Alligators in Texas are becoming aggressive and biting boats. A man has been rowing in the area for 20 years and has never seen an attack by an alligator. Maybe the stress from our species and the degradation of the environment is switching their behavior.

One alligator has been trapped and wardens remain vigilant at a waterway in Sugar Land, Texas after animals bit two boats in recent weeks – for the first time ever, residents say.

Everything started when an elderly rower accidentally hit a gator with an oar, says Dee Connors, president of the Greater Houston Rowing Club.

“On the second day, the alligator chomped the end of his boat and his boat started sinking, but he made it to shore,” Ms Connors told KHOU.

But that wasn’t the only attack; another followed last week, she said.

“Another one of the rowers was just rowing out behind me and another one of the alligators chomped the end of his boat, he didn’t get it as hard as the first one so he was able to row it to shore,” Connors told the station.

The incidents keep happening along Oyster Creek, which is bordered by homes along many stretches.

“I’ve been rowing over 20 years in this body of water and we’ve never had an alligator attack,” Ms Connors told KHOU.

In the vid below Jeremy Wade investigates the change in Australian river animal behaviours, they are becoming more aggressive.
He finds it is because of the invasion of Crane Toads.
Crane Toads are poisonous to most creatures, even the crocks and allegators.
The toads are killing off the natural food chain, so leaving those still living to be more aggressive in their search for diminishing food.

Could something like this be happening, the rivers food chain, nature is out of balance?

If that is the case what has caused the loss of food or imbalance?

i have had thoughts along those lines..with the weakened field, cosmic rays are stronger, so effects of the actual stars become stronger

A 77-year-old man was killed by a kangaroo in Australia who he may have kept as a pet. The males don't do well in captivity.

A man who may have been keeping a wild kangaroo as a pet was killed by the animal in southwest Australia, police said Tuesday. It was reportedly the first fatal attack by a kangaroo in Australia since 1936.

A relative found the 77-year-old man with "serious injuries" on his property Sunday in semirural Redmond, 400 kilometers (250 miles) southeast of the Western Australia state capital Perth.

It was believed he had been attacked earlier in the day by the kangaroo, which police shot dead because it was preventing paramedics from reaching the injured man, police said.

firstly they are "Cane" toads, not crane.
Secondly we (Australia) dont have Gators.
I havnt actually checked for awhile but i believe that our Crocks are fine and are in great numbers across the top end. We get around two crock attacks on humans each yr, and dogs and cattle are always a target for a hungry crock.
