Default Ron DeSantis: Torturer, War Criminal, Abuser of the U.S. Constitution

Warning: This video has some truly disturbing stories from the Guantanomo Bay Detention Camp, where much "enhanced interrogation" (more commonly known as "torture") was performed. What is even more disturbing is that a front runner in the 2024 U.S. Presidential race is involved. Video is 37 minutes long. Summarized here:

    • Ron DeSantis went to Yale and was in the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, making him a fraternity brother of George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Sidney Souers, first Director of the CIA.

    • After graduation Harvard Law School, he joined the Navy and was assigned to the Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) and was eventually transferred to Guantanamo Bay where he spent 10 months.

    • Records documenting his time in Guantanamo are heavily redacted, so it is impossible to figure out what he did from there. Per some of his associates who were interviewed, DeSantis's job was to be an "Advocate for the fair and humane treatment of the detainees to insure the US military comply with the law" and was "charged with ensuring the detainees received rights afforded to them under the Common Article 3 of the Geneva Convention."

    • This testimony here come from one person, Mansur al-Dayfi. Al-Dayfi was detained at Guantanamo for 14 years without charge and was never brought to trial. He has been extensively interviewed and a PBS Frontline episode was done about him and he has proven to be a reliable witness about what happened in Guantanamo.

    • Per al-Dayfi, DeSantis introduced himself as someone who was there to advocate for his rights. Al-Dayfi originally thought DeSantis was sincere and would do that, but later he said that the year DeSantis was there was in fact the most horrific year as far as the "enhanced interrogation" was concerned.

    • During this time, many of the prisoners went on a hunger strike. A week into the strike, a military officer told them they they were going to eat, whether they wanted to or not. They were all force-fed huge Ensure. They were force fed many time more of this disgusting substance than was need to keep them healthy. The force feeding, infact, became another horrific form of torture. So much Ensure was forced into them it caused them to vomit violently.

    • In one instance, al-Dayfi was in the presence of DeSantis and vomited violently onto DeSantis. Not sure if this was intentional on al-Dayfi's part (I would not blame him) but both knew that doing so would cause considerable further punishment for al-Dayfi. Covered with vomit, DeSantis was smiling and laughing about the incident.

    • During DeSantis's time of oversight at Guantanamo, there were two prisoners who died. Before their bodies were returned to their home countries dismembered in such a way that it would be impossible to determine if their deaths were caused by torture.

    • Having demonstrated just how ethically compromised he was, DeSantis was sent to Fallujah with the Special Operations Command Force and was the sole oversight person for this. This was in 2007, the height of US troop surge, the height of US casualtiese, the height of the most horrific human rights allegations. There are not that many details yet on what DeSantis did during this time and the documents would all be redacted, but we there will probably be more some whistleblowers and details forthcoming if DeSantis runs for president.

    • There is more to this story, however, I am unable to go back and listen to it again, it is deeply disturbing, but if you listen to it and I missed something or got it wrong, please add or correct here.

It is a lot easier to understand how DeSantis has gone so far politically at such a young age. He has done a lot of "good work" to impress the powers that be. Many politicians have proven themselves to be dedicated war criminals when they assumed positions of power in the White House, State Department, CIA, etc. but DeSantis seems to have proven himself quite capable of this just out of college. He actually sat there face to face with a torture victim and laughed at him. If DeSantis is elected and sworn in on January 20th 2025 and promises to "uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution", I think then I will understand what it feels like to have your body filled with Ensure and vomit violently.

This video, Katie Halper interviewing Mike Prysner is a little more concise (12 minutes) than the one above and not quite as graphic, except the details about the force feeding: it basically seems like waterboarding except that Ensure was used instead of water.

“I was screaming and he was smiling”: DeSantis ran Guantanamo torture

A recent episode of the Eyes Left Podcast reels in a first-person perspective testimony from a Yemeni ex-Guantanamo Bay detainee who was tortured at the hands of popular Republican governor, Ron DeSantis.

The podcast was hosted by Mike Prysner, who is a U.S. veteran that served in Iraq as a Specialist; his duties I ncluded ground surveillance and prisoner interrogation.

Prysner described DeSantis’ actions as “TV worthy”—but not in the fictionalized sense, but rather running under the “true crime” genre. Washington kept details about DeSantis’ role in Guantanamo Bay under wraps: Addressing inquisitions about what DeSantis’ role was, one Navy spokesperson responded:

Quote Unfortunately, the specific details about Mr. DeSantis role are not available.

