eSIM and staying connected off the usual networks
Hi all,
I’m trying to figure out the best way to stay connected when traveling in areas kinda “off the radar”, without relying on traditional carriers. I’ve heard about eSIMs you can buy and activate remotely, and I’ve even looked into some resources for finding good esim discount options, but I’m not sure which ones are really worth it to avoid getting totally disconnected or having data costs skyrocket.
I’m also curious about what it means in terms of security and freedom of connection. Has anyone tried solutions that let you have a reliable and discreet access while keeping control over your personal info? And mostly, how do you choose between all the different providers and plans nowadays? Prices and conditions change so fast, it’s hard to keep track. Would love to hear some real experiences, even just impressions: speed, ease of activation, reliability in different countries. That would help me prepare better for trips without being too dependent on regular networks.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!
