Shortly there after I saw French president Macron win by 66.6% an election he was supposed to lose and the synchronicity was not lost on me.] but I don't perceive 66.6% as being anything sinister. In this case, it simply equates to a two-thirds majority. That's a very common proportion for dividing up a whole.
