coping mechanism that I have used is to think back to times in my life when I was under great stress or trauma and then to recall the days, weeks, months that followed and how ultimately that event became a memory rather than a ruler of my reality. I’m not suggesting that the horrific events of present are going to cease to exist (although I would argue that if the collective (mankind) wanted them to, they would), remembering that “this too shall pass” might help with daily life.

And remember that you chose to be here at this time. You are here for a reason. And we’re all very lucky that you are here!

No, Isserley. This experiment only shows the stupidity of even Ibn Sina. It is the other way around. It is because we know that if we were caged in the presence of our executioner we would be more anxious than if we weren’t, that we can safely assume that something similar will happen to a sheep in the presence of a wolf. This is the eternal pretentiousness of so-called "Science” (the real name of which is ”Fauci”) that duplicates human intuition and good old common sense in the animal world and then adduces the results as proof for intuition and common sense. The latter does not need to be verified by an animal experiment, and the animal experiment does not need to be carried out in order to know that sheep are like humans. All that was already clear to Adam, when God gave to him the power and the talent to name the animals.

These so-called “scientific” parallels are part of the problem. The end of such reasoning is reviving an extinct virus, enhancing it “with the aim of” brewing an antidote against it and without having found the antidote release the enhanced version. "Playing Nature’s (or God’s) game” it is called.

The truth is, things are coming so fast, norms are being shattered constantly that the effect is mind numbing. Puberty blockers? Kids being destroyed? Military being disseminated , And it's all ok?
We have been taught to think in the moment which is fine but occasionally we must let go of the immediate and think in 100-year and 1000-year increments. This is the great levelling, it allows us to understand the bizarre, tragic and incomprehensible events that happen over time. it can immediately restore sanity, common sense and a soothing understanding of what seems abnormal behavior of man.

Of course, there are always those fatalists that believe mankind is doomed by their fate and the end is nigh, this simply is not so.

Maybe part of it is that we (northern hemisphere anyway) are seeing the end of summer, the nights are drawing in & it just adds to the sense of foreboding.

The nagging worry that we are going to see another virus, more lockdowns, more emergency powers, more jabs & more people having "sudden death" and everything else....

None of us have ever seen such idiots & traitors in power, even the new King is not right, not that he'll last long anyway.

Things seem to be falling apart or wilting.

But then most of us know that's why we are here.

    For one reason or another.

Someone has got to stand as witness to all this before God.

Faith is going to be tested like never before, don't lose hope now.

Hi Doug, you are not alone, just know that.

Weeks ago I had another deep talk with relatives and as usual they did their best to mock me up!! I see them today as a mere reflex of the MSM, completely brainwashed folks and above it all very proud of that. I was hoping some of them changed their minds after all the fraud exposed, but nope, I was dead wrong.

Should I feel bad or lose my grip because of that? The answer is absolutely NO. I am living as simple as possible day by day and that is it!

Physical life is short my friend, we all soon will leave the carcass behind and ascend.

In an holistic level we may find our peace in the infinity wilderness of this cosmos.

    Have a great week.

It is those who do not have any sense of losing their grip, who have already lost it. They are out of touch with reality. Contrariwise, it is those who sense their grip is slipping, who still have a grasp of reality. It is they who will, on average, fare well over time on Earth and in the Hereafter.

I too am struggling with purpose in all my creative offerings.

Anyone else know of or hearing this?
Being an artist and book writer myself I can attest to that. I've lost the (creative / productive) impetus for it right now. Just stopped.
Still concentrating on some other 'projects' (job related) but that is lacking in the same motivation I had for the arts and therefore only progresses in small steps. Sometimes 1 ahead and 2 steps back though, lol. Also a private matter (my 2 elderly parents in home health care) drains my enery a lot right now. Still trying to pull through, stay positive and manifest good things again. But it is not easy.

I try to keep a sense of proportion.
We are infestimal specks on a tiny planet circling a Sun of very modest size in a galaxy which is merely one in an immeasurable number of galaxies within the Multiverse.
It may not be a reassuring thought, and we don't have to beat ourselves over the head with it, but we are wise not to forget it.
But if I do, I have only to tune into the following source:
(Note: I recommend watching the whole video, but especially starting at 4 minutes, 25 seconds.)
The point being that we are not disconnected from all that surrounds us, though our fragile egos would have us believe we are.
So it's only natural that we should be affected (and more than we realize) by the enormous changes which are happening all around us, not only in the human sphere, but in the physical world.

    Each breath a gift...

Sounds like information overload. It's not so much the subjects themselves as it is the internet in and of itself as a constant in your life. Solution: unplug, begin to limit your net use, spend more time outdoors. Spend too much time on the net and you become a product of the things you consume rather than things you create yourself. How many times do you click on a thread and all you get is dozens of posted videos with no context or explanation. How many years has that been going on and what are the consequences on a persons attention span and their ability to differentiate the useful from the junk?
