Default Will Humanity Ever Leave This Solar System?

In the short to mid term, not a chance. Long term, probably, but we might be quite unrecognisable to current humans. (Not physically).

There are a number of things to consider, even in reaching a speculative answer.
    • Rocket technology won't hack it.

(Everyone currently producing rockets for the Moon, Mars and trips to Space Stations MUST be aware of this, no?)
    • Humans are fractured into different belief systems.

They hold onto them desperately for if they let go their beliefs they would lose a sense of who they are. Their worlds would crumble. (A necessary step I think).
    • Imagine we succeeded in building a sustainable colony on Mars.

How long would it be before covetous eyes were being cast at it from other nations with the tech to execute a takeover. Would this result in war between nations on planet Earth? That would likely cascade into an isolated colony totally reliant on themselves to produce everything they need.
    • Are there alien species here to ensure the rest of the Universe is protected from humanity until we grow-up? Would we even be allowed to colonise Mars?

Until man gets past the idea of nation states and humanity becomes just that, one species, we will be confined to earth by our own nature.

(As I was typing the above it occurred to me that a large number of us around the world could embrace the idea of one species with little problem. Now try explaining the concept to a politician, a general, corporate types etc. and see how far you get).

    Worth a little speculation?

Personaly , I think it's possible but not without tweaking one or two biological parameters of body that qualifies as current "terrestrial".

Dependency on food and other routines as we know them would have to be quite subdued and compressed to essential nutrients and vitamins in some form.

It's a realistic idea that was cross tested by yogis and aspirants of many ancient civilizations who also wanted to reach to other Stars.

Even if they failed to accomplish right that ( or the "others" would not come) they were still faithfully preparing for the time of departure and possibly, even the slim chance of detaching from nearly everything human with prospect of upgrade.

From current tech perspective they would have to survive very long time in hybernation state or worse cryonic states with 50/50 guarantee of return , at the best.

mari / what is grown up? what if this is exactly what we presently are and so meant to be? what would being grown up look like? peaceful? how come so many alleged et species and so on have already been at war or continue to do war?

from NDE experiencers, we are here for experience, which includes conflict. many of them say, things are exactly as they should be, and so many of them say this same thing repeatedly.
this is one of my great internal debates. Is there anything to fix? sure looks like it but then again, maybe not.

When we reach a point where we can create air, water and food on another planet as China has reportedly done, we will be on our way, without AI, imo.

I am not in favor of AI screwing with our humanity. We are perfectly fine as we are, still evolving naturally with no limit in sight.
Question Everything, always speak truth... Make the best of today, for there may not be a tomorrow!!! But, that's OK because tomorrow never comes, so we have nothing to worry about!!!

Yes Doug, we are here to experience duality and that means conflict and of course things are exactly as they should be This how our Creator planned it...for our species. This is the planet of free will after all, with all the 'choices' that entails. We incarnated here for the 'excitement' But this all comes with the caveat, that while we are at our present stage of 'evolution', that is, warlike, our 'overseers' (whoever they are) are confining us to Earth.
We are just too dangerous to be let out of our missile-strewn playpen, to foist our belligerent crap on the rest of the solar system, let alone take it further into our Galaxy.

What is 'grown up' in this context? I guess it means that we make the deliberate, conscious choice to do no harm to ourselves, all sentient beings including our home planet.

We are not here to speculate on what other ET species have achieved re evolution (and no, we are not going to be shafted by any warlike 'aliens' out there., as that's already been done to us by our own species) We just need to concentrate on our own backyard.

Forgive my poor memory, as I age my memory becomes more like vague recollections of ancient thoughts, looking back it is like trying to grab whisps of smoke, often unsuccessfully, but I faintly remember reading, probably here, that we as a species are tied to the planet, we have some type of symbiosis with earth? If per chance a few of us escaped and travelled to some distant location that we will inevitably wither and die? Unless there is some advanced medical system those who gave us the lift have at their disposal?

We may be able to leave Earth through technological achievement, but what good will it do if we are not allowed to be part of the greater universe? Until we learn to settle our differences with words and diplomacy instead of wars, we will forever be ostracized.

