I'm kicking this thread off with a report about protests in London and the removal of the Islamic Regime flag - because it highlights the role of women pushing for change - it's not just the women, of course, but many brave citizens both men and women and it appears to be a genuine build up of resistance - an organic groundswell of rebellion against the incumbent Regime throughout the whole country...
After the introduction, showing protests outside the embassy - GB News interviews Laila Jazayeri - the Director of the Association of Iranian Women in the UK...and she shares news from the streets of Iran as the uprising spreads -
WATCH: Iran protesters BREACH London embassy and RIP down Islamic regime flag (10:03)
10 Jan 2026
Iranian protesters have scaled the Iranian embassy in London and torn down the flag of the Islamic regime, replacing it with the nation's flag prior to the 1979 revolution.
Laila Jazayeri.....
3:00 "There is an underground resistance network. It's called resistance units. There are thousands of them all over Iran. They are not allowing the protest to die down. They have a leadership. The leadership is a woman, Mrs. Mariam Rajavi. She has a platform. She has a 10-point plan, a very progressive plan. And she's committed to transferring the power after the mulas are gone.
Transferring power to the people's elected representative within a maximum 6 months after the regime is overthrown. This would be through election or constituents assembly which will draft a new constitution and oversee a provisional government. So you see there is an alternative there outside Iran and there is network of resistance inside Iran."
