Default article: Exploiting Reward Systems: Counterfeit Reinforcement in Targeting

One of the ways the mind is controlled is through the body reward system. This article aims to look at how it happens.

    Excerpt:

    "Abstract:
Targeting systems may employ not only disruptive or punitive mechanisms but also manipulative reinforcement strategies. This paper proposes that human reward systems can be systematically hijacked through the delivery of counterfeit reinforcement. These interventions simulate authentic reward processes, operate intermittently, and gradually redirect behavior and attention away from intrinsic values such as spirituality, purpose, and creativity. Analysis suggests that counterfeit reinforcement establishes a covert dependency loop, one that remains partially perceptible at the level of individual events but escapes recognition as a system until displacement has already occurred. A new concept is introduced here: the false finish line. Counterfeit reinforcement does not merely mimic natural reward but rearranges effort itself, creating artificial endpoints that prematurely signal accomplishment and redirect persistence. The framework is examined in relation to known principles of dopamine-driven reinforcement learning, cortical inhibitory dynamics, and emerging biomedical approaches to neural communication. Its implications are situated within Human Influence Cartography."