What the podcast reveals is that DeSantis served as a JAG officer, which essentially means that he was a Judge Advocate General Corps. He was a law student, previously completing his undergraduate studies at Yale, where he was part of the Delta Cappa Epsilon like the two ‘Bushes’—George HW Bush and his son, George Bush. Pro-Confederacy and blatantly racist, his political career with the Pentagon began immediately in his second year of law school.

However, his job was never reduced to courtrooms, but rather to conduct rogue, clandestine operations—his official job, a guise, was to “ensure the human rights of detainees.”

    It was quite the opposite.

The height of inhumane treatment and systemic torture in the camp was during DeSantis’ term serving as a JAG officer, whose main task was to identify the weaknesses of the detainees and to “tighten the screws” on them—and, in addition, to keep a clean record. He made sure that human rights were violated to the worst degree, according to the podcast.

A story of sadism & manipulation

In this podcast, Prysner interviews Mansoor Adayfi, who was deceived by DeSantis first-hand as the incumbent governor not only ordered his torture, but also sat, watched, and laughed.

Adayfi is of Yemeni origin and was on a cultural mission to Afghanistan in the early days of the war. He was kidnapped by traitors and sold to the U.S., who relocated him to the notoriously infamous Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

As he endured torture during his imprisonment, Adayfi narrated that DeSantis walked in, and depicted himself as the good Samaritan who wanted to relay the prisoners’ concerns to the administration. His persuasion would get the prisoners “comfortable” enough to talk, manipulating them.

For context, the host explained that during the time there was a mass protest of around 500 detainees who were on a hunger strike and that it was professed as a “major problem” for the Bush administration. So, “they brought in a collection of new ruthless individuals to break the strike.”

Adayfi narrates, “We went on a hunger strike in 2005 and there was like 500 prisoners participating in the hunger strike,” after which DeSantis walked into the room, clarifying his intention to negotiate with the prisoners. “We believed them, that they would negotiate and talk to us… But it was a trap,” said Adayfi.

Adayfi, who was 18 when he was detained, to his innocence thought that DeSantis would “raise his concerns. But it was a piece of the game what they were doing. They were looking for what hurt you more to use it against you.”

After DeSantis gathered intelligence on the detainees’ weaknesses, an army general walked in, ready to exploit them: “I have a job. I was sent here to break your f****** hunger strike. I do not care why you are here, I don’t care who you are. My job, sir, here is to make you eat. Today we are talking, tomorrow there will be no talking.” The prisoners were shaken to experience what was coming for them, and were shocked at DeSantis’ deception.

The detainees were force-fed cans of Ensure, a liquid nutrition supplement usually taken by the elderly. DeSantis watched as detainees were strapped to the chair, force-fed can after can of Ensure through their noses.

“Ron DeSantis was there watching us. We were crying, screaming. We were tied to the feeding chair. And that guy was watching that. He was laughing,” Adayfi lamented, saying that their bodies could not take the amounts of Ensure they were being forced and that he threw up on DeSantis’ face.

“I threw up on his face. Literally. On his face,” he said.

Common Article Three of the Geneva Convention stipulates that force-feeding is an act of torture, and it is prohibited by the World Medical Association in a 1975 declaration.

“They put laxative in our feeding liquid”

Under DeSantis’ supervision, prison administrators “tied our heads, our shoulder, our rest, our thighs and our legs,” putting “some kind laxative in the feeding liquid so we s*** ourselves all the time,” after which they were locked up into solitary confinement.

“They broke all of the hunger strikes in one week,” Adayfi said. “It was a machine. And he was there. All of them were watching—the colonel, officers, doctors, nurses—and not just that, they used to also beat us.

“And if we scream in pain, [with the] bleeding [that] came out of our nose and mouth… They were like eat. The only word they told you eat. Eat, eat, eat. You know, we were beaten all day long. All day. There’s a team. Whatever you are doing, they just beat you. Pepper spray, beating, beating, sleep deprivation, that continued for three months.

“When I was screaming, I look at him [Ron DeSantis] and he was actually smiling. Like someone who enjoyed it,” Adayfi said.

    Quote It shocked us all.
    DeSantis’ position was not routine

Another weakness that DeSantis took advantage of was Adayfi’s complaints of sleep deprivation, and the noise he was hearing in the night. In response, DeSantis ramped up intentional noise to continue torturing the prisoners.

