This is Trump talking (video below) about Canada - I'm speaking (for now) not supporting either argument for or against Canada becoming the 51st State...just observing the situation - but - something I heard in post 2 of this thread here has expanded my thoughts about the 51st State question -

Mel K is interviewing Ron Paul and at some point she makes a comment about how American People are still in the process of Founding the American Nation - that the country is only 250 years old and it wasn't just the Founding Fathers who were part of the process - they began it but it's still going on (my words trying to encapsulate what Mel K said...)


Are we seeing another stage of the Founding of America - and is Trump thinking right outside the box and like a Revolutionary.... a revolutionary still forming the borders of a new and free nation - free from European influences and the historic elite who control these much older countries -

I'm not going to go looking for links about it but from memory when I was looking at video about the creation of America I was a bit shocked that the history might have been very different if Napoleon hadn't sold France's 'rights' (?) to vast areas of land in what is now America - to finance his wars in Europe -

The more I hear Trump talking about annexing Canada, the more I loathe him. The lies he comes up with to justify this! In fact, the US is NOT subsidizing Canada in any way shape or form. They get a very good deal with buying Canada's oil at cheap prices. They get significant hydro power from Canada. Etc. As for US military protecting Canada, NONSENSE! Canada has never been under military threat from Russia or China. In fact, Russia and China do not threaten any countries, even those located outside the US sphere of influence, instead they establish trade or economic ties with them. Only the US-Isreal axis is obsessed with instigating military aggression.

Fact is, Canada's only military threat comes from the US.

Anybody else noticed that Trump tries to stick other countries for the costs of wars that the US instigated. For example, Trump claims Ukraine owes $500 billions to US and that the EU now has the responsibility to look after Ukraine. Also, Trump's claims of ownership of Gaza, but surrounding arab countries are to pay for the costs of Gaza's reconstruction, and they must also take on the relocation of Palestinians. This isn't 'art of the deal', it's fraud and exploitation.

Of course, the motivation behind Trump's brazen lies is the $37 trillions US debt, incurred by fighting wars for Israel's benefit, that have destroyed millions of lives. A debt that's about to sink US.

Canada does not want to be stuck with that bloody debt. Nor do we want to be stuck with their 11 millions illegal migrants of combat age men, because US politics were too corrupted to be able to stop Biden's open border policy.

There are so many things about this video that are great. Here are just a few things I find awe-inspiring.

1. Karoline Leavitt reveals just how good Trump is at selecting people for particular jobs. She is a smart hard-driving no-nsense bulldog, perfect for the job.
2. Changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America was brilliant. This is an extreme power flex and points out how ridiculous the cancel culture has become. (shades of Land of Lakes Butter or Aunt Jemima Syrup)
3. Reminding the AP that they supported cancel culture and now they are not playing by the rules that they established is priceless.
4. Reminding the media that they are not that important and that White House correspondents serve at the pleasure of the president is excellent.
5. Removing the AP from the White House reporter pool, (one of the largest wire services in the world) diminishes their ability to report the news and lessens the MSM's overall importance.
