    You get songwriter and you get SONGWRITERS




    Known for his airborne melodies and sumptuous orchestral arrangements, Bacharach was one of the most important songwriters of the 20th Century.

    Over his career, he scored 73 Top 40 hits in the US and 52 in the UK, working with artists including Dionne Warwick, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Barbara Streisand, Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin and Elvis Costello. From BBC.

    ONE OF THE TRUE GREATS!!! Had a great talent for melody and arrangement. Too many songs to even mention.

    I'll never get sick of this one. I once read an account of the original recording, where the professional session musicians couldn't figure out how to play the song.
