Im glad you called out this EBook Fire and Fury, perhaps it should be re title , " Lying, and poorly".
Im not going to even look at it, just knowing the opportunistic date. This is literary " ambulance chasing" at its finest. The big rush for the big buck, notoriety and fame along with being an influencer has so many in its grip.
Its a race to the bottom

The entire air around this tragedy has so little care and concern for the people, the children, the families, the lives , the heritage of the Hawaiians destroyed in such a horrible way.

The idea that towns people are not being permitted in the area because they will carry the dust and remains of loved ones around on their cloths reaches an all time low in my book. Can anyone believe this police chiefs spiel as if he is speaking from some high spiritual authority caring about sacred ground? ? What a crude and crass human, tied to the doubtful Vegas shooting.

I am dizzy of recent. Dizzy like a seal pup clubbed over the head with the garbage this species man is dishing up on a daily basis that before I can comprehend one thing, another has begun.
Perhaps this is part of the design? Nordstream pipeline ,Ohio chemical derailment, Fetterman, Ukraine, well, I already cannot remember an adequate list or recent events that have had me appalled.

Interesting aside, has anyone reflected on the great fires which our official historical record says wiped out countless cities in America during the late 1800's/early 1900's like the 1871 fire of Chicago or the 1906 fire of San Francisco, seems nearly all cities great and small burned back then, that took with them so many great structures of the Old World which may not have been so old or long ago afterall? Just got the strange intuition that this is all connected somehow... Hmmm... Anyway, just thought I'd throw it out there.

Thanks Bill, got the link now. One reviewer suggests that the material was scraped from social media; and another it was written by ChapGPT. I'd be little surprised if both are true. Whatever the the case, it's extremely poor taste in my view to publish this 'book' so soon after the event. My favourite comment:
