Lightbulb Vivaldi browser - a new concept to organize

As I am very technical inclined and like to explore new better ways, I pondered a bit since some time, how to fight a never ending open browser tabs accumulation.

Perhaps most of us have experienced open new tabs for any other websites or searches and one likes to keep them all open - just in case one wants to switch between them.

And in no time one get's a really loooong list of tabs - difficult finding that earlier opened page.

Computer-savvy may do a quick search in their tabs or use a huge collection of bookmarks instead and better have them categorized.

The main problem with many open tabs is slower responsiveness of the internet browser and thus your computer because of the large amount of computer memory used.

It's like if you got a two page shopping list all only in your head.

Now how about this new approach:

Have browser windows with bookmarked sites in categories and you only open the category (browser window) you only need now.

It's like at your kitchen - opening only those cupboards and boxes you need in order to prepare your meal and closing them again after use.
    1. I created new meaningful folders for my bookmarks. For example for "Work" I put all bookmarks related to my work and another folder for "Forums".
    2. I open that bookmarked folder as a new browser window.
    3. I save that particular browser window as a saved session with the same name as the bookmarks folder name, for example work.

I set as a startup browser window a category "Daily" for most used daily tabs.

Every time I need a certain category, I open a saved session, for example "Work" or "Forums".

And all that you can do with the Vivaldi browser. (I am not an affiliate.) Part of that very customizable internet browser are email and calendar integration and your social site access (in case you want) in your left side panel. It comes also with Proton VPN (but I use Urban VPN instead).

For password manager integration I found Bitwarden a good pick.

Vivaldi's integrated ad-blocker didn't match my requirements so I added uBlock Origin.

This is quite a new concept of internet browsing. In this way you tend to open less tabs and perhaps be surprised how few tabs and windows you need.