To Adayfi and his comrades’ misfortune, speaking to DeSantis about the meat in prison food only prompted the prison guards to mix all the food with meat, knowing that the detainees are largely Muslim and do not consume non-Halal products.

Quote Ron’s position was not some routine one. He didn’t just rotate in and take over for some other low-level officer. Until then, no JAG officer had been assigned to such a position. He was brought in during a crisis.
A poll released last week revealed that DeSantis is a favorite candidate among the Republican party—even more than Trump. The YouGov survey found that 42% of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents and Republican-leaning independents said they would prefer DeSantis over Trump to run in 2024. Only 35% said they would prefer Trump over the Florida governor.

When PBS makes a full frontal attack on DeSantis it becomes a badge of honor, we know that PBS is part of the great reset. In addition to being exceptionally anti-Trump and abnormally pro-Biden, they have supported defunding the police, open borders, BLM, socialism, progressive district attornies, and much more.

I question almost everything that PBS has aired. They have produced and aired extensively " The American Insurrection" making outrageous statements about Jan 6th that are easily proven to be wrong, I would go as far as saying that they were intentional lies. They have produced so many documentaries on Michael Flynn and President Trump that were so heavily slanted to the progressive left that you could easily call them activist films. Much of the information that they aired about Trump and the Russian Collusion has proven to be inaccurate, untrue, and absolutely false. For example Trumps American Carnage and Trumps Showdown. Their latest documentaries are Putins attack on Ukraine and Putin's war at home. Given the fact that there is only one witness and the network is PBS, it makes the material highly questionable.

In my opinion, PBS is nothing more than a branch of the one-world government crowd headed by the progressive party in the USA. Forming an opinion, when the source is PBS about DeSantis or any other political figure or topic is extremely dangerous.

The PBS video I referenced was not a full frontal attack on DeSantis. In fact, I am pretty damn sure, DeSantis was not even mentioned in the video because it was released in 2017, before DeSantis was governor and was just another of the 438 congress critters on Capitol Hill. I just referenced it because it places where Al-Dayfi sits within the mainstream media. I don't think I've seen this particular video, but have heard other interviews with Al-Dayfi and he seems like an extraordinary person.

The testimony of what DeSantis did in Guantanamo, was not given on PBS, but to journalist Mike Prysner and Katie Halper in the videos posted above. If you are handing out badges of honor to people they have exposed, please have a lot of on hand to give to Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Barack Obama and the entire war mongering cast of the Bush Administration.

This is disturbing to see for multiple reasons. The one presented, and (if not true), the one falsely being presented.

so who do we have left folks? what bright young star is on deck and up next to be offered and then dismantled? Who is beyond all this?
Oh wait, thats right, Mother Theresa was also a con artistl

I like DeSantis and Trump , Tulsi and a few others, and I dont care what garbage come out on them. Its got to be better than the rancid garbage we presently have .

DeSantis is most likely leveraged and probably by his own secret deviant behaviors much like the rest that are out in the show. He will play ball so to speak whereas, Trump would not. Unfortunately the hard facts behind the actions like open borders are not likely what people ever thought it was. If DeSantis does what they tell him, and I have reason he will, the border will remain open and it's the only cure as far as the Federal Reserve is concerned.

We live in a usuary money system that must create new money constantly or the entire thing we know as a culture dies after it first stagnates. When Rome was in our spot wanting to spend more than they had it came to a point where the elite and the military and the people were tapped out for credit! Rome was collapsing and what did they do to prevent it? They freed the slaves.

Suddenly those slaves and dirty people often from other cultures were more important in the empire to the banksters than the law abiding native populace or the elite or the military. This saved the empire for a time until the slaves too were indebted up to their ears and the entire thing finally crumbled.

What our dear FED has learned from this is that we were in the same boat here in the USA as Rome when it was collapsing. Even now credit card debt is out of control across the country causing much credit problems. We didn't have slaves to free so what did they do to prevent it? They opened the borders and now those illegals with no credit history are seen as clean slates by the FED to loan new money to and best of all when those ruin their credit there is an endless supply of clean slates coming in behind to loan new money to coming across the river everyday. As Americans tap out these new members of the popoulace very important to the system and the FED especially, move in until they too follow the same path and it repeats. This is where we are folks! Its the banks and the FED behind the border part of it all and especially those open borders that will not be shut down at any cost as far as the FED is concerned.

