Trump Administration Releases first batch of UFO/UAP files [May 2026]

Hello, everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve been around here. I’m popping in now to share my thoughts on one of the topics I’m most passionate about: ufology. I see that many researchers and experts in the field—including some leading authorities—have a somewhat dismissive view of these recent developments regarding the declassification of material by the U.S. government. They argue that we’re still being fed insignificant information or mere crumbs. My perspective on all this is different; I’m not saying it’s “better” than that of some of the leading scholars in the field, but it is different.



To begin with, I believe that, for humanity as a whole today, what is happening is indeed very positive. First, because the fact that one of the most prominent and influential countries on a global scale is gradually validating the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon is beneficial. It is beneficial because this leads the general population (who do not research these topics) to be more open to the reality of extraterrestrials. And that means a massive shift in consciousness. However, as I always say, this is tied to the fact that the U.S. government has been portraying “aliens” as enemies with a strong emphasis. And that is, in my opinion and based on what I’ve been researching for years, largely false.



Another point I find favorable is that it is very likely that in the not-too-distant future, the content of the revelations from upcoming declassifications will be more powerful. Eventually, I believe they may even provide biological evidence of non-human beings, of architectural structures on other planets, or something along those lines. This is just my estimate, so we’ll see what happens...

DISCLOSURE, I think this is really becoming a dirty word within Ufology. I as you all may know have had hands on direct experience within this game we call research. From the 70s with being a high profile investigator and my liaison with the UK government/MOD onto my direct involvement with a deep black project and then onto my disclosures globally from 1994 to 2000. I have in a naive way I guess believed there would be actual disclosure. But as I've matured and grown old I see that was a pipe dream. What we have seen regarding these releases from the US government is simply more fodder to try and please the ufo community. Its never NEVER gonna happen. It would be totally impossible to see full disclosure as too many fingers are in too many pies, too much money is involved and far too much power is being held by the contractors, they would rather kill you than release even a snippet of what they have. I've seen firsthand what both white hats and black hats are all about, I've mixed with both sides of the spectrum. Disheartened by what I saw regarding the direction of ufo community being taken forced me to step back in 2015/16, I hoped for better but saw what a total waste of time it was becoming. Disclosure can NEVER EVER be made in full, I appreciate that now and resign myself to my own experiences and memories. I'm getting near the end of my time here on planet Earth so can only console myself with my own knowledge. the bigger world of Ufology will continue being drip fed with tidbits, the truth CANNOT BE TOLD.

Disclosure can NEVER EVER be made in full

I have to agree. The complex, close-to-completely-unbelievable, and sometimes very dark and concerning truths about the whole thing are way too much for the public to even start to get their heads around.

My guess: the strategy of the faction that does want at least partial 'disclosure' (opposed by the faction that wants absolutely none at all) is to officially confirm the reality of 'occasional' ET visitors, that we seem to be not alone, that there's no danger — and then let's all forget about the entire thing and ask no more questions, okay?

What, how and when the Trump administration discloses classified materials about UFOs/UAPs is driven by the goal of control and domination .. hegemony through manipulation and force. Honest and open conversations and research are not a hallmark of facism!

The belief that there are ET races here on the planet, ultimately controlling everything, and that the US has secret technology and remains serve to strengthen US hegemony and mythical exceptionalism. Along with fear of the unknown, this narrative serves the global elite, which Trump serves. I do not believe it (ET presence and remains) but I do understand the psychology of group think etc. that makes a lot of people believe that is the truth.

There is so much in the past that has been, and still is, dismissed, suppressed, forced aside with official narratives. I still have not worked out why the global elite do not want open and honest research and conversations about the true history of our species, and the possible/probable ET connection. That truth is probably multi-layered with many tentacles, but at least here I can find clues and nuggets of wisdom.

We are the aliens we have been looking for. That is my belief. And the intervention to create our species, which was done with much experimentation, was done using alien DNA as a building block. Perhaps that belief is a version of or part of the truth, rather than the complete and final truth.

It is entirely possible that there are many civilizations in our galaxy alone, and that some visit us, but it is also possible that we are indeed a prison planet that has been shielded from contact with or interference from other species in our galaxy (similar perhaps to Gaza and the Palestinians there). The lesson of Gaza is perhaps that humans are extremely resilient and resourceful, so the aliens ultimately cannot hide from us nor control us.

Some of the phenomena described or depicted in the disclosure may simply indicate the limit of our knowledge and the extent of our brainwashed ignorance and arrogance. We perhaps need to stop spending billions on killing children in the Middle East and rather focus on trying to take a great leap forward in our understanding and knowledge of how our planet and solar system and galaxy and universe work. Musk conquering Mars for America hegemony and mythical exceptionalism is not enough. The multipolar world that BRICS is building perhaps offers better options for transformative discussions and discoveries and exploration, but the war that America is waging to save US hegemony probably threatens the future of BRICS and limits its possibility in many ways (threats and attacks from the US lead to increasingly centralized and strict controls in the countries it attacks, so the damage is from the US AND the reaction from within...).

After all that rambling, my question still is why are the global elite suppressing transformative exploration, discoveries and discussions? Am I wrong in thinking that this global elite does exist and this suppression is the way they have always operated? If I am, then my question is moot and it is all down to classic human behaviour, which is why we see patterns and cycles in history, in all populations and regions. Human behaviour can be changed. A global elite can be defeated (still around but no longer controlling and manipulating). The truth is a journey, not a destination.

I couldn't help but notice that much of the data was more recent, the films, the camera footage... MOST of it is dated after 2020. (From what I saw)... Along with a few memos here and there that say basically little that we would find important. And ALL of it seems to be testing earthly elements like copper and such.

It seems to me that they're doing this as the technology is going to become so obvious in the near future, that they are getting ahead of it, before Space Force openly appears in our skies...

Thus far, to me it has been very disappointing..

Do I believe we have neighbors? Of course... But they're "Beating around the bush"... knocking off only the low hanging fruit that requires no real answers.

We should also bear in mind that almost everyone "in the know" from way back has said that the government doesn't know the truth of what's going on [any more than we do], so whatever is released is probably already known and certainly none of the stuff we really want to know - like technology - will be forthcoming, nor the more negative information that we only suspect . . .

A third batch of UFO files was released by the Pentagon on Friday morning.

The document drop included recorded NASA briefings after Apollo 16, which referred to an 'alien starbase' on the dark side of the moon. The comments were not included in the official transcript from the 1972 mission.