There seems to be a concensus on humanity needing to grow up. It's interesting to note that "aliens" began interfering with the prime directive - if such a thing exists, which I believe does - at the moment when humanity began playing with the atom bomb. Most have probably seen the old footage of these bombs being diffused in mid-flight. I've heard it said that such explosions effect more than just our dimension.

As many reading this thread may know, Ben Rich, the former head of the Lockheed Skunk Works, famously said the following shortly before he died:

The implication here is that some very highly advanced craft have indeed left our solar system, maybe as far back as 30+ years ago.

(Linda Howe has reported several times that there are three large craft that have left the solar system, all engaged in exploration: the USS Curtis LeMay, the USS Hoyt Vandenberg, and the USS Roscoe Hillenkoetter. I'm doubtful if this can be entirely trusted, but it's nevertheless pretty interesting. And yes, a Secret Space Program definitely exists, though its full scope is less well known.)

If the reality is not what we have believed, IMO it is not about a physical solar system. Honestly there is no way for me to judge perceptually that there is a map as we have to come to accept it. Therefore I suspect all I have are beliefs. I now observe that all rabbit warrens of speculation just spin out forever.

IMO we just cannot get away form how our POV shapes our experience and we create in this system by our attention.

IMO what is important is about here and now in terms of creating all the qualities we "seek" in life. To me, IF there was a solar system as described and all the galaxies etc., IT DOES NOT MATTER TO ME> It is only right now that I have any agency over.

Take all the reasosn to travel the stars and there are huge spreads of fantasy theme. I ask how one could be in that ONTOLOGY now of just imagining what I CHOOSE. For instance, I have been digesting much information about NHI. Just as one supposes about leaving the solar system becasue we "perceive" it is there to be left at all, we suppose about ALL the anomalous "visitation" from outside our "normal" experience. People actually still doubt that anything EXCEPT what they have been taught is possible.

We have no idea of what is actually occurring outside perception. The paradox is we will PERCEIVE only that which is BELIEVED in this environment of Illusion.

IMO we are so in danger from our own belief systems that I am craving some connection to a veracity beyond all particulars. I sense this connection echoed in others. These people who have connected will still be wrestling with belief but there is a serious communication path for "answers" to our questions. I heard John Rich stating he has a connection to a realm that he connects to Jesus and the Bible. IMO here everythng is Paradox. So, he may use it to "image" THE living god (UNKNOWN). There is an importance in creating significance in this life we lead.

IMO is TRUTH HOLDS NO no paradox. pARADOX IS BECAUSE OF DUALITY AND POLAR ENERGIES. For instance, if you reach that deep inner level of "voice", there are no words. iT JUST LETS YOU STAND CONFIDENTALLY IN SO MANY WAYS. The KNOWLEDGE UNFOLDS and relates to now and how we step forward daily HERE in whatever realm this is.

IMO the connection must be made apriori to have wise council on how to live where we are seeming to be. I see how this connection is constantly being assaulted and yet it is the easiest step to connect... Just be willing.

Whether there are stars and outside solar sytem places to go (OR NOT), we are still here right now... Now What can BE when god is here BEING WITH US> Just ask and IF there is anything even in scriptures and texts of value, you will know. I am suspect of the possibility that we are in an astral projection of Maya and that the astral has poisoned the whole plan with POSSIBLY every human projected belief now turned against the creator (us) and aimed at disconnecting CREATOR so something could POSSIBLY change in a Divine way? The Apocalypse revelations that we become disillusioned by MUST eventually open our heart nmind. One may only confront so much absurdity with out losing one's "mind". Then we HAVE the heart mind to fall in on. "Is this a simulacrum"?? is one my most deeply contemplated spins.

    Excellent response.

    See... It's all about Belief

And that brings the thread to a shuddering halt.

If you believe, as I do, that everything Delight just posted is more accurate than we often care to understand, and is often slightly uncomfortable to be reminded of, there is nothing to discuss.

    It really doesn't matter!

I think it is clear that certain factions among the fabled Aerospace contractors, that very irritating group of condescending & very supercilious people who have gained such a privileged status & position are in possession of information/technologies/conclusions/abilities that the rest of us are prevented from even being aware of: this is something that is impossible to keep totally secret, I actually believe we are on the very edge of learning much more, the time is ripe.