If they close the border we end up in the same boat, a sinking boat as Rome did and the FED dries up unable to print any money because no one can even qualify for a credit card. One of the biggest reason the FED will go digital currency is to be able to easily disperse their usuary money and cocnceal the nasty goings on of laundering by the elite. Your credit is more important than you realized to a healthy nation and good credit is holding up the country right now with only about 10% of the nation's law abiding tax paying registered citizens with a good credit score, and in the end it will be what changes all lives here. Not that it has not already done this. That is the reason all those that once spoke against open borders all changed their tunes! They were told too and as usual they do as they are told for any political or diplomatic or monetary favors for life to those holding all the dirt over them. Was DeSantis ever on Epstein's island? I wouldn't be at all surprised and also on several shots of his wife up close I thought I saw the marks of a, "Adam's apple removal surg". I'm not saying it is true. It just looked odd in that light and stood out to me as a very faint scar.
The genius consistently stands out from the masses in that he unconsciously anticipates truths of which the population as a whole only later becomes conscious! Speech-circa 1937

    .

As the testimony comes from someone who could benefit from making allegations like this....

in the OP... This testimony here come from one person, Mansur al-Dayfi.

shouldn't the thread title contain the word alleged or something to show that these are unproven allegations?

Not really sure how Mansur Al-Dayfi would benefit by this. And he isn't the only one to come forth with the charge, there is also a lengthy interview with Sgt. S. Morris in the first video.

Of course, this story is just coming to light now and there may be more people coming forward, and the DeSantis people may address this, or they might not, which, in my opinion is evidence of war criminal guilt.

Any idea expressed in a thread can be challenged, so I don't see the need for the "alleged" word in the title. I don't think there is a precedent for that here on Avalon.

I don't think there is a precedent for that here on Avalon.

re bolded above - that's why I'm suspicious about the whole thing - it's all just a little too well timed - just when the Democrats and Globalists will want to destroy DeSantis as an up and coming possible contender for the Presidency - - someone who could stand up against the 'woke' madness that we're all being gas lighted with is bound to get 'the treatment'..... ???

I have had a terrible couple of weeks in my mind. Everywhere I look, I see people whose focus is on what I feel is important tear one another apart. People seem to love MOST destroying one another for their stated intention of telling truth. I am thinking at the moment of people tearing down Candace Owen because she is married to a British citizen whose father has an honorary title and the claims he is a Rothchild.
I am sad and alarmed that people cannot focus on the real threats. I do not see any help in the back and forth vilifying between Robert Malone and Stew Peters (and Robert Malone's diss of the film "Died Suddenly" where he talks about Stew Peters in a very scathing way). There is the tear down of Alex Jones. There is the tear down of Simone Gold. There is the way that people are tearing into Graham Hancock's ideas calling him a shill.

It is as if some horrendously devious and powerful insinuating force wants me to just HATE everyone whom I consider to be on the side of humanity. There are other examples. Are we at the place where the shocked rats in the cage (we rats in this collective cage) start killing one another?

My own personal concerns for a long time have been about the vaccine issue, the issue of poisoning of the environment and the freedom to choose how to live (while protecting children and GOOD). I really really like how DeSantis led Florida through the last years. He has actually DONE something to help the people in the state. He has chosen good leaders around him. I would personally like to trust that his intentions are for good. The same "tear down" process wants me to hate him.

I almost feel like I am being drenched in mind poison so I will have NO faith in any possible good for the future.

Hopefully there will be some credible info forthcoming about the real De Santis.
Exposures of those in power are usually a big mix of lies and truth at least at first, and it takes some time to sift through it all to come to dependable conclusions.
In the case of politicians, it just seems to be an unavoidable process.

No matter how much we read or watch, we are still taking in opinions and interpretations, motivated by vastly different intents, inevitably. I try internally to hold a space without judgement since the truth is unknowable in many cases. Giving "benefit of the doubt" is probably another way it has been said over time. My frequent mantra is "may Truth prevail on earth ". Thank god I don't have to decide what that is right now.

I try to form a mental paradigm in which we never have to put a foot down in the intellectual mine field because we are floating over it on an energetic balloon ride that will get us to the other side without any bangs and booms.

When we get through this, we can assign the tip-toeing cheaters and wizards who planted the mines, to go and clear them.
